We traveled by car, and parking in Prague is a huge problem. It costs a fortune and we found no free parking close by. The hotel offers garage spots for 15€ per day, which is as cheap as it comes, so we took that after a night in residential parking with a fine as result. The hotel is ten minutes walk from central Prague, a very good location for […] the cheap price. This is the positive. The negative. The rooms are not very clean, my girlfriend suffers from fur allergy and started itching and sneezing quite soon after arrival, so they obviously allow cats/dogs in the rooms and don't clean them very good. I spilled some water on the floor and wiped it up, to find the cloth very dirty. The room is big and spacious but the kitchenette has no utensils whatsoever. The fridge was a wine fridge that didn't work most of the time. The reception opens at 10, so if you need to leave earlier with car, for god's sake don't use their garage. Despite having told the reception the day before departure we had to wait for two hours for the owner to appear to open the garage. She doesn't trust her employees with the garage, despite that they had access to the keys, and when we (quite annoyed tbh, we had a long drive that day) questioned the ill-functioning communication of the reception, she blamed the guy, taking no responsibility whatsoever, saying she was only an employee, refusing to give me the name of the owner, when indeed she is the owner. We would not recommend this hotel unless you are a backpacker with price as the only factor. And then there are cheaper hostels all over the place. //Magnus Läs mer

We were a group of three Motorbikes touring through European cities, so it was important the accommodation was central and secure. The owners have three garages with a ramp system, meaning two cars, one above, one below type set up, which was a concern with Motorbikes, but we managed safely and no issues. The hotel receptionist was lovely, helpful, […] cheerful and gave us good information about the area. A short walk 15 mins to the city main square, the bridge, the monument, museum all easily walkable or a tram / Metro service on the doorstep. Good restaurants and bars, you'll not be pushed to find different cuisines to try. Beware taxi prices back to the hotel from what wasn't really to far away, we were lazy and something which took 7 mins cost 700 K. Also if like us you want a quick book out to get on your way to the next destination, beware that reception doesn't open until 9, we had to barter and bargain to get them there earlier, but all in all simple, clean, good English, breakfast OK, have had better in our tour, but adequate (ran out of a few things, but eventually restocked). This is a fantastic hotel! Our room had a wine fridge, lots of space, and huge windows. The breakfast was amazing--more than the usual continental fare. The staff (both men who worked the desk while we were there, as well as the breakfast room ladies) were very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the location--neighborhood isn't particularly […] nice (not really dangerous, but not very nice) and not close to old town sights. However, there is a convenient bus stop about a block and a half away. You're probably better off taking a taxi to and from hotel with your luggage, though. This is a good value hotel. Quite simple and basic, but clean, breakfasts are good, and in a great locaton to get easily into the centre of the City. The best thing is the quality of the service given by David at reception. His advice is second to none, and he really helped us get the most out of our stay in Prague. The room had two tiny beds together, I kept and falling in between, and forget about trying to have sex in those. Was very clean, the reception staff of this hotel was friendly, the rest didn't speak a word of english. Breakfast was poor in selection and not great in quality either. location is ok, and otherwise it was fine

Loved everything about this Hotel! David made it that much better. He arranged for us to see all of prague in practically a day. Extremely helpful and one on the nicest people I have met in Europe!!! The hotel is located in 15 min footwalk to the oldtawon of prague and to the main station (we travelled by train !) Service and staff was quite freidnliy. Rooms were large, clean and in very good condition. Quite modern an on high technical level (kameras, chipcards, flatscree-TV etv.) Breakfast was okay for this pirce-level. Hotel simples, café da manhã frasciscano, quartos amplos e limpos, boa localização.

Vi var heldige, denne gang at få den service vi havde betalt for, nemlig en lejlighed hvor vi alle 5 kunne være sammen. En fantastisk lejlighed med udsigt over Prag´s tage - en lejlighed jeg ville drømme om at have i København.

Vi er en fam på fem og havde booked en lejlighed men da vi kom kunne vi kun få to værelser på hver sin etage! Med tre børn er det ikke optimalt!!! Vi måtte selv slæbe madresser fra det ene værelse ned på etagen under, så vi kunne være samlet!

The location is good with tram connections to the heart of the city. The bathroom is very basic, no shampoo etc is provided. Cleaning could be a lot better. Breakfast is very basic.

Das Hotel habe ich auf Grund des günstigen Preises und der guten Lage gewählt. Habe dann noch die Bilder und Video (youtube) angeschaut und glaubte nicht, dass es so edel ist, wie es auf Bildern und Video schien. Doch es war so. Die Atmosphäre ist doch sehr angenehm, die Betten sind gut für Paare und der Mann am Empfang ist sehr kompetent. Wie hatten […] sogar eine KÜCHE und einen großen KÜHLSCHRANK im Zimmer. Und das alles in einem seperatem Raum. Echt klasse. Technisch und in punkto Sicherheit ist das Hotel auch auf einem sehr guten Stand! Und man kann im Hotel super Geld wechseln. Besser als sonst überall in der Stadt! Mankos: Das Frühstück hatte nur eine kleine Auswahl, aber es gab zumindest von allem zwei bis drei Sorten (Marmeladensorten, Brotsorten, etc.) Wenig Parkmöglichkeiten (wie aber an vielen Orten in Prag) Sehr touristische Bars/Restaurants in der Umgebung. Wer echte Prager erleben will, muss ein paar Stationen Tram/Metro in den Osten/Norden fahren. Und Internet nur mit eigenem Gerät. Falls man aber nur was kleines braucht, stellt auch der Empfangsmann kurz seinen PC zur Verfügung. Zusammen gefasst, eine gute Empfehlung. Würde ich wieder buchen! Läs mer

Lad mig henvise til til min beskrivelse - eller bedømmelse - i forbindelse med vor indtjekning. Jeg kan - med undtagelse af morgenmadsrestauranten - kun give positive tilbagemeldinger; men som sagt havde vi kun to overnatninger

Winston Churchill is a good hotel, quite clean and tidy. Personel is very friendly and helpful and it's quite easy to reach with public transport (do ask for information as soon as you arrive at the airport though). There were only small problems such as the beds being a bit old and it looks like the last renovation went quite fast and small details […] like securing an eletric socket were forgotten. But overal it's a great (cheap) hotel to spend a few nights and enjoy this lovely city. Läs mer

Hotel og hotelværelser var pæne og velholdte. Møblerne var ikke magelige, men absolut brugbare, og der var mulighed for at lave kaffe eller te. Morgenmaden var god og ok,dog kunne vi ønske os at jucien var afkølet.

Por el hecho de contar con comentarios positivos no abandonar el servicio confiándose en una buena recomendación. Lo óptimo es mejorar siempre.

De l'extérieur, l'hôtel ne paie pas de mine. Facade un peu délavée, et donne une image peu engageante. Lors de l'acceuil, déjà, on oublie un peu la facade délavée. Et quand on découvre les chambres, on est tout à fait rassuré sur la bonne qualité de la prestation. Les chambres sont confortables, bien équipées, et d'une grande propreté. Pas loin de la vieille ville, ni de la station de métro de Florenc (avec 2 lignes sur 3..). 10min du métro, 20 du centre. Pour l'hotel en lui même, il est très propre et confortable pour le prix. Très agréablement surpris!! Les chambres sont vraiment bien ainsi que les parties communes. Le seul petit bémole est la récéption qui n'est pas ouverte de […] 20h à 7h et qui est injoignable par téléphone. Sinon le personnel est sympathique. Pour conclure je le recommande vraiment, il s'agit juste de prévenir l'aveil si on arrive tard ainsi que si l'on part tôt. Läs mer
