Om man bortser från obekväma sängar ( dåliga madrasser och kuddar i alla fall i vårt rum), lyhördheten p g a tunna dörrar och knarrande golv, en halvbra frukost och lite småtrulig personal så rekomenderar jag ändå detta hotell. Läget kunde inte vara bättre och huset är gammalt och charmigt. Vårt badrum var nyrenoverat och det är rent och funktionellt […] på rummen. Helt okey om man sänker sina krav på standard. Läs mer

När du bokar en vindsvåning (Attic room), så bokar du egentligen Attic/Apartment. Det syns inte här, men det är vad hotellet ser. Det betyder att när du kommer fram, är det stor risk att du får istället en Apartment, som är en tvårumslägenhet med 4 liggplatser. Du kan se den felaktiga beskrivningen om du bytar språk till engelska (United Kingdom t.ex.) […] Jag har berättat detta för hotellet, men de har inte rättat till det än. Rummet var absolut inte värt sitt pris, det var slitet. Bilderna på rummet såg fantastiska ut och de stämde säkert för 10 år sen. Nu har väggarna rispor och fläckar. Badrummet var litet och trångt. Däremot så fanns det ett onödigt stort klädutrymme med hatthylla vid badrummet. Varför gjorde de inte badrummet större istället? Det positiva är att du kan hyra film helt gratis hos dem. Och att det ligger mitt i smeten. Men det finns många andra som är bättre för detta priset! Läs mer

Vårat rum låg på sidan om receptionen ( en annan ingång ). Frukosten serveras i ett rum i anslutning till receptionen. Frukosten var väldigt sparsam men det gick att äta sig mätt för stunden. Ett tips till hotellet är i alla fall att hålla mjölken kall, det är inte gott med varm mjölk. Vi hade rum nummer 1 och det var ett stort mysigt rum med knarrande […] golv och allmänt trivsamt. Badrummet var rent och fint med världens minsta badkar. Det gick inte att stå i det för det var ett snedtak över och det gick inte att ligga i det utan man fick sitta och försöka tvätta sig. Fungerar ändå om man är "normal rörlig". Det bästa med hotellet är läget och priset och på grund av det så rekomenderar vi det gärna men det är långt ifrån ett lyxhotell. Läs mer

Ett mycket trevligt hotell. Vi tog ett superiur rum som var över förväntan för det låga priset. Frukosten var kanske inte det bästa men helt ok. Lite nonchalant service men annars ett mycket bra hotell. Prisvärt och bra läge!

Vi hade ett rum för 4 personer som var rymligt och jättefint. En intressant detalj var att det var glasdörr in till toalett och dusch, något att ha i åtanke om man åker med någon/några man inte känner så väl. Frukosten var inte den buffé man är van vid i Sverige men helt ok. Personalen var jättetrevligt och hjälpsam. Tjejen i receptionen hjälpte oss […] att ringa och kolla upp ett antal saker. Ett extra plus är den brasilanska restaurangen som ligger i nedervåning, måste besökas!! Fantastisk! Vi lämnade hotellet och Prag väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse. Läs mer

Jättemysigt hotell med fina rum, städas dock inte så noga... men det går an en vecka. Bra service i hotellreceptionen, frukosten lite torftig men fungerar också om man är där en vecka. Läget är helt kanon, precis vid torget. Nära till allt! Gratis internetuppkoppling och dator om man behöver söka upp sevärdheter.

I had booked a nice room in the attic for me and my wife as a start of our honeymoon, but when we got our room this was not an attic room. This of course was a big disappointment! They had not a good explainatian why and due to the rooms were booked we could not get one as we had booked. Also you could not have the bath room door open because then the […] whole room smelled from the kitchen downstairs. It seems like the ventilation system is not perfectly designed! Läs mer

Läget, läget, läget! Hotellet ligger alldeles vid torget (med klockan) i Gamla stan och på gångavstånd till de sevärdheter vi var intresserade av. Hotellet var utifrån ganska oansenligt med en liten reception och ett litet frukostrum. Vi var tre personer som hade bokat vindsvåningen men fick av okänd anledning ett rum på första våningen. Litet hotell med personligt rum (vårt i alla fall), gott om plats för hela familjen, 4pers, rent och kanonläge i gamla stadens centrum, gångavstånd till allt, bra för oss som vill upptäcka staden till fots. Rekommenderas vamt!

