Hotell Novotel Geneve Centre - Geneva

Allt mkt bra trevlig personal, bra frukost. Har aldrig haft ett så litet rum Mina goda vänner hade mkt trevliga o stora rum så jag var besviken på rumets storlek.

Toppfint, mycket prisvärt hotell med fräsch och trevlig atmosfär. Dyr restaurang med god mat och oerfaren personal. Utmärkt garage med hiss till alla våningsplan. Ligger också bra till i förhållande till sjön och flygplatsen. Men, tyvärr i lite otäcka kvarter. Strippklubbar, skumma figurer i gathörnen, med mera.

vi bodde på novotel med familjen. bra läge men inte så roliga kvarter, det första vi möts av på gatan är prostituerade typ 40st i kvarteret. själva hotellet var bra med trevlig personal och rent osv.

Great hotel with a very good location. Only irritation thing is that they charge with an extra tax at checkout. Seems like all hotels in Geneva do the same ..... Ps. Ask for a free travel pass at the front desk. We got one and that gave us free acess to all public communication within the Geneva area

The Hotel is very clean and the staff were helpful. Free internet was bonus. While the location was convenient it was in the Red district. I had to pay an extra CHF 5 for taxes which I was surprised as I thought you had charged me the full amount. One other problem was that no window could be opened for fresh air. Good service, great bed, boring neighbourhood to the one side, but the lovely Lake Geneva just 500 meters away. The hotel itself is quite standard but the rooms are nice

Front desk were nice and friendly.

Hotel is very clean and convenient to all. The price was very good.

Good place to stay and easy to get into city. had a bad night sleep however due to room being overly hot and airconditioning not really working. The person next door had their t.v on so load and it kept us awake until 5am!!! Got up at 6.30am and used the gym which was good. Staff helpful on arrival.

Me and my sons stayed for one nigth. We got an extra bed,but had to ask for extra covers.

Hotel was good, clean and the personell was friendly. There are some really nice places for breakfast and food in general. Just to add that it is situated near the red light district/area of Geneva what we realised when we were there.

A family with 2 kids, we stayed 1 night at the Novotel and it was quite different to some of the bad reviews made by some of the previous guests. It was quite a nice hotel, situated in a very convenient location. Clean, modern and very comfortable. Staff were very polite and helpful too. Hotel was good value, only complaint would be the lack of parking, had to pay 30 franc to park in an underground lot.

Not far from downtown, but not a very nice area to walk at night with kids (street ladies and suspicious men we were not expecting in Geneve...). If you walk to the right side or stay at hotel, it is very good.

Clean hotel with slow but polite service. Breakfast buffet uninspiring and spoiled by manager harassing the Asian floor staff rudely. No soul. No charm. An inn at the price of a star class hotel. Either pay a bit more for a hotel near the lake or stay in a less expensive hotel and eat out elsewhere

The hotel is nice, close to the sights but in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is friendly. What impressed us most was the hotel manager taking us to the train station in hi personal car when the taxis went on a strike and we were at the risk of missing our international train. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel. Walking distance to train station. To hotel is located in a bad surrounding. Still a very nice hotel and we have stayed there several times.

breakfast poor and bed and pillows terrible. Environment not safe and comfortible. noisy until dawn.

Chose this hotel as they said they have a gym. They did have a multitude of cardio machines but the one weights machine they do have is broken, and i've since been told it's been broken for months. The rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable beds. The food was ok'ish, my steak was overcooked twice and the price of food in the hotel was pretty high, […] but then this is a hotel in Geneva. This hotel was clean, but the bed was hard and sheets scratchy. The neighborhood also seemed a bit sketchy, though there were a few recommended nightlife locations close by. Close enough to the train station, though more than a ten minute walk to the nicer areas. Wasn't bad if on a budget, but otherwise, I'd stay somewhere else.

Novotel - has a decent spa area downstairs if you bring your trunks. I stayed first floor, which had a strong smoke odour, odd considering it was non smoking. Shower was good and strong. Bath was fine. Bed was fine. Would have done with some fresh air... Only issue is make sure you book your taxis at the front desk, the line out the front isnt a taxi […] line - but an already booked line of cabs. Läs mer

The surround area of the hotel is very dangerous. Not recommend for stay with children.

We stayed there with two kids and after checking in, we used the free transportation tickets you get at the front desk to walk down to the lake and take the ferry across to the old city. It was so beautiful to see all the sights from the lake, then we walked back. The hotel is perfectly situated and I would stay there again for sure.

The hotel itself I cannot fault. It was nice and I enjoyed the stay but beware that it is in the red light district and neighbourhood did not feel great. A close walk to the main train station, the Geneva lake and to the city. The only issue we had was that they took a deposit from us on the credit card even though the booking had been paid in full […] on hotels.com. This was frustrating as the money was not released back to our card before our return home (2 weeks) which in turn "used up" some of our spending money. Clean double queen room but small. Free internet was nice and we got a free transit card for each guest. Relatively inexpensive continental breakfast. Video games on main floor for kids (free) and air conditioning worked well. Close to lake. Iron / board has to be requested but staff were nice. No microwave which means eating more expensive meals in […] restaurants (but if you look carefully in the neighbourhood, there are some reasonable ones). They let us use the bar fridge for kids foods which was very nice of them. Läs mer

A fifteen minute walk from the train station, the Novotel Geneva centre is in a terrific location for touring central Geneva. the hotel is a short walk to the shores of the lake where boats, bikes, and walking promenades are located. the rooms in the Novotel are large and well appointed. We were on a city break and travelling with our 2 young children...this hotel is located very near transport (especially from the airport) and also a quick 10 minutes will get you to the water, buses, trams, etc. The rooms were in good condition and the overall hotel is good. The area as described in other posts is not the greatest as there are ladies […] of the evening out 24 hours a day and plainly visible to all. If that will bother you than you should look somewhere else...with that said we never felt unsafe and once out of the couple of block area everything was fine. The rate was good and it was a convenient location to all of the transport...would probably look elsewhere to stay next time if we were with our kids...if it was just the 2 of us would stay here no problem. The Novotel is easily accessible from the main train station (Cornavin), close to the lake, shopping and good restaurants and also very quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean and it's VERY nice to have toothpaste and razor offered in the bathrooms, as these are the two items which are not allowed on carry-on baggage. Very comfortable stay. Free internet corner and a great sauna. The staff were also very helpful. Would very much recommend this hotel.

Not good value for money, though the location is quite convenient for the railway station. It is interesting that they offer you tickets for free transportation on public transport but add a city tax to the bill when checking out.

After a horrible experience at another hotel with a rude staff I moved to the Novotel Geneve Center.The staff is very courteous and very helpful. It's close to everything and very affordably priced. I've stayed there about once a month for the past 3 months since my initial visit. My only complaint was that the last time, the 7th floor smelled bad. […] Like there was an untreated water leak or something. I'll be back in a few weeks to see. It is very noisy althought it is not located in a busy street. Poor sound proof insulation...

A great hotel in a beautiful city. The only problem was the parking. The car park under the hotel is only 1.75 mtrs and two cars that I know of at our time of arrival had to find parking elsewhere. Will go in on the train next time.

Nice hotel but if you walk down Rue De Berne directly from train-station, you walk through the red light district of Geneva. Although amusing, not expected as something leading to a 4-star hotel.
