Hotell Sleep Inn & Suites at Six Flags - San Antonio

We were there for the Fiesta and shopping. Me and the girls had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean and inviting. When we first got to the room it was hot but the air conditioner cooled very quickly. Clean, breakfast could be better!

I am not sure why this hotel is getting such bad reviews. We stayed here for three nights and never had any problems. Our room was very clean. The hotel staff were also very pleasant people. If you are looking to stay in a nice, clean, easy access to Sea World or Riverwalk, I would recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel for my family after much searching because it had a refrigerator and microwave in the room, had no bed bug reports, and was a decent price. When we first got to the hotel I checked for bed bugs. I was happy to see clean sheets and clean mattresses. It is affordable and off of the main highway. The cons are that the pool was freezing (my daughter's lips turned blue), it was over-chlorinated, and the hot tub didn't get hot even though we asked them to turn the heater on. I could understand if this was because there were only a few guests at the hotel (it was April and a weekday). Also, the vending machines are crappy and not working, so bring your own snacks! Mattress on sleeper sofa was awful. You could feel every spring. Our teenage daughter and son ended up sleeping together in one of the beds because of this.

The breakfast is not up to scale. There is no pen or writting pad in the room. If you forgot to bring anything on your trip you can not get any help from this hotel unless you take a trip to the store. for example shower cap

The indoor pool is not heated...the staff will claim it is but the water never gets warm..you have to ask the staff to turn on the hot tub... very clean and very professional staff. not the easiest to get to; but not the worst. great price and great location...

One of the reasons we chose this hotel is because it listed a heated indoor pool. They turn the heat off in the pool during the day, so it never got warm enough to swim in. The first issue I have with this hotel is the staff, they are uninformed, rude, and lazy. The breakfast room was clearly not large enough to accomodate all the guests at one time, the gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude when my family and I decided to sit in the lobby. The complimentary breakfast was poor. They did everything possible to save themselves money. Otherwise a decent run hotel, clean.

The hotel and staff were nice. The pool area was to cold, it was the middle of December and they had the windows open. The hot tub was warm not hot! That is the only complaint I can say about the hotel. Everything was nice and clean, very helpful friendly people that works there.

We enjoyed our stay, very nice, quiet, and not crowded. Close to Six Flags and to restaurants. Will definately come back to stay here in the future

We stayed for the night and it was good. Right off the I-10 freeway and easy to find. Everyone was real helpful. A mostly carb breakfast but good.

Everything was good except there are only 3 towels in the room while we had 4 persons. I tried to call the front desk asking them to bring up one more towel to my room but no one answered the phone. That seemed strange for any hotel not having one person answer the phone when guests needed assistance.

We travel quite frequently and this is the nicest hotel staff that we have encountered. The rooms very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. My only complaint would be that the breakfast did not have a lot of variety, but atleast it was free.

Was visiting family, buying a car, and sight seeing in San Antonio. Hotel is located right along I-10. About 15 - 20 minutes from downtown. Very comfortable rooms. Kids enjoyed the pool. (Only complaint was front hotel lights were off when we arrived. Found this hotel from Hotel.com -- very nice room with good mattresses (very handy after 2 days at Fiesta!) and WONDERFUL indoor pool for kids and hot tub for tired parents! Front desk staff were very nice and helpful! Only thing I would suggest changing is adding to the breakfast in the morning. I was very satisfied with everything during my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The kids love the indoor pool and jacuzzi. The location was great. It only took about three minutes to get to Fiesta Texas. And it is very close to several stores and restaurants. I would definately reccomend this hotel to others.