Vårt rum låg på översta våningen det var många trappor dit. Toaletten var trång och rummen var ganska lyhörda men vi kunde sova gott och tyckte trots allt att det var o.k på grund av att läget var suveränt och priset bra. Lite tradig frukost.

Ett förträffligt hotell för den som inte föredrager de stora kedjornas förutsägbara. Charmigt och med fantastiskt läge, allt inom gångavstånd.

Vi var i det stora hela väldigt nöjda med detta mysiga lilla hotell mitt i kärnan av Prag. Bra frukost och fint och fräscht rum! Bra service i form av gratis internetanvändning och dvdfilmer. Tyvärr blev det en miss vid utcheckningen och vi blev tvugna att betala för saker i minibaren som vi faktiskt inte tagit. Städerskan måste tydligen ha antecknat […] fel rumsnummer och vi kunde inget åt saken göra. En tråkig avslutning då receptionspersonalen inte litade på oss... Läs mer

This hotel is right in the heart of the old towne and during the day it was very convenient. At night it was a bit noisy and wild, and may be intimidating to some. Quite a few people had enjoyed quite a lot of beer. The rooms are very nice and spacious. Our attic apartment was unbelievably huge and would be fantastic for a large family. The bathroom […] was small, but OK. We also had a triple room on the 2nd floor in the main building which was impeccable in its decor with a cavernous bathroom that was the best I have seen in Europe. Breakfast was good, but room was a little small. No elevators, but only 3 flights up max, so not a big deal. The parking was tricky - only free on one specific street. We had to find a lot for 30 euro/night, which was 3 blocks away. Läs mer

Right in the square. Perfect location to everything. Be willing to climb some stairs if you are on the third floor, but not that bad at all. Great value. Young women at front desk was very nice if you got her to open up a little.

This hotel is located in a terrific area in Prague, in the heart of the city. The hotel receptionist was wonderful and had great recommendations based on our needs. However, this is a much older hotel and with that comes narrow, twisting stairs (no elevator), difficult for elderly and those with big suitcases. Also, noisy rooms - you can hear the people […] walking above you, walking up the stairs during all hours of the day and even hear muffled conversations from the other room. Great location. Rooms not as pretty as they appear to be on the website. No lift. Noisy in the mornings during the week (cars, lorries making deliveries). Quieter at the weekend. My husband and I have stayed all over the world, and our stay at U Tri Bubnu may have just topped them all. It had everything that is important to us: - An absolutely PERFECT location, steps from the old town square, clock tower, etc. - Fabulous local charm, the original 15th-century beam ceilings with beautiful painted murals - A spotlessly clean […] room, including an absolutely enormous bathroom with heated towel racks and large soaking tub - A helpful, nice staff - Very reasonable price - Free wifi I honestly can't think of a single bad thing to say about this place and would come back again in a heartbeat. The hotel is in a fantastic locations, right next to pretty much everything and an easy cab ride to everywhere else. Could use some updating. Bathrooms do not have shower curtains or glass, which makes absolutely no sense and I stayed in 2 rooms so I know. Front desk and management were pleasant. You have to give them your key every time you leave, […] which I dont agree with but ok. I only have one real complaint. Me and my two brothers brought some friends up for a drink one night (yes girls :) and they wanted to charge on the spot in front of them an extra 500 Kurons for each guest ($25 US Dollars per). I assured them the girls are only coming up to hang out before we go back out and they were insistent. Made us all feel cheap, like we are bringing hookers up to our hotel to get a quickie. Really inappropriate. Besides the curtainless showers and the lame guest charge I actually like the hotel. Läs mer

Given the location, this hotel was excellent value for money and perfect for a short break. A listed building in the center of one of the most historic cities in the world, this is a cultural win. Its beautiful stonework, exposed wooden beams and sense of history more than make up for any modern conveniences that others might miss. Some elements of […] the bathroom could do with refreshing but they were clean and well maintained. Most of the staff were not the most cheerful bunch but the service was ok. A wonderful location right around the corner from the center of the action in Prague. This is an older walk-up hotel. Not the most galmorous place in town but offers good value. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a good breakfast.

