Fantastiskt läge, nära till sevärdheter och kommunikationer. Mycket serviceminded personal, rent och fräscht. Fukostbuffé med fantastiskt panorama utsikt. Mycket prisvärt. Det enda att kommentera är att rummen är små men helt funktionella ändå, ingenting saknas.

Som de flesta hotell i området är det ett litet hotell, med små rum. Men det vägs upp av personalen, som är fantastiskt proffsig. Precis lagom hjälpsam, alltid tillmötesgående men inte påflugna. Rent, fräsch inredning (Ikea dominerar tyvärr, men det kan vara skönt att känna igen sig på rummer), och frukosten var grym! Vilken utsikt! Mycket välbeläget nära viktiga sevärdheter i historisk stadsdel. Många trevliga restauranger i omedelbara närheten. Lätt att ta spårvagn till andra områden. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Relativt litet hotell, därmed personligt. Skönt att kunna ha tillgång till dator för den som inte reserv med laptop. Vi är ett berest par, nu pigga pensionärer, med […] stor erfarenhet från olika världsdelar och skulle gärna komma tillbaka till detta hotell. Ett hotell som det är relativt lätt att komma till från flygplatsen. Först metro sedan ett byte till Tram. Avstigning och 10 minuters promenad. Centralt läge, små rum men det uppvägs av utsikten. Dels från rummet dels från restaurangen. Frukosten normal. Vänlig service.

The hotel was very conveniently located near Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The views from the breakfast / dining room were fantastic and a great way to start everyday. On the whole the room was great and the staff helpful. The only downside was the in room air conditioner leaked, causing an annoying dripping sound at night.

The staff were very helpful, my friend is disabled and they couldn't do enough to help her. It was also her birthday and they brought in a birthday cake with a candle on and sang happy birthday. It was one of the best birthdays she had had. The hotel was clean,room was fine. The ones with a sea view were great. Can't beat the location. Most attractions were no more than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was great and the view from the restaurant was amazing. The rooms were spacious in terms of European hotels. Very clean. I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Adamar is a great hotel, full of friendly and helpful staff, and is situated right in the middle of Istanbul's greatest attractions. It is within walking distance of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, both Bazaars and a major tram station in case you want to go further afield. The hotel is very decent. The view from the rooms is mediocre, but the view from the rooftop restaurand is charming. The location is prime. ATTENTION: Do not eat in the local unrated restaurants - they will bring you one menu to order, than, when you pay, they will give you another menu with prices times five.

Very friendly indeed...the placing is perfect for seeing the city. A bit disconcerting to have the room cleaned at 4pm when we wanted to rest...and a mild drain problem...bad smell in bathroom in the morning. However, overall, a very pleasing place to stay.

Staff was very very helpful. Greatest location in all of Istanbul. Loved the restaurant and the perfect 360 degree panoramic view. Towers over all the other surrounding hotels so you get an unobstructed view of the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the sourrounding land marks. You can see the Asian side of Istanbul from the hotel. Beautiful view of the […] mediterranean sea. Great breakfast every day on the rooftop of the restaurant indoors and outdoors, with out sacrificing the view. Smaller room ( as should be expected ) but who stays in the room when visiting Istanbul. View from the room Window was beautiful as well. As per the location it you can not beat it. 5-10 minute walk to all the major sites in Istanbul. Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmad Mosque, the Sultan's palace, Spice Bazaar, & the Basilica Cistern all can be visited by foot. Hotel staff was very eager to help every step of the way. I loved it. Room service and house keeping does a great Job. Breakfast is served at 7:30 Local time but We asked them to bring it earlier on certain days and Breakfast was delivered to our room at 5 AM as promised. Adamar is all about location, literally a couple of minutes walk from the Cistern and Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque/Hippodrome and very close to Sultanahmet tram stop (ask the hotel staff about the shortcut). I would warn you though if like me you're not keen on cats or dogs, then Sultanahmet is not the area for you. Taksim or one of the more modern districts might be better suited. Having said that, I was ok in Sultanahmet and have a massive cat and dog phobia. The hotel room was small, but who goes to Istanbul to stay in their hotel room? It was very clean and modern, and the toilet has a built in bidet (very important for Muslims you don't need to bring your own wash bottle/jug for the loo!!). Water was hot 24/7, shower was very powerful, clean towels. Toilettries not so great but hotel ones generally aren't so bring your own. No iron in the room, but I didn't need one so not an issue. Restaurant has spectacular views, but very expensive. My starter was good but my main wasn't, and there are other places you can get the view. Internet worked fine. Would strongly recommend this place- great location. Wonderful views from rooftop restaurant where we enjoyed our included breakfast. The only negatives- elevator is small and slow. Also our room had a pretty spotty wifi connection- but it worked in the hallway.

