Hotell Hampton Inn New York - 35th Street - Empire State Building - New York

Bra och prisvärt hotell i närheten av det mesta. Bra med frukost på hotellet men en väldigt tråkig "matsal". Skulle kunna piffas upp lite. All personal var trevliga och hjälpsamma. Kommer säkert att rekomendrera hotellet till mina vänner som är på väg till New York..

Efter att ha läst en massa recensioner över hotell i NY förväntar man sig absolut ingenting. Hotellet blev därför en mycket positiv överraskning. Rent, bra sängar, bra badrum, vänlig personal, frukost och ständig tillgång på kaffe i lobbyn. Det enda vi möjligen saknade var ett kylskåp (å andra sidan fanns en kaffebryggare) och på minussidan var också […] att frukostbuffen inte fylldes på i samma hastighet som den åts upp. I det avseendet släpade sig personalen fram med några få smörpaket i handen i varje vända. Den som måste ha grovt bröd och grönsaker till frukost kommer att bli besviken - men vi som älskar att leva onyttligt några dagar och äta bagels, jordnötssmör, sylt och kaffe under en helg trivdes gott! Min systerdotter (17 år) och jag har precis tillbringat 1 vecka i New York och bott på Hampton Inn, Empire State Building. Det var toppen, alla är vänliga och seviceminded, rummen litet små, men sängarna underbara! Frukosten amerikansk så klart, men fräsch fruktsallad varje dag. Kan rekommendera detta Hotell. Bra läge, rent och fräscht och inte minst frukostbuffén drar upp omdömet. Vi bodde fyra personer (med 2 stora barn 12 och 16) i ett rum med två dubbelsängar vilket fungerade bra. Fri tillgång till internet och ett helt ok gym är också ett plus.

Funktionellt och praktiskt med tillmötegående personal. Frukosten fungerade mkt bra och varierades en hel del. Men praktiskt att frukost ingick och att det fanns på hotellet. Temperaturen i frukostmatsalen kunde höjas om man sa till. Få rum på varje våningsplan - lugnt och ostört. Mkt centralt läge i Midtown. Lite bullrig AC på rummet dock. Mycket nära […] t-banan. Mycket bra. Snabb incheckning, bra frukost, nära till Macy´s och tunnelbana. Lite små rum men fräscht och rent. Bo där!

Fräscht rum med stora sköna sängar. Rummet hade bla aircondition, strykbräda, och platt TV. Det fanns tillgång gratis trådlöst bredband. Det är inte alla hotell i New York som har frukost, men detta har det. Här finns bla färsk fruktsallad och möjlighet att göra pancakes. Det var dock väldigt kallt i frukost lokalen som är en del av en vinterträdgård. […] Hotellet ligger centralt nära Macys och nära tunnelbanan. Inte långt att gå till Times Square. Förvaring av värdesaker i receptionen fungerar utmärkt. Vi checkade ut några timmar innan vi skulle åka och då förvarade hotellet bagaget, mot kvitto, och fixade taxi till avresan. Mycket bra, prisvärt hotell med utmärkt läge på midtown, Manhattan. Rent, trevlig personal, frukost inkluderat. Nära till allt, mycket bra om man kommer in via Newark att ta tåget till Penn station, fem minuters promenad och man är på hotellet. Tunnelbana inom 100m. Rekommenderas!

Very clean, 50-feet from subway, few blocks to Times Square. Close to everything.

Staff was wonderful. The view of the esb from our room was awesome

great location. Rooms were very clean though typically "city small". Every staff person I encountered was polite and engaging. Very noticeable and made a difference. Breakfast was included and was the usual Hampton Inn fare of hot and cold options. We'd stay there again.

One of the cleanest bathrooms for a NY hotel. Means alot to me as I like to take baths.

Clean and convenient to Port Authority , MSG , walk to St.Pats . restaurants, Herald Square. Great view of Empire State Building. Will stay there again soon. Staff was very pleasant and professional. Immediate assistance. very satisfied.

The hotel was nice, however the elevator situation was horrendous. We were on the 14th floor and had to wait, often times, to take the elevator down. The hotel has two elevators but they were so crowded you had to wait for a less crowded one.

