Hotell Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Saraland/North Mobile - Saraland

This hotel is just down the road from the University of Mobile. We used it several times over the five years our daughter attended. It was always competitively priced. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was excellent and the complimentary breakfast was good.

I stayed at this hotel because it had good reviews and I had never stayed at a Microtel before. As expected, the room was quite small, but it worked. Not so good was that though the bed sheet had been washed, it was still stained. Mattress it self was hard/extremely firm. The room also did not have a remote for the TV. The only downside to this hotel was the breakfast selection. Included were a bunch of carbs and a couple fruits. Some protein would be nice! Hotel was clean, room was nice, bed was comfortable. Overall a good overnight stay.

The hotel was outstanding. We were down in the area fishing. There was ample parking and power outlets to charge our batteries. The hotel is located close to food, walmart, and the interstate. If you are up for sight seeing its only about 15 minutes to Mobile and Spanish Fort. I would stay here again.

I had issues with the reservation because the hotel's computer system was down. The friendly customer service agent with Expedia and the extremely helpful hotel staff fixed the issue.

The hotel is located on a cul-de-sac so traffic isnt a issue.Theres a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance(Ruby Tuesday and Wyntzles Seafood).The staff was very friendly and helpful plus the hotel was immaculate. Myself and my girlfriend where very satisfied.Will defenintly stay there again upon my next visit to Mobile.

Jeannie at the front desk was absolutely delightful. She was helpful in giving recommendations, made fresh cookies for us and answered any questions we had. The room was small, but the bed was great, really current decor and attractive colors, nice carpet, all clean and new. We had a fridge and microwave in the room and the room had a windowseat as […] well. Great for stretching out and reading. They had a computer with printer in the lobby which was nice to have. We stayed two nights, I would stay again if the need arises, the room was small but clean. Breakfast was not that good but we do not choose were to stay based on that. Price was very reasonable, ease on and off freeway was good. Service was friendly but they did not do anything special to make our stay better, but all and all if you want a safe clean […] economical place to stay that allows pets, this is the place. The Maids/Room Service was very RUDE. What is the use of having a DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door when Room Service ignore it. If I wanted a WAKE UP...I would have ask the Front desk to do so. Room Service should not knock on the door like they are the POLICE needing to get inside the room.

Since we travel with our children now we have to find nicer hotels to stay in and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern the hotel was. The staff was extremely helpful with providing us with local information. Since we will be traveling to the area again, this will be the hotel we stay in.

I just loved the newness of the place. The decor wash very pretty and functional. The location was ideal for traveling around the city and all adjorning cities because of it's proximity to the interstate highway.

We loved our 1 night stay in Saraland prior to going on our cruise out of Mobile. The hotel manager was so helpful at ensuring we enjoyed our stay....made recommendations for supper, breakfast and how to safely get to Walmart. We really loved the warm hospitality shown to us in this Saraland hotel. We would stay here again for sure!!

The second day, I recived a call from the front desk saying that someone was in my room jumping on the floor. This call came around 6pm. At the time, we were in bed. The only thing that I can attribute this to was my three year old running from the bathroom to the bed. I found this to be a bit aggrivating when I went outside to find other guests having […] a barbque in the parking lot. I told the front desk that noone was jumping on the floor and went ahead with the rest of my stay. The overall stay was good other than this one thing. This was our first stay at a Microtel and I was very impressed. The only problem we had was that our room was non-smoking and you could smell where someone had been smoking. The staff said they had made many attempts to clean the room and remove the smell. Very convenient to get to the Alabama cruise terminal and the hotel even had a shuttle service […] which we found out about while we were staying there. Overall we were very pleased! Läs mer

This hotel was in a good location near the interstate. The lady checking us in was friendly and polite. The hotel was very clean and our room looked nice. However, our room was located on the first floor near enough to the front desk that I was bothered some by the noises after bedtime. Also, the sound of someone walking across the floor of the room […] above was rather loud. We had two queen-sized beds with 3 pillows each, which I appreciated. The beds were comfortable enough. The pillows were big, soft and fluffy--okay for me but not my husband or daughter. The bathroom also was very clean and neatly stocked with towels and washcloths for four people. There was a standup card offering the option of reusing towels and bed linens in an effort to conserve water, etc. for those staying more than one night--a "plus" for those who like to live "green." An above-average breakfast was available: fresh fruit, cold cereal, milk, coffee, juice (didn't like the orange juice at all), instant oatmeal, hot biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, bagels, etc. with a toaster and microwave handy for heating and toasting.
