Från hotellets entré är det cirka tre meter till nedgången till metron. Många linjer går här, även bussar så man tar sig snabbt till alla delar av stan. Finns gott om caféer och restauranger i närheten. Rummet var okej, normalstort för att vara i en europeisk storstad, luftkonditioneringen fungerade bra. Fransk balkong mot en skräpig innergård. Ingen […] minibar. Gott om eluttag. Badrummet hade icke låsbara garderobsdörrar istället för riktig dörr. Badrummet fräscht men mycket dåligt tryck på varmvattnet. Det finns avgiftsbelagt internet via kabel och WiFi. När vi skulle köpa WiFi-kod i receptionen sa personalen att det inte fungerade på vår våning, men det fungerade, hade utmärkt mottagning. Vid ett tillfälle kom vi till rummet sen eftermiddag, möts av en man i rummet. Han har ingen uniform eller namnskylt och pratar mycket dålig engelska. Han säger att det är hans rum och visar ett nyckelkort. Vi ber honom följa med till receptionen men han försöker smita flera gånger. Receptionen uppger att han arbetar på hotellet. Det hela verkar mycket suspekt, jag har aldrig förr varit med om att personal går in i gästernas rum vid underliga tider, utan synbar anledning och dessutom helt civilklädda. Det saknades i varje fall ingenting ur rummet och där fanns både dator, smycken och klockor så han var säkert inte där för att stjäla, men hotellet borde verkligen se till att deras personal bär uniform eller åtminstone namnskylt och att de kan förklara vad de håller på med. We came back to the room at 4pm and it wasn't clean at all the lady came 30 minutes later asking if we want it to be cleaned, poor service, expensive breakfast. They wanted 15 euros, in london same chain of hotel breakfast was complimentary

Located near metro and about 30 mins or more from most attractions. Lots of restuarants nearby.

I visited Paris with a friend and we decided to stay close to Gare du Nord out of convenience (came on the Eurostar). It was an excellent position of the hotel in terms of easy access to Gare du Nord, and easy walk down to the river and a good tube stop just outside the hotel entrance. Hi All, this is a very good hotel that is just above the station and is safe and sound. Rooms are clean and modern. Service of staff is professional with good english. Internet was not free. 5 Euros for 1 hour. ( pricey) In room internet was wired and not wireless. So if you are visiting paris with family this is a great hotel because it does not […] involve any additional walking. But remember there are stairs to climb out of station or metro to get to the hotel. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. No bugs, or unclean sheets etc... Location was safe. Again no lawns or grand reception. Just functional and good. they give you the room in the morning itself. Forget everything bad you may read from a while ago. STAY HERE!!! We had a lovely time, we enjoyed our well connected hotel. The metro was at our doorsteps, the breakfast was wonderful, service divine, and a great restaurant with wonderful wine and cheese next door. We WIll repeat!

We have stayed here several times and always been very happy with the accommodation .....rooms are clean and adequate and the staff are extremely helpful.....it is ideal for travelling in from the airport ,being about 5 minutes from the GAre du nord ...with the hotel being right next to the bus terminal we are going to try transfer by bus on our next […] visit ...it is an ideal base if you are sight seeing as you. An easily walk to all the major attractions ...you are also just next to the bus station and can catch a bus to almost anywhere....there are quality restaurants just next to the hotel if you do not want to,go out at night ....we would recommend the STrasbourgeoise which offers exceptional food at a very good price ...we would definitely recommend this hotel. Brilliant service from each and every member of staff.They were extremely helpful in recommending pla ces to eat and helping to arrange tours. We were never push into booking any of the tours. Would highly recommended the hotel.perfect location too.

This hotel was great. Across from East station and within 5-10 minutes walking to the North train station and good restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff made our Paris experience extra nice. Hotel lacks a foyer and proper bar/lounge facilities but, there are numerous bars/brasseries and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. It is well placed next to 2 main railway terminii and, has very good Metro and RER connections. The rooms are adequate without being luxurious. Good hotel to stay. Close to train station. We requested for extra bed and somehow they didn't receive that request so they upgraded our standard room to executive room at no charge. So that was really helpful.

