Strälande hotell med ett stort minus för pool baren och dess personal. I övrigt närmast perfekt, dyr frukost dock som normalt ingår överallt i Thailand

Vi bodde två nätter på hotellet och var positivt överraskade. Vi valde faktiskt hotellet, i det enorma utbud som finns i Bangkok, pga av andra gästers recensioner om frukost och service och det stämde till punkt och pricka! Frukosten var fantastisk, ett utbud som var överväldigande och hög kvalitet på allt. Servicen var oklanderlig på hotellet och […] rummen härligt utformade. Det enda som man kan ha synpunkter på är att Internet inte var gratis på rummen, endast i lobby och allmänna utrymmen. Vi utnyttjade också fitness rummet, fullservice även där med personal som delade ut vatten och kalla handdukar, liksom vid poolen. Området är ju som det är, ligger mittemot Patpong 1 med allt vad det innebär men man kan ta Sky trainen från Silom, om man går igenom Patpong. Topp-hotell! Läs mer

Mycket nöjda. Frächt, nybyggt med snygg arkitektur, rymligt rum med alla bekvämligheter och finesser, i stället för sunkiga standardrum. Mycket bra beläget, en oas mitt i bangkoks kaos. Mycket trevlig personal. rekomenderas varmt.

Trevligt inrett rum med häftigt badrum. Något hård och stum säng. Poolområde med sol till ungefär 16.00. Stor frukostbuffe. Något lite frukostpersonal så påfyllning av maten fallerade ibland. Mycket trevlig personal. Taxi till de stora varuhusen tog från 10-20minuter (billigt). Bra restauranger i området. Här kan vi komma igen

Modern and urbanly chic 5 * hotel in the midst of hectic Bangkok. The atmosphere at the hotel feels somehow quite european/western and therefore everytime you step outside of the hotel, it comes like a surprise that you're actually in Bangkok. That suited me more than well 'cause I wasn't that fond of Bangkok. The staff, like in all the Le Meridien […] hotels I have stayed at, is very helpfull and friendly. The facilities feel fresh and the hotel breathes high quality all the way from the lobby to the guestrooms and to the fitness centre and pool area. This hotel was the last one out the eight 5* hotels we stayed at during our trip and we felt more than satisfied with our choice. Had maybe the best slept night of our trip in the very comfortable bed. Can mention that the hotel includes 24/7 gym and that is always appreciated by a actively training folks. The best part of the hotel is still after all this the BREAKFAST. It is at the least to say the best breakfast I have ever had, and I stay only in 5* hotels and travel frequently. The selection is so wide that one can maybe taste everything during one morning but then you're already so full that you can forget to actually start eating the things you liked the most. And in this case the quantity doesn't mean less quality, vice versa. Absolutely top of the line was the waffles, home made ice cream (yes, ice cream at the breakfast) and fresh coconuts and the sublime selection of fresh fruits. Prime location...taxis can get there easily....excellent service....it can get a little rowdy at night, no danger just people coming in at late hours....excellent hotel will definitely stay there again

One of the best city central hotels we have stayed in. Staff were fantastic, it was great value, and you're a 2 min walk away from a sky train station. Highly recommend.

Great hotel. I love staying there. As soon as I walk into the lobby, I feel good.

Really nice hotel with super-attentive staff and a genuine customer service focus. Excellent spa. Good food. Very comfortable rooms (get a high floor). Free internet and wifi in the lobby. Contrast between the serenity of the hotel and the full-on madness of Patpong just 100m away is quite breathtaking at times...but that's Bangkok after all.

I last stayed at this hotel when it had newly opened. Clearly then the staff and facilities were of the highest order. One could not have wanted for anything and everyone went out of the way to greet and be very friendly. On this occasion I found the gloss had somewhat gone off. The facilities are still the same but it is just an ordinary hotel now. […] The staff were still charming, but gaps appeared in the overall service. The room showed early signs of wear and tiredness, and the finer details of maintenance were not there. I attempted also to negotiate a later check-out but it was not negotiable. I was told the rooms were fully booked. I felt uncomfortable even asking. The hotel remains convenient for shopping and access to local freeways, and for journies to and from the airport. We stayed 4 nights at Le Meridien and were very satisfied. The location is very good in Silom, closed to main night attractions and subway for day tours. The swimming pool is quite small but very sunny. My only little concern is that you have to pay on a daily basis for wifi connection which I consider not convenient nor adequate for an hotel of this […] standard. Läs mer

When I first open the room, I found many interesting & creative design in the room. The vanity & room can be connected with smart idea. It can provide the room an whole concept and still can be separated. I love the bathtub design. An awesome hotel.

This is a very nice hotel. Good rooms, a nice bar, and beautiful. The location isn't great for what we wanted to do as it's sqare in the middle of Patpong.

From the moment you pull up to this hotel you will know you have made a good choice. The place is sweet, think Standard in LA, or W in NYC. Rooms are awesome, we had a corner room, staff were super friendly, spa was great, pool deck was great and if you are leaving BKK on a late flight (like most people are) they let you use the Spa, Gym and showers […] to freshen up before heading to the airport. This is basically IN pat pong, so if you want to avoid the night life or have young kids then maybe this isn't the place to stay as outside it can get pretty scummy in the evenings. Läs mer

The hotel is in a great location and had great service. The only negative is the setup of the room and bathroom.......only a couple of drawers to put clothes away, and the bathroom and toilet share a sliding door between the two......somewhat uncomfortable.

