When I arrived at reception, they said they dis not have my booking, it took me 20 minutes of phone calls and sending emails to finally get them to check me in. This was not good after a 3 hour drive. Could not find any information regarding a cooked breakfast, only 5 pounds for 3mini pastries. This was the second time we had stayed at Latimer Place. The first time was fantastic. We had a great room and it was clean. This time we arrived to be told that there were no double rooms. Eventually they found us a disabled room. This was dirty. The shower curtain was moldy and the floor was dirty with dirty grouting on the tiles. Came here with my partner. The hotel was beautiful. We loved the drive in, the hotel looked stunning. The staff are truly lovely. Receptionists were brilliant, when one saw me putting a scarf on to cover my hair from the rain he offered one of the hotel umbrella's to me. The staff at breakfast were brilliant. The service was much better than any Hilton […] I have ever stayed at. I didn't have lunch or dinner as the prices were a bit steep. I decided to venture out and after about 20 min drive to High Wycombe I found a lovely Indian called Zara Indian & Seafood. I defo recommend anyone who stays here to go there. The Gym had a variety of equipment. It was small but ok for a hotel. Swimming pool, sauna etc were great. The only really bad thing about the hotel is the paper-thin walls. Every morning we were woken by people walking past, or next door plugging in their hair dryer. All in all. Lovely hotel. Will come again. Läs mer

The bedroom was large and very comfortable. It was clean apart from the main light fitting which was very dusty. The breakfast was ok. On the whole the hotel is very nice although some areas were in need of some maintenance. The breakfast was ok.

At first I was worried, because we did have a hard time finding it (and again the second night too). However, the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The room had everything we needed. It was in a rural area, but very convenient to where we were going (a short taxi ride to the underground/trains system to get into London, and not too far of a drive […] from Oxford. I would definitely stay there again. We also had a good price, although I am not sure if that was a special price or their usual rates. Läs mer

A beatiful old building which has been cleverley developed into a large conference and training centre. The accomodation is designed for attendees of conferences and training courses, the rooms are small but well fitted out. The pool area is adequate but please note the gymnasium fascilities consist of a few archaic pieces-2 bikes, 2 cross trainers, […] I power jog ,1running machine, 1 sit up mat and an old telly. Booked this hotel as part of a short break to thorpe Park for my partner's birthday. Ideally located from main motorway networks and gorgeous location set in countryside. Was a little apprehensive after reading some of the inconsistent reviews. Our room was situated in close proximity to reception in the main building, room was clean, large, modern […] & comfortable. We arrived late so did not use the spa/leisure facilities but accessed the main bar area which was great, very quite but large pool tables. Only 30 minutes drie from Thorpe Park so a nice overnight stay before heading into main m25 area. Would recommend. Läs mer

the hotel for the standard stated was very poor, we move rooms as the room was dirty and in a poor condition, in general the hotel needed a deep clean and in some cases refurbisment, the chair just outside the pool room was very dirty

Good service. Bed seemed hard. Breakfast choice was good with plenty of variety. Chess Valley view was stunning!

Nice hotel. Surroundings good. Noisy in the outer building where we were as it was a long wide corridor booked for an in house wedding so were woken up early by people sitting on sofas outside our room talking. Best to avoid statying in this converted stables part if looking for a quiet retreat.
