We really loved this hotel, service was so friendly and attentive (but not too much so). We had a suite in the garden with a small kitchen and it was so secluded and private

A warm welcome, an excellent room, stunning food and that's without even mentioning the pool and hot tub. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Lovely hotel. If this is the location you are after then this hotel is great. The staff should win some kind of award - I have never stayed anywhere with such lovely service (nor really realised what a difference it makes). In addition the hotel itself was clean, well furnished and the food was good.

Beautiful old building, decorated to an excellent and relaxing standard with staff that cannot do enough for you - felt really spoilt. Short stay, but all the convenience that I required, close to main road, but very quiet, very comfortable and very helpful staff. Will use again and recommend to others. In my experience it is certainly worth more than it's listed two stars.

Quality of Evening Meal was 1st class although the service was a bit drawn out. Lovely quiet location. Hotel staff highlighted short cut to Eden Project which saved a few miles driving We stayed in Joanna Room which is located above the indoor swimming pool. Stayed here for a couple of nights. Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely hotel and very welcoming staff. Very convenient for some of the Cornish gardens.

We had a great time at Boscundle Manor; we stayed there for our 1st wedding anniversary and they made our anniversary very special; decorated the table; sparklers in the desserts and a complementary champagne. Stayed in Beatrix cottage with family. Very relaxing stay and hosts very welcoming. Main house lovely but cottage just a bit tired - just needs a lick of paint and some minor peeling wallpaper to be repaired. Did not spoil stay but for the money thought room would be immacculate. An open garage next to the cottage entrance had old doors and storage […] on display - suggest this not a luxuary first image. Kids had their own mini rodes which was a nice touch - they loved going to swimming pool wearing these. Be aware that the cottages are away from the manor, and at the top of the gardens - if it rains you will get wet walking to the facilities or to breakfast. We only had breakfast but was offered a early dinner sitting with kids if we wanted. Noticed some reviewers offered tea on arrival but we did not get this. Lovely hotel with very private setting ,nice pool and hot tub ,staff were very helpful and polite ,food in restaurant was very good ,and the spa was especially good with lovely staff that made us feel great ! Would defiantly recommend this hotel and will be going back ! .

The hotel is set in tranquil surroundings on the outskirts of St Austell. You are made to feel welcome as sonn as you set foot in the door, the staff are helpful and friendly. The suite we had was exactly as described in the brochure.(webpage) 1st class toileteries. The breakfast was perfect, however one minor criticism was the price of dinner but the […] food content again was perfect. We used the hotel as a base for touring including the Eden project and its location is highly convenient for all the attractions that this part of Cornwall has to offer. Nous cherchions un lieu confortable pour visiter 'en étoile' la Cornouaille en rentrant tous les soirs sur St. Austell. Accueil et service très attentionné. Chambres avec beaucoup de charme.
