Great hotel overall! Just a few comments: Pool area is great but the pool was too cold. Surrounding area is depressing. Parking is expensive $30, you can self park across the street for much cheaper ($8 in secure car park - wouldn't leave car on the street at night though). Everything and everyone associated with this hotel was great. The only problem I had was the pool was way to cold. It's a problem when the pool deck is full of people wanting to swim but no one was in the pool.

Lovely staff, great room, had a blast! We left some items in our room at check out. Realised a day later.... Called the staff and they promptly mailed our belongings. Very professional staff! I def. will stay again.;-)

It is a beautiful room and very trendy and cool hotel. The service was less than par this time tho. Our rooms were not ready upon arrival and they had to switch floors for us. I love this hotel chain and I feel like it is my second home wherever I go.The only bad part about it was the room service. I ordered room service and waited for an hour only to find out that my order never went thru. I call the front desk and they were very apologetic and comped my meal. The rooms are super nice and clean and very comfy.

Overall the stay was ok. The only thing is that they charge for internet services and there are no late night restaurants (besides the bar). Rooms very clean but the overall staff is not very helpful.

I have stayed at W for many years. This one just felt different. Was not comfortable in my room, with everything having a price tag on it and everything was marked up 3 times more than it actually cost. Even the continental breakfast in the living room was a charge for anything that was laid out. The hotel is very dark even with all the glass. The staff […] is great, friendly, helpful, concerned about your stay. The rates that they have at this hotel are just higher on everything. The rooms at the W are great and the hotel is beautifully presented but poor service let's it down. On arrival no one offered to assist us with our suitcase (we had 4). Also during our stay we had to call room service 25 mins after having previously called for a wine opener. Then when we checked out the no one assisted with our bags. The view was beautiful on 14th floor but that was all that was offered for our 32 wedding anniversary. We always stay at the W in and out of town. The contemporary designs are remarkable.

Loved staying at this hotel. I've stayed at many W Hotels around the country. It's my favorite place to stay when I travel in any capacity. This hotel had particularly lovely and friendly staff-better than the other W's. Plus, they drive you anywhere you need to go within a 2 mile radius. You can't beat that service. Great hotel rooms, too. Really chic […] and sexy. My *complaint* is that the wi-fi is really awful. Both the free wi-fi in the lobby and the one you have to pay for in the guest room are super slow and sometimes didn't even work right. I was there for a business trip and was stuck completely with no wi-fi at times, even when I was willing to pay for it. So, W Atlanta, please fix the wi-fi quality so I can come back. An excellent hotel in almost all respects, with the sole drawbacks being pricing on incidentals, and the sparseness of the surrounding area(the closest convenience store was half a mile away). Beautiful hotel. Service was great. Lounge and pool area were the best. Beds were the best as well. Got a great nights sleep. Only thing I didn't like was price of room service. Friend and I ordered 2 cheeseburgers fries and 2 sodas. The price with room delivery was about $60.00.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff at the hotel was great. It is a modern hotel. Not really our style but that didn't detract from our quality of stay. With just a short walk there are a world of eating and shopping options. If modern hotels are your style this is great place to stay.

The only thing I would complain about is that there was no free parking you have to valet and there is no breakfast.

Staff was wondeful. No fitted sheets on beds. Loud guest and doors slamming all night two of three nights we were there. No privacy in rooms. Can see thru shower and can't have room service while you have someone in shower or someone dressing. Can hear thru door which means everyone heard us also. I counted 45 door slams on one evening. Called downstairs […] and asked to be moved or upgraded but was told they were full and could not promise any less noise somewhere else in hotel. Disappointed in noise and lack of privacy in room. Having not been to Atlanta before, I relied on reviews and hotel photos. Upon arrival, my driver informed me that ladies of the night frequent the bar/lounge area. I was hoping that he was wrong, but sure enough there they were. My visit to this lounge area also included the waitress bringing me a mojito instead of a margarita, and waiting over 15 mins […] for a toffee dessert. The couches in the lounge are badly stained and with the type of people making this area their hangout, absolutely disgusting. On our floor upstairs, garbage littered the floor near the elevator over 1 day. My shower dripped water when turned off all the way. Such a disappointment from such a reputable hotel name. Läs mer

My friend and I went down for a two day getaway and wanted to stay somewhere nice and different. We heard about the W from my roommate who is from Atlanta so we read up on it and decided it was a great fit. From valeting (Which for $30 is a bit much) to walking in, getting into our room, and everything else, we had a blast! The hotel was nice and the stay was great. The drinks at the bar did not taste well at all. The beds were comfortable. The shower curtain was too short and water got all over the floor. Also, you could see through the wall from the shower to the room. That was a huge inconvenience. The pool was only 2 to 3 feet deep. Wasn't something that could really […] be enjoyed. This is more an Adult party Hotel. There are very loud music and drinking parties at the pool. Too wild for kids. Our double queen room was very tight around the beds. Beware the bathroom arrangement is unusual. They have a big translucent glass wall between the inside of the shower and the bedroom. You can see that someone is in the shower, but not […] in detail. The tub is very wide and deep. This makes it more difficult to get in and out. Be careful. The room is beautiful to look at but not as functional as it could be. It is very convenient to using MARTA from the Civic Center station. We walked over to the Corner Bakery on Peachtree every day for breakfast and to use free Wifi there. As a healthcare interior designer, I would say its time they need to reupholster the Living room too. Läs mer

I just stayed for one night. The bar on the 16th floor was great, besides me loosing my phone :( The style of the room was great, I loved the shower. Although I wasn't very happy with the cleanliness of the room. But I guess thats just an ongoing problem with hotels now a days.
