Härligt poolområde och vårt rum på första våningen helt nära poolen gjorde att vi på ett enkelt sätt kunde nyttja detta. Ljudet från trafiken på väg 75 var dock något störande vid vistelse vid poolen, inget av detta hördes i rummet !

It was what I've come to expect from La Quinta: clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. No frills but no complaints either. The pool and jacuzzi were nice after a long day of fishing.

Check was a bit slow but when I arrived at the room and opened the door, there appeared to be someone already occupying the room: bathroom disorderly and towels on floor, bed unmade and clothes strewn about. This is the second time my wife and I stayed at this Hotel for multiple nights. Everything has always been as it should be. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast and coffee available 24/7.

Bernie at the front desk was exceptional. He always greeted us with a smile and cookies in the evening. We stayed 10 nights. Although our room was clean, housekeeping varied from day to day. Very thin walls. One night had a dog whining and barking for several hours. All four nights the person next to me left their TV on all night and you could clearly hear it. Thank God for white noise machines. Room was clean with the exception of stains on one set of sheets in unused bed. Convenient location for food and sights. Had to travel to Port Charlotte for family business and our stay was very pleasant. Accommodations very nice for the price. Breakfast was better than expected, except when Monday came things were a bit different; offerings weren't as good and slightly rude staff packed things up early. Other than that, very satisfied!

The hotel was located close to the freeway, but far enough to avoid noise. Not real close to the harbor. The hot tub was temporarily out of order, but we did not have time to use it anyway. Nice clean rooms; no odors; nice breakfast included.

Stayed at this hotel for 5days 6nights. Staff was courtious and very helpful. Rooms were clean and fairly new. Beds comfortrable. We also had a Pet Dog staying with us and had no problem with the staff or areas to walk her in. Close to resturants and shopping. My wife and I will stay here again.

My family of 5 got in around 11:30 pm, so slept in. Thought continental breakfast was until 10am, so walked down at 9:30am. Everything was gone, but the front desk clerks noticed us and both came out to help. They made time to serve us whatever we wanted and were so friendly. The room was very nice for the price and everyone was so kind.

The staff at La Quinta Port Charlotte Florida were superb, from the manager down through the reception staff to the janitor. The hotel is well situated, clean and very good overall. The only crticism I have is that, unbelieveably, pets are allowed in rooms. This is a filthy, unhygenic practice. When doting, selfish owners allow their dogs to be on beds […] and in the hotel room and other, non pet owners, many with young children have to follow them.Dogs sniff around excreta and other germ laden areas and can cause very serious illness to young children, even blindness. One owner was feeding her dog from the breakfast bar, others were running around unsupervised in upstairs corridors. I cannot believe in such a health conscious country, that the health authorities allow this filthy practice of allowing pets, mainly dogs, in hotel rooms. Credit due to the management, it is not their fault as it is the La Quinta hotel chain practice to allow this horrid practice. Läs mer

We had a hot breakfast every morning with a variety of choices of other cold items to choose. Everyone was very friendly and the location was convenient to other locations as it was close to I75. The only complaint was we had a room next to the soft drink machine and ice machine which got noisy at times.

I was beginning to wonder if the manager, Danny, ever left the place- he always seemed to be there and was always super helpful and friendly. This hotel was a very good value for the money. I stayed there on a business trip and was very happy with how spacious the room was. It was set up with nice sized living room area with a large work table as the room divider. The room had modern finishes that you would expect in a hotel costing more. My only frustration was unreliable internet service. […] WiFi was not working so the manager provided a network cable. He spent 30 minutes with the internet provider trying to get the internet up and running.