I would advise anyone considering staying at this hotel to stear clear. When we arrived at the hotel at 11 am we were able to check in without a problem and were excited to get a little rest prior to starting our adventure in Prague. We walked in our room which was an adequate size and I went to brush my teeth. I turned on the water and the fixture […] snapped off. I was a little disappointed with the quality but figured we would just need to be placed in a new room. The reality of what then happened was far different. I called down to the front desk and they said they would call the manager. The front desk called back a few minutes later and said the manager would be there in about an hour to fix the problem and that we would be responsible for the repairs. I tried to explain to the front desk what had happened but they said I needed to speak with the manager. I became a little more perturbed but still figured the manager would be reasonable. Again, I could not have been more wrong. We waited about 45 minutes for the manager to show up. When he arrived without looking at the sink he already had the correct part in hand. Obviously, this was not the first time this had occurred. The repair took him all of about 2 minutes. I tried to explain that all I had done is turn the water on and he refused to speak with me and that I owed 800 crowns for the repair. Again, I tried to explain the situation and he stated that if I mentioned it again I would owe 2500 crowns. Finally, I decided I was cheated but had no real recourse. In summary, the location is great but rest assured if there are any problems you stay will be quite sour. I am certain you can find a more reputable hotel in the same area. Läs mer

We walked absolutely everywhere from this hotel. Free use of laptop in room was a nice surprise as well as heated bathroom floors. Highly recommend.

Just be sure you request that your room be in the MAIN building with 24 hour receptionist at the front desk, breakfast included, and location remarkable.

Location is all important and this small hotel is ideally located to allow easy access to all of the important tourist locations in Prague, especially the Old Town Square which is the most important of all. In addition it is approximately 300 yards from the metro station which provides easy and inexpensive connections to and from the airport via the […] combined underground/bus service. The hotel is small, but very friendly and the proprietors do everything they can to make the most of the facilities that they have available. Why would you want to spend a lot more to get a similar level of service from a larger but less welcoming hotel. If i were to return to Prague I would not want to stay anywhere else Läs mer

Friendly helpful staff at check-in speaking excellent English. 14 Century building with lots of character, no lift and a lot of stairs to climb to the bedrooms. The breakfast was a very reasonable continental buffet meal. Location of hotel was excellent at the edge of the Old Town Square and next to the Astronomical Clock.

Close to everything! In prague you'll within walking distance to almost everything....bring confortable shoes- coblestone streets will beat you you up...but what fun and charm! We were in room 17 (top floor) it's a clime! No joke! Nice room bigger than we expected. One odd thing is that the bathroom and the sleeping area are on separate levels (about […] 15 steps - rather steep). There were 2 large windows in the room facing the enclosed courtyard with the restaurant kitchen below and 4 Small windows looking out on the rooftops. We opened the windows at night to get some air flow - nice and cool. During the night you'll hear the chimes of the Astronomical Clock. We did not eat the breakfast buffet, just had coffee. The small breakfast room was always packed with people and rather hot. Just outside the hotel door (turn left) there is a small pastry shop with wonderfull sweet treats, sandwiches, breads and coffee. You can eat it there (TADY) or take it with you. The staff is very nice and accomidating. You'll get an actual key to your room - ONE key (not a key card) , and they want you to leave the key with the front desk when you go out on the town. We stayed in the Prague Golden Age Hotel our first night in Prague (long story that has nothing to do with booking this hotel) and that was a nice place as well, although not as clean the location and comfort of the room was tops and cheaper and we were able to get a room just 30 mins after arriving in Prague airport at 10:00pm - without getting ripped off due to last minute booking (literally)! We enjoyed Prague, it's small cobblestone streets - GET LOST IN THEM (especialy in Mala Strana), IT'S WONDERFUL AND YOU MAY FIND A SMALL OUT OF THE WAY CAFE OR RESTAURANT - A REAL GEM OF THE TOURIST BEATEN PATH (unless you absolutely must have a frap at starbucks and by some wierd fluke your city in US does not have one). Perfect location around the corner from Old Town Square. Close but not right next to noise. An old basic hotel but clean and staff friendly. Bathroom OK tho no shower curtain. Enough space to put clothes away. Two downsides: no elevator (I was on 4th floor) or air conditioning. They did provide a window fan but in hotter weather, it might be a problem. […] Breakfast (included) OK, typical Prague with cold cuts, cheese etc. (no eggs.) Computer with internet access in lobby. This hotel is well located and within walking distance to the major attractions and train stations. The hotel itself is in good physical condition, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they are informed about the city and local attractions. The rooms are kept clean and tidy, and includes everything necessary to ensure a comfortable stay.

