Hotell La Quinta Inn & Suites San Antonio The Dominion - San Antonio

Booked here because it is really close to where we were going for a birthday party. We have stayed here several times. We mainly book it for convenience.

The walls are very thin here but the stay was overall great, especially for the price. Close to the Rim shopping as well as The shops at La Cantera, an outdoor shopping mall.

I picked this hotel because it's a short drive to Fiesta Texas (around 5 minutes), and it was much less expensive than any of the other "nice" hotels in the area. It is a newer building with all of the rooms accessible from inside the hotel. An HEB grocery store is a short drive away, and there is a convenience store and restaurant within walking distance. My […] room was clean and well furnished, and the entire hotel appeared to be carefully maintained. All of the staff members were very polite and helpful. The included breakfast isn't fancy, but they do have boiled eggs, fresh waffles, muffins, cereal, and lots of other choices. For a free breakfast, it's pretty good! My only complaint is that if your neighbors are noisy (slamming doors, talking loudly), you will hear it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for nice family accommodations in the Fiesta Texas area. Läs mer

Their breakfast could be better, by the time we went down at 9am their was nothing left. Over all I would stay there again.

The hotel was nice. Only issue was the bathroom door in our room did not lock.

A lady by the name of Myrtle checked me in when I arrived. She provided quite possibly the nicest check-in I've ever received at a hotel. She was nice, polite and professional but also very genuine. When U only get one day a week off. You hope for the best. Altho I would have liked to be a little closer to SanAntonio,it was ok. room wasnt a suit but was impressed with vaulted ceiling. Close to nice shopping and dining

Easy off and easy on I-10. Clean comfortable room. I don't need anything else. Will stop here again.

The hotel hall ways were not very clean. There were about 3 nights we had people next to us or across the hall that were very loud. We had to call the frontdesk about 3 times different nights to quiet the people. Internet was very slow. Also the person who checked us in spoke very little English. The beds are super uncomfortable, very stiff beds. The pillows have no fluff and are very flat, did not make a good nights rest. The air conditioner in the room did not reach across the entire room making the room feel very hot during the night. There was not much of a selection for breakfast....

We enjoyed our stay very much. Room was very comfortable and I enjoyed having the coffee maker in the room with decaf or regular coffee. Having the breakfast setup in the morning was just wonderful before leaving for the day. Beautiful breakfast with anything you might like. Thank you very much!

We booked a room for 4 nights with 2 queen beds and was told when we arrived late on our first night that they only had a king with a pullout sofa available. Basically they overbooked and stuck us with a king with sofa even though we had booked and paid for our room a month in advance. The staff that night wasnt too helpfull since they werent the ones […] who gave our room away. At 7 the next morning we got a call and were told that we would have a room with 2 queen beds available in 20 minutes. The lady was very apologetic but didnt do anything to make it up to us. Hated not being able to get settled in the first night and having to move the next morning, but what can you do when they dont offer to make it right. We stayed here 2 years ago and was very impressed with the location and quality. Needless to say this will probably be our last stay since the quality seems to be going downhill. Hot tub didnt work at all, no card reader on one side of the building which means anyone off the street could walk in at any time, ran out of coffee one morning in about 30 minutes, phones in our rooms didnt work. Breakfast is your basic continental breakfast, coffee, 3 kinds of cereal, juice, toast, muffins and waffles. So overall I give this hotel maybe 2 stars. Overall we were pleased with the hotel. We arrived early in the morning to go to Six Flags but did not want to leave all our luggage in the hot car all day. Although we could not check in yet, the front desk clerk was very accommodating and allowed us to leave a suitcase in a closet so it would be in air conditioning. Room was very comfortable and very clean when we arrived. The only real problem we encountered was on the second day when we left at 8:00am and returned at 10:30pm only to find that our room had not been touched by housekeeping. We had used the pool the evening before so dirty towels were piled pretty high. The evening front desk clerk (who was VERY nice) was apologetic but there was little she could do at that hour but give us clean towels. The room did get cleaned the next day, but they forgot to give us a bath mat. That was just a small inconvenience. Other than the housekeeping snafu it was a nice stay and we would stay there again. The hotel was clean, updated, and in good condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast offerings could have been better. Our room was clean and comfortable however, the hall area was very dirty and housekeeping seemed to be overwhelmed. There were piles of dirty linens up and down the hall when we arrived after 3 pm and when we left before 11 am.

Room not as clean as it could be...found an empty beer can in a corner! Pool spa was missing a drain cover. Other cosmetic issues as well like a door stop falling off. Otherwise our stay was nice. Breakfast was good and hotel looked clean.

I stayed here to visit relatives in Boerne, about 10 miles away. I thought this hotel was pretty well located for the things we did in San Antonio, Boerne, Kerrville and Fredericksburg. We visited the RIM a few times for food and entertainment. I did not use most of the amenities at this hotel so I cannot comment on the pool, breakfast, etc. I mainly […] came in after midnight and left around 10 am for the 4 days I stayed here. Similar to other La Quintas I have stayed out. Nothing special. Breakfast was a little disappointing for a La Quinta. Usually they have bacon, sausage, eggs, etc. Only waffles and cereal here. Pillows were the flattest I have ever had at a hotel, even beating out Super 8. Stairwells needed a good vacuuming. The bare bones are great, and the lobby main use rooms looked good - the actual guest room that we stayed in was looking tattered and needed a good cleaning and overall maintenance. Rugs had stains and the grout in the bathroom was very dirty. Hope the hotel picks up the maintenance aspect to avoid it going downhill. My stay at the La Qunita was very relaxing and pleasant. The staff was very friendly.

stain on carpet when you walk into room, hair in tub when we first arrived, really hard matress.

Ok, so maybe I don't get out much, but let me tell you about our stay. The hotel was immaculate and talk about a comfortable bed! Wow! What a great night's sleep I had. After spending the day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas the last thing I wanted to deal with was a crummy room and an old squishy mattress. Great hotel for the money. Breakfast bar needed replenishing for the large occupancy.. beds very comfortable.

The hotel was very noisy. Traffic and thin walls, could hear the next room guests snoring. AC unit was loud, and the truck parking in rear all night. Cheap ammenities, breakfast was basic stuff nothing special. I would not stay here if you want a good nights sleep

Room was fine it was the noise. The walls were so thin you could hear the next door guests snoring. The traffic was loud, the air conditioning unit was loud. Not what we expected. Won't stay at a La Quinta again.

We enjoyed our visit very much. The king size bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was great!

This hotel was at a great location! The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable! Great for the money! The hotel staff was very helpful in any questions we had about how to get to different places. 2 thumbs up!

I had booked two rooms here, and when we checked in, both rooms were on separate floors on the opposite end of the hotel. I asked if we could atleast be on the same floor and the girl at the front desk seemed like we were taking up too much of her time. They keep up with keeping everything stocked. The pool was horrible. The water was all green looking and smelled like warm molded cabbage. I had asked for a towel and was told to go to the storage room and get what ever I needed. As long as you dont need the staff, the place is nice. We stayed 4 nights and only had one minor complaint. The A/C didnt seem to be quite as cold at night as we would have liked it. Other than that we had no complaints. We enjoyed the 1pm check in. The hotel was outstanding as far as cleanliness and appearance. There was just one girl working the desk and the breakfast area. She did not want to be bothered. I was very pleased with the location,surrounding areas,and price of hotel. My only turn off was that the a/c wasn't on within the room.So it took awhile for the room to cool once on. But all in all it was a nice room to getaway in.