I stayed here for 1 night. I knew it was not central but chose it for its closeness to the gard du nord, it was very convenient in that respect. The hotel is okay, nothing special. The room was okay, not big, just okay (I had a superior/executive room). The bed was great, medium firm, no problems there. The aircon initially blew out room temp air, […] would not cool, the room was hot (and it was mid-november). When I returned late evening from Dinner, the aircon would not work at allwork all, not clear if broken, or just on a money saving timer. As a result I had to sleep with the windows open inorder to be comfortable, but that of course meant noise from the outside - not a good nights sleep. Aircon did not work the next morning either. The bathtub was very narrow (and I'm not fat), could barely sit in it and move my arms. The bath tub had no plug, so a bath was impossible anyway (again not clear if this was a money saving measure or not, but surely the cleaner must have known this if not). Shower fittings were loose on wall. Toilet roll holder was loose on wall. Paint flaking off doors and walls in bathroom. Generally the room decor was 50% modern/uptodate & 50% tired shabby. Bearing in mind this was a "superior/executive" room, I would have expected a lot better, and be able to have a bath and use air-con. Goodness knows what it would have been like in a standard room. My husband, daughter, and I arrived in Paris via the ICE train, and the location of this hotel couldn't have been more convenient. It is very literally right across the street from the train/metro station. We had complete access to the entire city from this location, which was fabulous! It was more expensive than what I would have liked to pay, but […] was only slightly more expensive than the other hotels in the neighborhood- with WAY better reviews. I worried a bit about noise, due to the location, but none of the three of us had any trouble falling/staying asleep at night. The only (very minor) complaint I had was that the air freshener in our room was quite strong. We kept the window open as much as possible to air it out, though, and it helped quite a bit. Close to the Gare Du Nord train station (Eurostar) and the Gare de L'Est metro stop is in front of the hotel. Was there on a Paris whirlwind day trip, and it's location to train and metro made it a cinch. Clean, super comfortable beds, and smelled delicious. A group of us stayed here. Myself, my partner & child were booked for a room with a travel cot and . We were given a tiny room with no travel cot. We rang down and they brought up the cot which was put in the entrance way to the room which was a serious fire hazard. We had to leave our buggy outside the door as we could barely move in the room it was […] so small. The staff seemed disinterested and not very friendly. The location is great and the rest of the hotel was lovely but they could have given us a bigger room as ours was the smallest of the three rooms and we were the only ones with a small child, buggy etc. Also one of the bar staff kept getting our order wrong so we weren't sure what was going on the room number! Nice stay at this hotel.

Staff was most helpful in directions and questions we had about the area. Helped us with Subway, cafes, etc. Our room was quite large for Paris. Beds were VERY comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was way over priced.

this hotel is nice and located just across from a subway station and hence very convenient to explore Paris. there were few nice restaurants and although the neighborhood isn't that great, but it is typical for that area. there is a very early breakfast deal (i think midnite to just before 7:00am) for 4 euro and includes coffee, juice and croissant/pastries, […] which is a great deal if you happen to be awake that early or got in late. over-all typically european (small room and bath) but you dont expect to be in the room all the time. dont take rooms fronting the street/subway station and request for the back area. Unfortunately our experience was spoilt by the theft of my wife's purse while working on the computer in the hotel foyer. Two young girls came into the foyer asking for money and snatched the purse. The location of this hotel is so convenient if travelling into/out of Paris by train at either Gare de l'Est or Gare Nord. The hotel room was quite small, but was clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Would definately recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again.

The location is outstanding for experienced travelers, directly across the street from a major train station (Gare de L'Est) and adjacent to a Metro station. Very convenient for travel within Paris and to other cities. Good restaurants in the same block as the hotel. The surrounding neighborhood does not offer much, but it is very easy to travel anywhere […] in Paris via the Metro. the hotel was conveniently located within 5 min walk of the Eurostar train station. a subway connection was outside the front door. room was clean and met basic needs. friendly, helpful staff. rooms had electricity adaptors for british in wall.

Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and good, the breakfast was good. The hotel location opposite the Gare De L' Est is very convenient and in close proximity to the Gare du Nord, which has a connection by RER express train to the CDG (Degaul International Airport). Staff very helpful would stay at this Hotel if in Paris again. The premises are a bit tired could do with a good clean i.e. air conditioning ducts (dust) wall tiles remove stain.Air conditioning was not working to capacity after alerting staff was partly repaired. very convenient if catching an early morning train - surrounding area a bit sleazy. Good jazz bar round the corner to eat plus a couple of other places Internet connectivity wildly overpriced - the prices charged make buying your own pay as you go 3G modem an attractive option

The hotel was situated directly opposite the station as you exit Gare De L'Est station, and only a very short walking distance from the main station Eurostar station Gare De Nor. The hotel, one of the largest hotels in the area, was very clean, and the staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The service was first class and I certainly would […] stay there on my return to Paris. Many of the main attractions in Paris were within walking distance similar to distances within central London, so the Hotel location is perfect. Also because the hotel is only across the road from Gare De L'Est, one felt completely safe when returning at night coming out the station with the hotel immediately outside the station. Not a 5 star hotel but a very decent 4 star. Handy location as we arrived at Gare de l'est, however it is a rough area. Hotel very clean, air conditioning was quiet and very efficient. Staff helpful.

Even though the Metro is right outside the door, it takes more than 25 minutes to get anywhere and usually one or two transfers. Also, if traveling in the summer, the hotel's air conditioning does not work and the only relief from the heat is an open window, which leaves you open to street noise and the chance of birds flying into your room. If this is a location your like bcause you need to be close to the train stations then this is a good hotel, however, I do not recommend it if you want to be in Paris to enjoy the "City of Lights." We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Overall we were very happy with the rooms and services, especially taking into account that we brought our toddler along. Likes:- - New, clean rooms.
