This was a cute hotel and the staff were extremely friendly. The furnishings were fairly basic (and no mini fridge) but clean and very comfortable.

We arrived to find no one in the lobby. If we hadn't arranged our stay and paid thru Hotels.com, we certainly would have left after 10 minutes of calling unanswered phones. The lobby was very nice, and clean. Once someone finally arrived to check us in, he wasn't sure where our room was, but we eventually found it. Very funkily decorated. Bright colors, […] that aren't normally put together, but I happen to be a fan of funky...however I wasn't a fan of the funky smell. Quite a heavy smell of mildew in the room. The bathroom had mildew stains, which were pretty gross, but I think (hope) they were indeed stains. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet, so no complaints there. We went to get our breakfast (that the evening clerk had said would be set out at 6:30) at 8:00, and there was nothing. Not even coffee! We, along with other guests were informed that there was a McDonalds nearby. I saw that this was a more than 4 star rated hotel and that it was reasonably priced, conveniently located and rooms were available and booked before looking at reviews. That was a mistake!! We checked in and found our room very clean but not 1 picture on the wall, no bedskirt and no bedspread! Went to the front desk and told her our room was not 'done'. She came to look inspect the room and told us it was fine. When asked about the bedskirt, we were asked 'You want a bedskirt?' and brought in a 'fitted' sheet and proceeded to put that […] on the box spring! Weird! Very, very old TV also. Based on this, we decided to stay with friends and did not stay the 2 nights we paid for at this hotel! Looksreally nice on the outside, and they have remodelled some but something just isn't right! Very clean and the pictures of the room was spot on. I will stay there again and recommend this hotel to all.

CLEAN STANDERD DBBL. NON SMOKING ROOM. I HAD "BOOKED" A SMOKING ROOM.TURNS OUT THE HOTEL IS ALL NON SMOKING! I GUESS THE GUY WORKING THE NIGHTSHIFT "FORGOT" TO TELL ME THAT! AHTER A 14 HR. DRIVE I WAS NOT VERY HAPPY. THE CLERK ONDUTY WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND OFFERED TO FIND ME ANOTHER HOTEL. BUT I DECIDED TO STAY. THEY KNEW THE AREA AND HAD MAPS WITH POINTS […] OF INTREST AND PLACES TO EAT. CLOSE TOO LOWE'S,SAM'S & A WAL-MART( THE KID P/U & RETURN SPOT FOR DIVORCED FAMILY'S) W/GAS. I HAD A GREAT VISIT WITH MY SON AND WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. IT'S AWAY FROM I-40 SO THERES NOT ALOT OF NOISE. LOTS O F PARKING AND WELL LIT. BE CAREFUL HOW,AND FROM WHOM YOU BOOK YOUR ROOM. Was welcomed to a room of pink and lavender walls, with some hints of mildew peeking through. Found long hairs on bathroom counter next to towels that felt like they had been line dried instead of run through a dryer. Drinking cups were styrofoam, not even wrapped. This hotel was very nice for our 5 year wedding anniversary. It was very clean and conveniently located close to the restaurant where we ate supper. The only bad thing (which is not bad at all really when you think about it) is no smoking rooms. It was a very good deal and I would stay there again.

Connie and her staff were very accomodating and friendly. Would gladly stay here again.

Although the staff at the hotel desk were friendly and helpful, the condition of the room left a lot to be desired. There was a long black hair on the wall of the shower/bath. The bottom of the tub was getting dark & needed some bleaching detergent. On the first day, only one package for making one cup of coffee was on the counter. When I requested […] enough for two for the next morning, the maid left none and only one styrofoam cup with extra plastic cups. I had to go back down to the desk to get some coffee for the next day. Hotel and staff were very nice .Stayed for four nights for my daughters softball tournament. did not spend a lot of time at hotel but comfy beds and cold a/c just what we needed.

The hotel is attractive but a little dated. Staff friendly. Could use at least a mini-fridge in the room. Breakfast is barely continental. Will fit the bill for a one-night stay.

Older building that has had a total do-over. Nice room