Good location for seeing Six Flags but don't count on the complimentary breakfast. Overall selection was poor and they were constantly running out of the little they did have. Better off stopping at a fast food place on the way. The room looked nice but when we plugged in our phone charger the oulet came out of the wall and was hanging by just the wires. […] Told front desk on the first day and a note was made of it, it was still hanging when i left on day 3. Housekeeping turned the AC off everyday which made the room very uncomfortable to return to. Not turned down but "OFF". Told the front desk on day one, but same occurrance every day. We stayed at the Sleep Inn & Suites at Six Flaggs for two nights while we visited Fiesta Texas. The staff were very polite and willing to assist us whenever we had a question. The lobby was small but they did have a computer available if you needed it although the printer was not working. We had a double queen room, all the equipment was modern and […] in good working order. The only issue were there were a couple of stains on one of the comforter and there was a wash cloth left in the bathroom that was apparently used by house cleaning. Not a big deal, but it grossed my wife out and the indoor pool had too much chlorine in it in my opinion. The water was so cloudy that you could barely see your feet. the AC worked like a champ and the showers were hot. The beds were actually very comfortable and soft, but you might want to bring extra pillows if you like them firm. each bed had three small pillows that were so soft your head would sink right through them. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and the staff and we will probably stay there again next summer when we return. We were WAY MORE pleased with this hotel versus the Marriott Riverwalk where we had stayed previously which was MUCH more expensive. Läs mer

We've been to Fiest Texas at San Antonio several times and enjoy this hotel. It is conveniently located within a few miles of the park and has a large variety of food establishments closeby. The food establishments include most fast food restaurants and a variety of other chain restaruants. There are also movie theatres and a bowling alley close by. Got the room i wanted, but the only bad thing was the sofabed. it was not comfortable at all. Other than that, everything else was great. Breakfast was awesome. :)

Love it. The price was right and the location was ok. What I liked about it was that it was really clean hotel. I would go back for sure.

This hotel suited mine and my family's needs very well. Location was ideal for our Fiesta Texas vacation and plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. Along with HEB and a pharmacy when we needed them. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, however the hideabed mattress could haev been a bit thicker and comfy, but then again, what sofa […] bed is all that? The employees were really friendly and very accomodating. Informative too. The tickets to Fiesta texas were cheaper there at the hotel then there were on line. That is also a plus. One thing though, the breakfast selection could have been a bit more. Two choices of basic cereal didn't sit real well with my family who would have liked a few more choices. Wonderful experience was staying at this hotel; room was clean (carpets, linen, tub, etc.), beds so comfortable, working/quiet AC and so forth... It is just minutes away from Six Flags Fiesta and shopping malls which represents the value added. A very good hotel for the price, the only low point was the breakfast menu with very limited choices. Revamp that to meet what other hotels offer (Drury Inns) and this would be great hotel. Nice indoor pool/hot tub, very clean overall and friendly, helpful staff.

I picked this hotel because it's close to six flags and has an indoor pool. I was very pleased by the cleanliness of the room/carpet/bathroom. It all looked brand new to me. The room and the bathroom were both very spacious. The pool was great and the kids loved it. The night and morning front desk people were really nice and friendly.

I stayed at this hotel with my two young children on a spring break trip. The staff was friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was located very close to Six Flags Fiest Texas. A great deal and a good location.

I really do not have much to complain about other than the "so called breakfast." The continental breakfast started at 6am through 10am. When my kiddos and I arrived around 9:10am everything was gone. Slowly but surely they replenished but by that time we were anxious to start our day. This is the 4th time we stay at this hotel; no complaints at all. Personnel is very friendly; room very clean in all 4 occasions; good continental breakfast; indoor pool; and everything for a good price... what else can you ask for! I highly recommend this hotel.

We were there in SA for my daughter's graduation. The hotel was close to the UTSA Campus. The hotel and rooms were clean, the service was great, the breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. A great value for the money. I would stay there again without hesitation.

I loved the rooms, the beds were highly comfortable. Service was absolutely cheerful and speedy.

Pretty decent hotel. It was tucked behind some other hotels but I called and the staff gave me good directions. Lobby is beautiful. Rooms look like they belong to another hotel. You can tell they spent the majority of the money on the lobby..(lol). Me, my son, and nephew loved the hotel room. I am sooooo big on cleanliness and this one definitely worked for us. We only stayed one night after spending a day at Six Flags. I am very picky about hotel rooms and this one was a winner. I would definitely stay here again.