You have to experience it! This hotel provides first class services at a fraction of the cost. Friendly staff that is always helpfull. The only negative of the hotel is the lack of lifts, but the food and staff makes up for it. Well done.

This hotel was perfect and an excellent value for what I paid. The location could not have been better, the service was impeccable and the place had a very cool, original charm to it that I will never forget. I felt very safe, comfortable and relaxed here. Will definitely recommend it to others visiting this city.

Everything about our trip was great, with the exception of the staff. Perhaps it is because I don't understand the Czech culture, but the staff was off putting. Our room was huge and full of windows. The ceiling and bedroom were great, as was the bath. The climb up the stairs was daunting, but well worth it. As for the staff, they were not the most […] friendly. After renting a laptop that had connectivity problems, the staff told me it was my fault for not knowing how to work it. I brought it back to them, and they couldn't fix it either. No apology ensued...a few minutes later, another guest had a problem with his reservation. After huffing and acting like it was his fault, the staff realized it was their mistake, but still continued to blame the guest. Very offputting. But if you only have to deal with the staff at check in and check out, who cares, because the hotel is that worth it! Läs mer

We loved that they checked out laptops to us and let us borrow English movies with no charge. The only problem was that the hotel was kind of noisy in the morning as you could hear the off the old town square (this is to be expected for the great location) and the floors and beds are very squeaky--- we could hear people walking around below and what […] sounded like above us. Hotewl was close to the old town square, very old and squeezed between a restaurant and bar. Breakfast good but got very crowded near 10am. No lifts had to carry the suitcase up three fligts of stairs, and each night also had to climb the stairs after being out all day. Straff were freindly and helpful. prague is fast becoming expensive with some establish […] ment charging for items on a table to different prices for inside/outside.This hotel wanted to charge for tea coffe making, although only 10kc but still not in line with other hotels we have stayed at. Generally a good hotel, very well situated with its own mixed character. We had a top room at the back which was quiet and spacious, but rooms at the front can be noisy, as with any city hotel. Good furniture let down by saggy bed. Breakfast is simple Czech style.

Olimme lomalla 5 päivää ja hotelli oli kaikin puolin niin kiva, kotoisa . Vuoteiden patjat olivat ehkä pikkuisen kovat, mutta niihin tottui. Aamupalalla olisi voinut olla vähän variaatioita ja jos heräsi myöhemmin, niin syötävät olivat joskus loppuneet. Kaikin puolin mukava ja huoneissa hyvä tunnelma...Suosittelen ehdottomasti:))

Meget fin beliggenhed. Ringe badeværelse, en kraftig lugt af råddent vand tvang os til at lade lys på badeværelse være tændt konstant for at holde ventilationen igang. Gamle madrasser, som skal udskiftes, da de har taget form efter krop. Meget lydt. Særdeles begrænset morgenmadsbuffet.

Det lå centralt - men man skal være opmærksom på, at der ikke er elevator !!!

Vi var afsted med vores 4 teenagedrenge og boede i taglejligheden med trappe til det ekstra værelse. Her er et hotel i centrum, hvorfra du på gåben kan komme frem til alle seværdighederne uden problemer. Det er et rigtig hyggeligt hotel med mange kringlede gange og rigtig mange trapper, så hvis man er gangbesværet skal man vælge et andet hotel. Værelserne […] er store og lyse ( dog skal det siges at loftslejligheden har meget lavtliggende bjælker. Der er ikke meget smil på personalets læber men beliggenheden opvejer det totalt. Morgenmaden indtages i et lille værelse ved receptionen og der er foruden kaffe og the brød, kager, frugt youghurt med musli, ost, smør, marmelade og lune pølser. Hvis folk ikke har nok i det, er der rigtig mange steder man kan spise morgenmad ude i byen. Vi vil meget gerne booke værelse på U Tri Bubnu igen næste gang vi skal besøge Prag Läs mer
