Nice friendly staff who tried to help us best they could huddling down waiting for Sandy. Close to the falls, walking distance for us (non-american) walkers. Good restaurant and bar staff and adequate food. But the city of Niagara N Y is a run down place so anyone who can should stay omn the Canadian side which is nicer, livelier and with a slightly better view.

Vill man se Niagarafallen kan man förmodligen inte bo bättre. Toppläge! Mycket bra restaurang.

Stora sevärdheter finns vid de stora fallen i Kanada. Fallsview Indoor Water Park, är en av landets största och ligger precis vid början av Rainbow Bridge. Intill ligger MarineLand Canada och här kan du se både späckhuggare och vitval. Spelaren kan välja mellan Casino Niagara och Fallsview Casino Resort, ett av Kanadas största kasinon. En klar dag kan besökare se Toronto från Skylon Tower (160 meter).

I checked in with my boyfriend a friend and her boyfriend we are 25 years old and hardly party people before we could even get our bags out of the car we were hounded by the manager for having parties and being loud, we told the women we weren't there for those reason she continued to freak out and threaten us she then followed us to the room and yelled […] at us some more it got to the point where we left and found a new hotel. "Great Value in Niagara"
This is a old Inn, but it is very clean and comfortable. There is no breakfast but Tim Hortons is just down the road and they offer complementary tea and coffee in the lobby. The water was hot for a shower in the morning and the rooms have been recently painted and are well maintained. The ceilings are thin so book a top floor room if possible. They […] use keys instead of cards for the doors which we liked. The T.V.s are old and there was a old fridge in our room which we unplugged for the night. A bonus is the parking is free where other hotels in Niagara charge up to $20.00 a night. There is also an outdoor pool which I was told is very popular in the summer. "Clean and convenient!"
This hotel was great. Room was very clean. No smoke smell in evidence almost anywhere in the hotel. Excellent location and great value. We will be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting the Niagara region. We also loved that it was really close to the tiny and cozy greasy spoon diner just a block north. "Dated"
Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Room was clean but very outdated. Linens were quite worn. Updating linens and decor would go a long way to upgrading the ratings. A short walk to the WEGO bus system which takes you to many Niagara Falls points of interest.Verifierad gästrecension

The manager was very helpful in pointing out sights to see and places to eat, etc. He even gave us a large room just inside the door with the ramp in order to accommodate my daughter's walker. The hotel is well placed within easy walking distance of the falls, shopping and just plain walking. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for one night this place is really not that bad. The location was great, only a short walk from the falls and other attractions. "Good Value in a Good Location"
This hotel is a good choice for either singles, a couple, and even families. It is really close walking distance to both the fallsview side and the clifton hill activity. The service was fast and the staff were really nice & friendly. This hotle actually has keys instead of those swipe cards that always get deactivated. We noticed a musty smell when […] we first entered our room and strangely there was a crib inside! The rooms are very out dated and the beds weren't like the hilton, but it was just fine. I think the bathrooms could use a remodeling, but otherwise the bathroom was very clean. The shower had a good pressure and the water heated quickly. The soap provided was very drying to my skin, so I would bring my own from home next time. The beds were clean with nice fresh white sheets - no stains and no bugs. The parking is free and the internet at the Ramada across the street is available at no cost(no password)!!! I really liked our room on the second floor by the back door. There is no elevator, but we didn't mind taking the stairs! Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone else who is looking to getaway on a budget. Even though we stayed for only one night, it was a great stay. We met Angelo at the reception desk. He was extremely friendly and helpful. "Absolutely HORRIFIC"
After reading the reviews of this hotel, I decided it would be fine for a quick stop over solution. We weren't looking for luxury. Just a place to rest our heads after a super late flight in before we continued on our journey in the morning. This hotel was disgusting. "Exactly what I expected"
For the price of this hotel you cannot get any better. I did not nor expect the spas, gyms, etc. of the pricier hotels. I wanted something clean, close and cheap and that is exactly what I got. The service at the Diplomat is very friendly. They were very accomodating, letting us use their pool outside the regular posted hours and offering us free late checkout if we wanted it.
