Close to train station from airport! No need to take a cab, just take the train. Hotel situated very close to everything, walking distance, however doesn't feel safe to walk outside after dark, but that goes for everywhere downtown. Room very cold, heated up by a very noisy fan, smelled strongly of cleaning products. Breakfast ok. For the price a very decent 3 star hotel. You get what you pay for, just remember tax not included, so a 3 night stay said should cost 280$ but ended up costing 310$

"waiting"
I was looking forward to my stay, but when we arrived at 2:30pm there was not a room available. they took my phone number to let me know when the room was ready and put a rush on the cleaning. I was aware that check in is 4pm but numorous people were checking in after us. we waited in the lobby for 2 hours and still no call. now at 4;30 pm we went to […] the desk and spoke to a manager who got us a room. no phone call. "Nice upscale hotel"
We had a great time.....until I came down with a stomach virus and was stuck in the hotel room for 2 of the 3 days we were there! And, to boot, Seattle was having stellar weather. "Unbelievably Incompetent Service"
I booked through Hotels.com and had no problems. However, the rest of my party booked through the hotel website and had one problem after another. Their original reservation was for three nights, arriving on Tuesday. Weeks before their arrival, they sent the hotel an email changing the arrival date to Wednesday, and received an email back from the hotel […] confirming the reservation change. When they showed up on Wednesday night, they were told that they were charged for a no-show fee for Tuesday night and that no rooms were available for Wednesday night since their reservation had been canceled because of the no-show. The front desk manager reversed the no-show charges, assured them that they would have rooms on Friday night, and found them rooms at a higher-rated hotel that cost $100 more per room. Luckily, I went on hotels.com, and got them rooms at the same hotel for less than the rate at the Olive 8. When they arrived at Olive 8 on Friday morning, they were told that there would only be one of the required two rooms available because of some unspecified miscommunication between the night manager and the day staff. Even though they forwarded the email confirming the reservation change to Wednesday night to the reservation manager on Friday morning, she continued to vaguely suggest that the snafu was their fault for not noticing a typo the hotel made in the reservation number. "A near perfect 4 star hotel"
I loved my stay at the Hyatt Olive 8. This hotel provides everything you want and nothing that you don't need. There is excellent beds, great designed rooms, a pool, gym, spa, restaurant and takeaway coffee shop. "Excellent stay"
We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt @ Olive 8. The staff was friendly and our room was clean and quiet. The location was great, within walking distance to Pike's Market and close to the tram stop for us to catch to go to the Key Arena. Would definitely recommend this hotel.Verifierad gästrecension
upon entering the room after checking in we observed dirty towels on the bathroom floor, the bed not made and garbage in the trash can. "nice hotel in a good location"
the room was very clean and the service was good. We didn't spend much time in the hotel. It's walking distance to the Fish Market and a few of the other attractions. The package I got did not include parking but there is valet and a parking lot across the street. I travel to Seattle 2-3 times/year for business, and I love to stay at this hotel if the rate is low enough for my company's policy. "Must stay place in Seattle!"
I stayed at the Hyatt at Olive 8 for three nights and had a wonderful experience. One of the people working at the front desk liked us so much that we were able to get free WiFi for our entire stay! The room was very nice, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and well kept. The Hyatt is situated in a perfect location close to shopping […] and restaurants, and Pike Place market is just a 10 minute walk. My boyfriend and I travel to Seattle monthly for medical reasons. We have stayed in several different hotels and this is by far our new favorite and an Excellent place to stay! The fitness center and spa are top notch and accommodating; they made me feel like a princess. Perfect location to walk anywhere downtown. Staff was fantastic and receptive. […] Only thing that somewhat bothered me was that it seemed the walls were thin closer to the entrance to the rooms so you could hear neighbors coming and going..but it could've just been excessively noisy neighbors. The room was very nice and clean. Only cleanliness issue was stain on one of the chairs. The hotel is situated very close to convention center and pacific place mall. "Fun and Upbeat place to stay in Seattle"
Went for a girl's night out, and we were all very pleased with this hotel. Everything from the location to the service to the decor were spot on. The beds and room were very comfortable, and warm, and we enjoyed the large bathtub and hot showers. The soft fluffy robes were a nice touch. The front desk was so nice, the valet went and got my wallet which […] i had left in my car for me. They also brought us complimentary tooth brushes and extra robes promptly and free of charge. Spa was kind of too pricy for us, but there is a nice salt water pool and sauna/steam room for guest use. The rooms were very roomy. Three of us slept comfortably in the double queen room. View was meh, but it was nice city lights, and surprisingly quiet for being on a main street on the weekend. Hotel is central to all Seattle sights. We walked to Space Needle, and Pike's Place Market in heels without complaints. Taxi service was not too pricy to go to Cap Hill or outwards when we got tired of walking. Nearby is all the shopping and eating you need. We forewent the hotel restaurant, I am sure it is good, but there is so much great food in Seattle, you can be choosy. I would recommend this hotel for young couples, business, and short vacation stays. "Couple staycation"
My husband and I arrived about 3:30pm on a Saturday and were greeted by very friendly valet. The front desk agent was also very friendly and knowledgable about the property. The room was comfortable and modern. The bathroom had just a shower but no kids so no problem! The toilet seat lid had a slow shut mechanism so it didn't slam shut and now I must […] have these in our home. The room was very clean with the exception of one random cobweb above the bed. Parking is a bit expensive (over $40 w/ tax) but pretty comparable to other hotels downtown. We didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food. But the location is great & quiet - close to shopping & restaurants but far enough away that there were no beggars out front. We had hoped to check out the pool and spa but there wasn't enough time. "First time in Seattle"
Very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the extra touches of bench seat in the room and Barn style doors. However there was no lock or fan in the bathroom. Good sized pool and hot tub with shower facilities.
