Hotell Dukes Hotel - London

Our stay in London was a big hit thanks to the choice of Dukes Hotel. The hotel is situated in a quite courtyard in St James very close to Green Park and everything.. We arrived to the hotel in taxi and as soon as we stopped, our luggage was quickly transported from the car into the lobby without us even noticing it. After the check-in we were offered […] a quick tour of the hotel and shown where we would find the restaurant, bar spa & gym etc. We had booked a Luxury room for 3 nights and were not disappointed in any way. The room was approximately 20 square metres with a spacious bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like babies. Thanks to the actual location we could sleep with an open window, witch was completely impossible when we visited New York a couple of months ago. Every evening the staff prepared our room for the night. Fresh towels if we needed that, new mineral water, arranging our slippers by the bed, picking up and folding our clothes that we had spread around the room. My partner had given me treatments as a birthday present, and these took place in the Spa witch is located at the lower ground floor. A very nice and cute girl did my hands and feet. The small and cosy restaurant was an oasis of calm and tranquillity where we were spoiled and pampered. We chose to have dinner at the hotel the last evening and the food was good and well prepared and served by a smiling and charming staff. To sum up all our impressions the Duke Hotel has earned every one of its five stars. Everyone was so polite and courteous, and always with a smile. Service with world class I would say. My partner and I had stayed in hotels with similar standard in both Amsterdam and New York, but this experience was outstanding. Thank you Duke, we most definitely will be back Läs mer

I absolutely, loved this hotel. The room was beautiful with high quality bedding. A large tub to soak in after a long day. The staff was extremely nice and eager to please. So glad I chose the Dukes Hotel......

Dukes is our favorite hotel in London. You can't beat the service and the location. You walk out the front door and are on Jermyn St. or Piccadilly in 5 minutes. The rooms are small but have everything one needs. Their queen bed is our full bed so make sure you ask for the right size. Of course they're known for their martini bar.which is classic. Dukes is a wonderful find. Having been referred by a colleague, we stayed there on a short run to London. 4 doors down is the place Chopin stayed, so there's history here. The place is quaint, tucked off the path, not a lot of traffic, yet within walking distance to great restaurants, the Tube and everything we wanted to see on a first visit to Lon […] don. Läs mer

Excellent service...bar serves the best martini in London

I got a standard room. The location is great, the hotel is quaint but I was disappointed in how small the room was - barely room for luggage and my wife and I. Also the bedspread was stained and the carpet was stained. Service was great.

Very quaint hotel in the middle of London. Close to Buckingham Palace and parks.

The hotel was outstanding. The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were good except for the bed. The bed seemed old and had the sleep depresions to prove it. ITs prime location was good for sights, attractions, shopping, the underground, and some dinning and pubs.

bel hôtel, très bien situé en plein coeur de piccadilly, seulement la chambre standard est une peu petite pour un 5*. Pour le prix de la chambre j'ai trouvé que ca manquait de service (ex : TV payante sauf pour les chaines anglaises ... ). le petit déjeuner est hors de prix 40 £ par personne. le personnel est très agréable et acceuillant.

We really enjoy our stay in dukes hotel. People are very welcoming and nice. The cocktail bar is awesome (a bit expensive but its worth it). The hotel has an "english touch" which iwe appreciate (far from the typical big hotel chains) The restaurant is very good for lunch and not that expensive with regards to the hotel luxury. Only 2 critisisms : […] the TV system is horrible to use (GUI is so slow and the tuner is always freezing), the english breakfast is good value but too hearty for a normal person they sould have warned us when we ordered it (plus the vienoiserie were not that good). Globally speaking, very were enthousiastic at the end of our stay, There is no way we go elsewhere if one day we come back to London. Läs mer

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und entspricht allen Anforderungen eines 5* Hotels. Einzige kleine Anmerkung, die Heizung ist ziemlich laut und wir konnten sie deshalb nicht während der Nacht laufen lassen. Concierge und Staff at Reception waren äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Excellent emplacement vers Picadilly et Soho, mais ne vous attendez pas à un 5 Etoiles de grande calsse. correct sans plus, les chambres sont petites et sans canapé coin de jours...
