While the service was good and room was comfortable, it was not the ideal place to take if you want them to fall asleep before 10. Rooms were not very sound prood and noise went on around the pool until well after 11pm.

We felt that the rooms needed some work. We were in room 115 and the door in the bathroom was all tore up from a pet I assume. The counter in the room was all warped and needed some major repair. From the location, to the room, to the cleanliness to the staff, to the Section 8 housing - nothing good to say. At all. Just pass it by - sleep in your car.
It wasn't like the picture I seen on the internet at all !! The room smelled stail, but they had construction going on all around it so. The breakfast didn't even have any coffe creamer on it.

After complaining and receiving a new room that room was clean, comfortable, & in decent shape (first room was on 2nd level, next room was on 1st level). "The Rodeway Inn and Suites - Not on top of my list"
We were looking for a place to spend the night. Not really looking for entertainment. IE: a pool ect. With the construction going on the place was really hard to find. Their sign is the smallest I have ever seen. Their staff was very respnosive but items you would expect in the rooms you had to ask for. We only got 1 small bath towel, no hand towels. […] We had to request more. The one door to the room opened into the pool area with a big "french door" but the curtains covering the door only covered about 80% of the window. We made sure the curtain covered the bed area while sleeping! Over all this hotel fit the bill for a place to sleep but I will not be returning for any reason. Great hotel and services. The pool area was nice, as well as the continental breakfast and polite staff members. The room wasn't the cleanest though, no big deal, but there was a piece of pizza and some candy right behind the headboard of the beds and then along the border of the bed's bottom boards were crumbs. "Not my type of Hotel"
Our greetings at the entrance door was hundreds of cigarette butts on the ground. A shovel and a broom should have been used to clean it up. The walls in the room had dirty smudges all over. Hey a paint job would have helped. It is an older hotel in a not so great part of town, but still it could have updated a bit. The bed was wonderful and the bathroom […] was nice and clean. The odor in the room was awful as was the furnishings and a very odd layout. At 8am the next morning I went out to my car and an employee was cleaning up what appeared to be vomit. As my kids and I walked down to breakfast a little after 9am we walked past a very rough looking guy who appeared to be passed out on a bench in the hallway and he was still […] there when we returned from breakfast and also still there as we came back down to use the pool at 10am. This hotel was very decent for the price. It's not brand new, so a bit dated, but I found it to be kept up well and clean. Huge room. Nice pool area. The staff was helpful and friendly. Having a refrigerator in the room is a plus. Basic continental breakfast.

Rodeway Inn And Suites. Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It was pretty apparent that the owners of this motel have not put any money into upkeep. The woman at the desk had to go into other rooms to supply our room. The whole place is dirty and poorly maintained.
"Mixed review"
Hotel staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. Arrived late from airport and they made my check-in painless. Hotel interiors are dated. The room was clean except for one issue. It looked as though the prior occupant decided to use the wall as a facial tissue to blow his nose and left it there. Evidently missed by housekeeping. Yuck!
"Disrepair"
Missing lock in first room, so we moved to a 2nd room which ALSO WAS MISSING THE LOCK. We just stayed and crossed our fingers because we were too tired to move again. The pool was shut down because something was broken, door jams were missing, and the hotel just seemed like it was part of the ongoing road construstion we had to deal with on the way […] there. "Perfect"
I've paid a lot more and gotten a lot less from other hotels. The room was enormous, and with a 'fridge and extra sink - who could ask for more for this price. Ideal hotel for bikers who are touring the great roads in the area and don't want to spend a fortune on a hotel. And the restaurant next door has great burgers!

There was old coffee grounds in the coffee maker, used towels in drawers, fan in bathroom was obnoxiously loud. Overall a bad place to stay for the money paid.

Bearing in mind the relatively low price of the hotel, it was an extremely nice stay. Our room was much larger than we would have expected and clean. We had what I believe to be the only room in the hotel with a separate entrance and balcony, which was nice, though the lights in the hallway were out. Our room was disgustingly dirty, from the carpets being soiled and sticky, to the bath rub being so dirty we couldn't give our son a bath,(he showered with us holding him)(we had to wear shoes in the shower it was so gross) to the comforters being stained and the air conditioner smelling musty and moldy. VERY large, quiet room with fridge and micro. Decent breakfast. Minuses: Exceptionally gloomy due to dim bulbs and non-working lights. Light switch at door didnt work, and lamp was plugged into a faulty outlet. Shower was unpleasant due to low-flow shower head that shot water out like pins and needles (same kind Motel 6 uses). Dirty carpet and a skuzzy […] stained old wobbly chair. The clock was set 20 minutes slow (!). The desk clerk provided vague directions to laundromat that I never did find. Läs mer

We expected a standard 2 queen hotel room - 2 beds and a walkway. But there was actually space to move around (and even a second sink & mirror off to the side in the main room!) "cheap and good!"
We were actually willing to put up with old furnishings and a little grubby considering the price, but it was just fine and the folks working were very nice and helpful with directions,etc. Check-in was a breeze. Pool was clean and fun. No reason to pay more and we'll keep our eyes open for this chain in other travels.

Enjoyed one night. Not expensive. Relatively clean. Used pool, hot tub, and sauna. Coffee not so good (both in room or in breakfast lounge). Continental breakfast was not great - don't expect much. Location good.

The indoor pool is a nice surprise, but there are kids scream around the pool area till 11:00pm. Other than that, it's a good stay.
