Hotell Grand Beach Hotel - Miami Beach

Hotell med hög standard och trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi bodde i ett rum med delvis havsutsikt som vi var klart nöjda med. Vi fick först ett rum på 18:e våningen med balkong på den norra sidan. Vi önskade byta till ett rum med balkong på den södra sidan istället och det var inget problem. Vi har bara positiva minnen från detta hotell. Enda nackdelen […] är att det är en bit till affärer och restauranger i South Beach (45-50 minuters promenad). Det är dock bara en kortare tur med taxi eller buss om man inte orkar/vill gå. Hotellet har allt su kan önska dig och en bra service. Resturangen är bra och har rätter från ca 10 $ och upp. Finns ett Wallgreens i närheten som du enkelt kan bunkra upp tex frukost. Modernt och fint hotell precis vid sandstranden men en bra bit att gå om man vill till centrum (vi tog oss inte dit i värmen..). Bokade rum med havsutsikt och var väldigt glada för det. Beställde pizza för "hemleverans" från en pizzeria från vilken vi fick en lapp under dörren ifrån. Billigt och mysigt att äta den på balkongen och njuta av havsutsikten. Mycket stora och ljusa rum, vi bodde i ett oceanfront rum. Läget direkt på stranden var underbart! Parkeringen kostar 29 dollar/ dygn. Strandpromenad;från South beach nästan ända fram till hotellet. Man får vika av ut på gatan de sista 5 minuterna. Rummet innehöll 2 badrum samt kylskåp.

Fantastiska rum med två plasma-tv och utsikt över både Atlanten och bay-arean. Vi trivdes med både hotell restaurangen och pool/beach-delen. Dyrt med bilparkering och nödvändigt med bil/taxi för att komma ner till södra delen.

Detta är ett väldigt fint hotell, men det ligger lite långt från centrum. perfekt för dig som bara vill åt stranden. det tar 15 minuter till centrum med buss som kostar 2 dollar per person och väg.

Vi stannade här i 3 nätter och vi är supernöjda med hotellet. Bra service, kanonläge vid stranden, trevlig personal och fantastisk frukostbuffé (tyvärr lite dyr). Vi spenderade första 5 nätterna av vår bröllopsresa på the Grand Beach Hotel. Det var ett kanonbra val. Om du som vi vill ha ett hotell där man inte behöver ifrågasätta renligheten är det ett utmärkt val. Det var absolut rent, men viktigast av allt: personalen hade inställningen att allt skulle vara rent. Om man är ute efter att komma så nära alla […] uteställen som möjligt är det kankse inte optimalt. Det ligger i den delen av Miami Beach som är lite lugnare, men absolut inte så att det ligger utanför stan. Vi hyrde bil och körde runt och det är jättesmidigt att köra fram och tillbaka till hotellet. Det enda man skulle kunna klaga på är att kostnaden för parkeringen (29$/natt) är något saftig. Men det är prisläget för parkering och vi var beredda på det redan innan, så det var i sig inga problem. Vi hade en fantastisk utsikt över hela Miami, som gjorde att det var ett rent nöje att äta frukost på balkongen. Rummen har ett litet kylskåp, perfekt för att kunna köpa med sig grejer till frukost, däremot är det lite dåligt med bestick och redskap. Men kaffebryggare finns. Vi testade aldrig poolen (tittade bara hur det såg ut), och inte heller restaurangen på hotellet. Eftersom vi ändå var på Miami BEach så fanns det ju ingen anledning att sitta på hotellet, även om området och anläggningen i sig var kanonbra. En liten taxiresa bort (typ 5-10$) så fanns hur mycket barer och restauranger som helst. Vi är jättenöjda och kan absolut tänka oss att åka it igen. Läs mer

