Vi hade ett stort rum med balkong på 23 våningen, handdukarna byttes dagligen och det var nära till metron på Dapuqiao. Vi hade ingen frukost men det fanns vattenkokare i rummet så vi kunde fixa kaffe och te. På en tvärgata mittemot hotellet lagades frukost som kostade bara några yuan. Taikang Lu och Tianzifang med små butiker och mysiga caféer låg […] i närheten. Hotellet låg bra till, det var lätt att ta sig runt med metron. The room was very nice. But all the personal could not speak english, so that was not good. We find a telephone number to the massage in a brochur on the room but non answer the phone there,after talking to the personal we undestood it was the hairsaloon who did it. My stay overall was quite satisfactory. I stayed for a week at this hotel. This hotel feels rather a serviced apartment (not a hotel). This is the feeling you get in the lobby area. Firstly , This hotel does NOT have a swimming pool or gym as advertised. My wife and I stayed here for 13 nights and were very disappointed on all aspects which was nothing like the advertised hotel. The room was dirty , we had a toilet blockage on the first day which took 12 hours to repair and the standard of cleaning was basic to useless despite […] complaining. Views from the hotel were of other buildings in close proximity so if you want a view of shanghai --- it isnt here !! This Raymont is on the north side of a large apartment complex from another Raymont on the south side. I have stayed at both. This one is in better shape than the other. Close to shopping areas and bus/subway. It's serviced apartment style lodging. Some of the rooms are located in next building so it can be slightly inconvenient. Clean room, the suite I booked is spacious with kitchenette. Overall good place to stay if it is close to where you want to be.

The hotel staff was cordial and most knew English. The bed was very comfortable which you don't always get in Asia. The water for the shower/bath never got warm enough...luke warm was about it.

Overall, it was very good. Our one complaint is that we booked a room with a double bed, while our friends booked a room with two single beds, and both rooms were the same price. However, our room was much smaller, and considering that we paid the same price, we expected the rooms to be of a similar size.

The hotel is somewhat well located close to the Subway. I asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking one, it was clean and it did not smell but after 2 days, I could smell the smoke from other rooms. It is a bit run down. Would never stay there again never been so upset with my choice of stay, service was terrible didn't help me at all, there was no gym or pool in the hotel it was a 5min walk, breakfast was very ordinary, and the room was not clean there was damage throughout the room and hair all over the bathroom floor. I was not able to control my A/C from my room, I was on the 33rd floor of this hotel. It was so hot in the room, I called front desk 4 times before someone was finally sent to my room. I was thinking maybe the A/C was broken, but the man came in and checked and said everything was okay. We stayed 8 days there and enjoyed our stay. The front desk is always busy but they are nice and polite. The rooms are small but in good condition. The only issue is that central air sometimes were too strong. We had to open our windows at night.