Even though the hotel was doing remodeling, the staff did their best to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast room had lots of room and a good variety of food. The room was a bit small but comfortable. The only problem was that the wi-fi wasn't working well, but that probably related to the renovations that were taking place in the reception area. This hotel is centrally located and near subway lines to get anywhere in Manhattan easily. The Inn was under construction in the lobby when we were there, but otherwise the experience was nothing but good. The personnel was excellent.

This hotel is very close to the customer we want to visit in the New York City, abd it is really very convenient.

This was a great little hotel in a brilliant location. The rooms were very comfy and surprisingly spacious with an unreal view of the Empire State Building. All the staff were friendly and helpful..we'd defo stay here again

The hotel was under renovation but the staff were very friendly and customer oriented. Room was better than I expected. Hotel was within walking distance to most points of interest. Subway station right outside the door.

Room small, but clean and very conveniently located. My favorite thing about this hotel was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. I left my prescription eye glasses (expensive) in the room and did not realize it until I arrived at the airport. This hotel is in a convenient location, about half a block from the Herald Square subway stop. The lobby was under construction, which somehow was not mentioned when we made the reservation. This hotel is in an excellent location. Extremely close to all the downtown tourist locations, but off the main drag enough to not be too noisy. My only complaint was their super slow elevators - it took 5-10 minutes to get one on the 12tf floor everytime. But when you're on Vacation you have time to burn! :)

so the hotel over all was great the halls leading to the rooms are small lol but in all. the rooms were nice fun times. I realy recommend this hotel especially since the subway / empire state building / and time square. are close by

one night stay for a rangers game. 5 min walk to the garden. the staff was great, the room clean and breakfast was fantastic. parking was close (one block away on 36th) and was reasonable. subway locations just outside the front door also. will definately stay there again.

The location is great -2 blocks away from the Empire State Building. But the comforters were lumpy -like when someone washes polyester comforter and ends up with big lumps all over the place. Wonderful hotel in Manhattan within walking distance to major attractions. Room was very clean, breakfast was delicious, front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was around the corner & easy to find. We enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location. Close to Maceys and good walking distance to Broadway and Times Square. Small room but perfectly adequate. Excellent and helpful staff on the front desk. Nothing was too much trouble!

Honestly you can't beat the service this staff gives to its guest. It's like coming home when you arrive. They make sure all your needs are met and you will feel like you're speaking with old friends upon check in. The hotel is in the middle of it all. Location is excellent. It's easy to walk to Times Square Area or Fifth Avenue shopping. I was there while the hotel was under construction and there was a lot of chaos as they continued to operate. It's a very busy hotel and very busy lobby area. The breakfast is good quality with lots of options, but the crowding makes it a challenge. Fitness room […] is very good and not busy. Conveniently located and clean hotel. Decent buffet breakfast is a plus. Beds were comfortable and clean.

I rented three rooms here for one night. For the money, they weren't bad. They had everything you need and they were clean. My only complaint would be the smell of the room I stayed in on the 11th floor. They were painting the stairwells and the paint fumes pretty much permeated the entire floor. It was pretty strong and not pleasant at all. The smell […] stuck around for out entire stay. If you're a little sensitive to smells, this might keep you awake like it did me. Breakfast was okay, too. They had a pretty good spread of food - eggs, waffles, fruit... The set-up was a disaster, though. It was poorly organized and seating was very limited. Very nice room, very clean & comfortable. Even with the renovations in full swing, everything was clean & the service was wonderful! Highly recommend this hotel & will definitely stay again!

This is a tired hotel undergoing renovations. The workmen started at 6 am and their pounding woke me up. Coffee was lukewarm, breakfast was very sparse and dining room undergoing renovations. Rom was clean, but there are much better values in the area for same or less.

Good central location. Nice variety of breakfast foods in the AM. WIFI in our corner room on the 12th floor was a bit spotty and weak. Only wished this hotel had laundry facilities available.

The hotel is definitely worth it. It's very reasonably priced. The hotel is rather comfortable with a great view of the empire state building. The hotel offers a complementary breakfast (which I never made it too.) and also they have fresh complementary tea and coffee brewing. The staff is very courteous and kind. The rooms are very well maintained.Overall […] the hotel actually enhanced my trip to NY. It is very convieniently located near the shopping district. Also taxi's are constantly in front of the hotel so its easy to access a cab. The only complaint I have is the elevator. Its a very fast moving elevator with a very abrupt stop going up and down. Great location, clean hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast was decent, concierge eager to help. Small rooms, but sizeable beds. No complaints really.