Paid for an ocean view suite for 4 adults, ended upp towards the back of the hotel with one of us sleeping on the floor. "Call Valet to save time vhen picking up your car" should read "Call Valet and when you are ready to pick up your car, wait another 10 min". In spite of calling housekeeping twice during daytimne (noon and 2 pm) to have the room serviced, […] it still was not serviced when we returned to the hotel during the evening. Det var ett trevligt rum som fungerade bra för hela familjen. Fräscht rum, bra pooler, stranden riktigt nära, restaurangen kunde inte göra " Irish coffee" men var vänligt inställda så de lyckades efter instruktioner. Frukosten var helt OK. Ett mycket fräscht hotell på Miami beach. Det är stora och rymliga rum med dubbla WC och två stora platt-tv och stort utbud av kanaler (inkl. HBO). Poolområdet är mysigt med palmer, två pooler och ett varmare bubbelbad. Enda nackdelen är möjligtvis att det blir skugga efter 13-tiden (i januari). Det enda som finns att klaga på är hotellets restaurang […] och bar, den är nästan värdelös. Förhållandevis dyr och varierande kvalitet på maten - vet att fler har anmärkt på samma sak. Som tur är ligger Fontainebleau precis bredvid som erbjuder 5-stjärnig service och med en riktigt lyxig lounge för kvällarna när man inte orkar dra ner till South Beach. We were looking for a hotel close to the airport and not far from the port because we should go on a cruise next day. We ended up with a couple of alternatives in South Beach and picked this one because it looked nice and had a very good price. When we got there the impression was better than the pictures. Grand Beach är ett mycket fräscht fint hotell och du får relativt hög standard för dina pengar! Rummen ör stora och luftiga med bra förvaring! Lobby trevlig! Poolen mysig och barnvänlig, ett minus var dock alla palmer vid poolen som gjorde att solen hade svårt att komma fram. GB har cirka 400 rum och lika många condos men endast cirka 60 platser vid […] poolen vilket givetvis skapade stora problem, detta redan under lågsäsong vilket gjorde att charterkänsla infann sig med revir markerande av solstolar redan vid 07-08 på morgonen. Trevligt och fräscht hotell. Flera poolområden och access till stranden. Finns kylskåp på rummet så man kan handla egen frukost. Frukosten på hotellet är definitivt inte prisvärd. Största nackdelen är obligatorisk valet parking, gör det jobbigt att hämta ut bilen när man bara har ett kortare ärende.

Hotellet är mycket trevligt, rummen är gigantiska med dubbla badrum, ett med dusch och ett med badkar. Soffa med bord framför en stor TV och även ytterligare en lika stor TV framför sängen. Vi hade ett lite billigare rum med sämre utsikt, alltså inte mot havet, utan söderut, men vi tyckte istället att det var trevligt att även se in mot downtown Miami. Bemötandet […] av personalen vid incheckning var mycket bra, roomservice och liknande också det mycket bra. Frukostbuffén var mycket god men det kändes tveksamt om den var värd 22 dollar per person. Hotellet ligger lite "off", det är inte gångavstånd till Ocean Drive och butikerna längre söderut på Collins Avenue. Hyrbil är ett bra förslag även om parkeringen kostar 25 dollar per dygn (dock fritt, bortsett från dricks, hur många gånger man vill ta ut och ställa in bilen). Läs mer

Ett bra hotell, stora sviter och fräscht. Ligger dock lite långt ifrån restauranger och hotellets restaurang var ok, ganska begränsat utbud.

Had initially booked with Marenas resort - 2 bedroom suite - awful hotel - rooms were not clean, the pool was just a sad excuse for a pool, dirty cushions on pool chairs, etc. Hotels.com was so efficient in switching us to the Grand Beach Hotel which was just amazing. I loved, loved, loved, loved, loved, loved, loved.... did I mention loved this hotel. not only was the hotel, clean, rooms were huge, my oceanfront view was breathtaking, the elevators had NO long waits..but the customer service was the icing on the cake. I stayed here January 26-30th 2012 and I am not sure if it was just a good time to stay because […] I felt like the hotel catered to our every need. Valet, waited the most 5 minutes even when the line was long, the room service they said an hour but it only took them 40 minutes. One night we returned to the hotel from a night out on Ocean Dr. (where all the hoopla is) it had to be around 3 am and the valet was not in sight, we walked into the hotel and due to the fact the valet was in the back out of sight, manager quickly called the valet and he took our car for us. Though we didnt mind the 1 minute search for the valet, the manager was nice enough to send up some croissants and coca-colas for us waiting at all. TOTALLY unexpected, but much apprecitated. We spent one day at the adult pool on the 7th floor and got a chance to take advantage of the happy hour. The bar tender provided 2 extra shots at no additional cost try the frozen tropical passionfruit it was delicious and only $4 . loved it! If you want to come visit south beach but dont want be in the chaos in the low Collins ( 5th-30th blocks) come to the Grand Beach hotel. It's clean, the service is friendly and the hotel is a beautiul! I really wish there was a Grand brach in Vegas or LA. Please build more. we will definitely be back again. Läs mer

Stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel with my dad and his wife and was impressed by the entire facility. The room was quite nice and the service was excellent. Having the adult only pool was a real nice touch. The only slight drawback was having to rent chairs on the beach. They should have these included and build into the room rate.

The hotel is extremely comfortable, staff are most helpful and the views from our room were magnificent. I would recommend to anyone.