Stayed in Le Meridien on last night of my holiday. Everyone at hotel could not have been more helpful during my visit to the hotel - from the check in staff, concierge, spa and restaurant staff. The reception and concierge were extremely polite and friendly and made sure I was fully informed about where I was going and tourist traps to look out for. I […] would not only recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Bangkok, but would particularly recommend a massage at the spa. Beautiful spa and very professional masseuse at a very reasonable price. The meals in the hotel is a great deal especially their buffets - there's a wide variety and great taste too. However, room design was a little inconvenient - while the design was avant garde it was not practical - not enough drawers or storage space for clothes, bathroom was not sound proof, so could hear what your spouse is doing in the can or shower. […] Doors to the bathroom slide open - while that was neat, it was disconcerting. Apparently the room cleaners in this 5 star hotel do not check to ensure the last guest did not leave the alarm clock set. I was awaken after 5 1/2 hours of sleep. There is no bedside lamp in this high tech hotel. There are a series of buttons which control the lights, most of which are recessed in the ceiling. When the alarm went off, my partner managed […] to find the button which turns on all the lights. None of the buttons are labelled, nor are there any instructions in the room. The alarm clock has 10 buttons; aCisco IP phone on the desk has the usual 12 buttons plus 26 more. If you delight in high-tech gadgets, this is the hotel for you. Otherwise, stay elsewhere. Läs mer

Business trip, no problems, clean, good service and some good sushi bars in the neighborhood. The bar inside the hotel is a bit pricey, on par with the chain prices.

We finished our two month China, Nepal, India journey here. Loved the view room, and automatic shades, French press coffee maker, and selection of tea and coffee. Comfortable furnishings and bed. They pay attention to the little details in a room. This property has a great staff, always ready to take time to make recommendations. Dinner was good, too. […] We have stayed in many Bangkok hotels in the past, but we chose this while in Bangalore. We were not disappointed. We spent two nights at this hotel. There really isn't much to fault. The rooms are clean, modern, spacious and very comfortable. The reception area staff are very attentive and friendly. The breakfast is very good and there is an excellent array of dishes to choose from. On the downside, I think some things are over priced. Internet for 24 hours is […] well over 400 Baht, even so, at least it's really fast. The restaurant food is also over priced and the service there is a bit slow. We have been to Bangkok six or seven times now and have always stayed in first class hotels, this has been by far in a way the best yet. Modern in the heart of the city. Attentive, polite staff. A+++

This hotel should not be labeled a 5 star hotel, as it places it in the same category as the Peninsula, Mandarin, and Shangri La. This hotel would receive a 4 star at best, and I stayed in one of their large signature rooms with the circle bed, which just turns out to be small, and awkward inside the room. Functional, modern and ultra-contort beds. Wonderful views and nice room concept (corner room). The best, the staff, kind and efficient! The spa is also a must. Will repeat when traveling to Bangkok again!

Overall our experience was good, after getting over a booking misunderstanding and the unhelpful approach of the Duty Manager, had we not had this experience I would have reviewed as excellent.

I have never written a review because I simply never have the time after I travel. But I definitely had a special experience at le Meridien in Bangkok. I suddenly found myself in Thailand after my mother had been medi-vac'ed to Bangkok because she had contracted a life-threatening infection during a mission trip to Cambodia. Le Meridien became nothing short of an oasis for me amidst the madness of the city. Everything was superb and went well-beyond my expectations, especially the staff that always greeted me with smiles and anything I could want, often before I even knew I wanted it. I had the chance to visit a hotel that was twice the price, and I could say that I would choose le Meridien over the more expensive hotel any day. I have stayed at Le Meridien Bangkok a number of times and it is the first choice whenever I am in Bangkok. The standard of the rooms and the service and the food is first class. The staff are very friendly and really know what they are doing. They even remembered my name after 3 months which was astonishing. The value for money is also worth some […] consideration. It is the best value five star hotel in the city. The surrounding area is a bit seedy at night with the Patpong market just across the street and lots of go-go clubs and sex shows. It is not a place to take small children but if you are a consenting adult then enjoy! Stayed first time in Le Meridien in Bangkok as there was a special deal. Finally the hotel is quite nice for the locations, rooms are contempory fashionable, but I was not feeling welcome in that room. Nothing was really bad, but nothing was really good, beside the location. Next time I will try out other locations.

The location was good, staff very friendly and helpful, room quality was excellent and the 2nd fllor restaurant food was wonderful.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July and loved it. Very modern and highly stylised, service was fantastic as was the room. i don't usually bother writing reviews but felt I owed it to le Meridian to write one this time as we really could not fault the service we received, the quality of the hotel or the value for money. Stunning moden design,Service absolutely 5 star , free internet, location extremely good just 1 min away from pat pong night market and 5 min from BTR .Allshops outside from masages to 24 hour 7 eleven . One of the best breakfast .Steam room, gym , pool what more can i say . i will go back again to this hotel.i was at Hilton in Pataya and this hotel […] is far better in terms of service and the breakfast .For Halaal food it is at the Grace hotel and only 10- 12 min taxi ride.