Great position for the main tourist sites of Istanbul, on a noisy road. Close to many touristy restaurents. Only one lift to service 6 floors with no button to say you want to go up or down on each floor. Could take ages to get from room to 6th floor for breakfast and down again. My husband and I chose this hotel for the view from the top terrace and also each of the main attractions was within approx 10mins walk away, some of the hotels nearby had nicer looking rooms but none could have had a better view of the Bosphorus at sunrise and sunset, it was just magical, to sit on the terrace at night with the Mosques all lit up and […] the lights of the city each side of the Bosphorus and also the cruise liners sailing into dock is a memory that will last a lifetime. The chef cooks the best Steak and mash ever and the waiters are lovely, the reception staff are so informative and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. It feels perfectly safe to walk around the area at night, and although Istanbul is a city it is not a party place, I think it would appeal to people who like architecture and history and good food (and jewellery) We stayed at the Adamar Hotel for a week which was just long enough to get the feel of the area, I only wish it could have been longer. Clean, comfortable, air conditioned, modest-size room. Get a corner room; while still relatively small, it's larger than the others and has lots of windows. Expect street noise however. The restaurant view is spectacular and the food was good with nice vegetarian options. Wonderfully close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, & Cisterns, and a relatively […] short walk to the Grand Bazaar & Suleymaniye Mosque (mind the route; it's easy to get lost among the many streets). It's a ~30-45 minute walk to the Galata Tower, less if you take the tram from near the Blue Mosque. Expect some steep streets & wear good shoes. There are also delicious restaurants just minutes away from the hotel. Each person on the staff was polite and responsive. They seemed sincerely concerned with how the guests were doing and tried to be as helpful as possible. I called in advance & was assured the room would have two beds but, upon check-in, the only room available had just one bed. We were asked to stay the first night at a smaller hotel 1/2 block away owned by the same company. With their apology, I was upgraded to a larger, corner room back at the Adamar the following morning, received discounted dinner, and a free airport transfer. Easy-going, this made up for my initial disappointment. But that first room sure was tiny in a far-from-spectacular hotel. In the end and even considering the first night’s mix-up, I would stay at the Adamar again for the location, comfort, and courteous staff. Läs mer

This is a small hotel in the Sultanamet area, 5 minutes walk from all the sights. Service was good, breakfast was typically Turkish with many choices. We stayed there for a week, in 3 single rooms, which were not enormous, but perfectly adequate, nicely decorated (modern but with character) and spotlessly clean. The staff were delightful and very helpful. The food was excellent. We had intended to eat out regularly (there are numerous attractive restaurants nearby) but found that we enjoyed the food […] and the stunning views from the Adamar's panoramic rooftop restaurant so much, that most nights we ate in. It would be difficult to find a better location for exploring Sultanahmet. The hotel is on a lively but (relatively) quiet street (bearing in mind that this is a major city!) and is within only a few minutes' easy walk of the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace, plus a tram station for exploration further afield. Wifi connection can be improved, dropping constantly when we were there. Standard room is a bit small, if you like bigger room it is more expensive. Location is very strategic, right at the center of all the major attractions. Also the remote control for the aircon should automatically be in the room :), it shouldn't be requested every time.