This hotel is right on the beach and has a balcony with a beach front or intercoastal view. They are gorgeous and relaxing views. This was my second stay at this hotel. They even have a pool for adults only. It was nice being we wanted to have a relaxing trip with just the 2 of us. The only disappointment was some minor stains on the carpet and couch […] cushions. The rooms are all white so I guess it is a little difficult to keep them spotless. We decided to not complain because the view from the room was perfect. You could see both the intercoastal and the ocean. The staff was very nice and even called to see if everything was okay. I had trouble accessing the wifi however someone came and helped me within a short time of being there. Just beware.......... I am not sure why this happened but after receiving my credit card bill, the hotel charged me for the room and so did hotels.com. Hotels.com fixed the misunderstanding. Just make sure they know at the desk that you have already paid for the room with hotels.com upon checking out. I thought it was clear but apparently it was not. Läs mer

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. I booked a room with ocean view, which I got, but I was a little disappointed that the view from my balcony, which was on the side of the building, was not as spectacular as shown on the website. Very nice hotel. FYI, they charge $29 a night to park your car which is very reasonable for Miami Beach. The hotel and staff was great. 2 pools with the one on the 7th floor for adults only. I wish I had spent more nights. Best value for a vacation I took recently. I did not get a read on the dining, but the area has plenty of places. This was the end of our 3 week US holiday before returning to SA. We had a great stay. The beach is 1 minute away and we had a fantastic time. The rooms were clean, the service was fantastic. The beach is really nice and the rooms are super clean and beautiful. The staff offers good service. The pool could be better.. I was expecting something more outstanding.

My wife and I stayed there for the second time in the past year. The service and standards were good on both accounts. The rooms are nice with 2 flat screen TVs in separate areas. Clean and comfortable and I also like that each room has an extra small bath with toilet, small sink and shower which makes it nice when we come back from the beach. An adults […] only pool on the outside deck of the 7th floor is a nice getaway from the family pool area. Great place for couples or a family. Lots of kids there this past time. Expect additional costs to stay. $29 per night for valet parking, $30 per day for chairs and umbrella on the beach, and the restaurant is a little pricey as well although convenient. The hotel itself was quite ok, clean nice rooms and fine interiors. Location is quite far from south beach and there isn't too much too do around the hotel and no crocery stores either. Concierce sucks; we asked for a car rental office but the guy arranged us a rental company who picked us up and took us miles to some backyard where they had over 10 […] years old cars with high "market prices". Well we did not take one... On the other hand when we were leaving we called the bell boy and they promised to arrange one immediately - well, he never came... and this was outside the rush hours. The rooms were immaculate; cleaning ladies did wonders of our messy rooms every day. The pools are perfect for kids. Location to beach is perfect... 1 minute walk. That said, they need to work on the quality of food of the restaurant. Honestly, greasy, not good. If they fix that, this is a perfect place for the price.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful hotel with a lovely placement right on the beach. The room was comfortable with a nice view over the sea and the river. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts was fantastic and we enjoyed a stroll on the beach early mornings and the swimming pool / juccuzzi was a nice was to end some […] of our long days out. Can recommend this. Only complaint is that the mattress on the sleeper couch wan't in good condition so the kids complained that the bed wasn't good. Our bed on the other hand was fantastic. Läs mer

Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms. Just be warned though that a double bed in this hotel means a small sized English double bed and not the usual UK King Size (also known at US Queen Size) found in most hotels. This is the first time we've found this in the USA. We were able to upgrade but at considerable cost.

Having stayed at the same hotel last year we were very keen to again book the hotel for our 2 week stay this year. We love the child free swimming pool on the 7th floor, however, 4 days this stay were spoiled by the drunken and loud behaviour of other adult visitors. Unfortunately, the hotel did not enforce it's policy on appropriate behaviour in a […] public area. We found the valet parking expensive $29:00 per day and the menu at the dining room very limited. Just one suggestion: the hotel should either buy fitted bottom sheets, or teach the roomkeepers how to make a bed. We had to re-do our bed every night! Hotel is lovely, room terrific, but, oh....the reservation and front staff!!! I had a room booked (and prepaid) for 4 nights starting on a Friday. Called and alerted them (and got person's name) that I would be coming in on Saturday a.m. early on a red eye, would pay for the Friday night because I needed to go to sleep as soon as I got there at 7am […] Sat. Flight got delayed and did not get in until 2pm Sat. Called again (from West Coast) to alert them, and was told my room had been given away and there was no other. Unfortunately I had to get quite demanding to get my room back. Was told there was no person by the name of ........ which I had been given and had asked to specifically note in the reservation that I would be coming in the next day. The front office manager and the staff I spoke to were unhelpful, unaccommodating and uninterested. such a pity for such a nice hotel. But I really don't think they care. Läs mer

The furnishings are modern and well maintained the beds are comfortable, enormous, bug free and the ocean view is to die for. I could not have been more impressed with the service I received from both Hotels.com and the Grand Beach Hotel. I was greeted immediately by warm and friendly staff, they were more than accomodating. I was quickly given a key to my beautiful suite on the 19th floor. Crisp modern and white this airy room was complimented by the aqua blues of the atlantic […] ocean just beyond my balcony. The bed was truly a dream; firm yet plush and adorned with down bedding - I was in heaven! I would absolutely visit this hotel again as I am sure my experience will be another to remember.
