We enjoyed our stay at Belltown. The hotel is clean and reasonably priced. The hotel is, however, right next to a bus stop and was very noisy from the street. This is particularly and issue since the hotel is not air conditioned. It was difficult to hear the television or to sleep with the window open. The elevator is also pretty slow. This hotel is a great place for anyone who is on a budget and wants a clean, friendly hotel that is within walking distance of the Space Needle and Pikes Place Market. There is a decent grocery store a block away and we had a kitchenette with mini-fridge so that we could have breakfast in our room and save some money. There are a lot of great restaurants […] within walking distance as well. The neighborhood is about average, but Seattle has a general large population of crazies and we never felt like we were in danger. The rooftop has a nice view of the city and is nice to hang out at sunrise or sunset. The hotel does not have AC, but there was a ceiling and floor fan provided which made our stay cool and comfortable. Overall, the room was average, but met our needs. We are not the type of people to stay in the hotel for too long since we like to walk around and see the city. We would stay here again. Läs mer

The employees were all super friendly and helpful. Upon first arriving we were pleasantly surprised at the accommodations and location. A short 10 minute walk to Pike Market. The hotel was ok. I was slightly concerned at first because of the sandwich boards and signage outside screaming about 'weekly rates' that made me concerned. Then there were some 'unsavory' characters that invited me up to the rooftop area with them, but I politely declined but was a little worried about my security. Otherwise, it was fine.

Great place for the price. Located near Pike Market and the Space Needle. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and roomy. Would definetely stay again!

The Belltown Inn was in a convenient location, with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and clean, recently refurbished. Daily service was of a good standard. Free internet was available in the foyer. We had a very enjoyable stay.

One of the tiniest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The bed was comfortable. Our room faced an alleyway. It was sufficient for 2 people who do not want to spend any time in their hotel except to sleep.

If you like walking (but not too much), and are looking for a less expensive place to stay while in Seattle, then this is your hotel! It's also on the bus line, so that is very convenient! If you can help it, don't stay in a room that borders the courtyard - they will tell you it's quiet, but it certainly is not especially when you have to leave your […] windows open at night. This hotel is great, reminds me of Europe. It has just about everything you need from bikes to bags to umbrellas. Recommend you don't drive rather use public transit. There's a great little store across the street open 24/7. Only downer is the evening desk staff...

During our 7 day stay the reception staff never once greeted us coming or going and never even looked up from their computers. Maid service was offered ONCE per week not daily. The pillow top mattress did not exist. Ours was a well worn regular queen. The "kitchenette" was a 4 cup coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. No stove or oven. No dishes, […] cookware, flatware of any kind. The room was tiny and poorly appointed. The walls are thin allowing our neighbor's TV and ceiling fan "ping" to be heard all night long. There wasn't any parking available, the Belltown's was full so we had to park on the street. We had to get a wake up call at 8:45 on Sunday morning to move our car by 7. It's not the Taj Mahal, but this neat little hotel gets the job done. Extremely friendly front desk staff, free bike rental, and a free bag of microwave popcorn are three of the numerous positive things about staying here. I liked having a little kitchenette and access to the small rooftop patio as well. It is close to a little market and public transit […] is right out the front door. The rooms are on the small side and do not have air conditioning but everything else is right on the mark. The neighborhood has lots of homeless people but that is the case with any hotel in downtown Seattle. i stay here for business 3-4 times a year and am always satisfied with it.

This was a real value--nicely decorated and well-maintained, in a great neighborhood (Belltown) for walking to restaurants, Pike's Place, and the Space Needle. Parking is reasonably convenient. Wifi minimal charge. Ask for a room away from the street, though, because Seattle buses are loud and run all night. I'd definitely stay there again.

As I was a presenter at the 2013 SRCD Biennial Meeting, the Belltown Inn's proximity to the Convention Center was a lifesaver! Not only that, the staff's friendly service and the hotel's comfortable lodgings made my trip to Seattle an enjoyable one! If you ever present at a conference in Seattle, the Belltown Inn is the place to stay!

Given that this hotel is half as expensive as some of the other options in downtown Seattle, this is a great deal. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, there was free wifi (albeit somewhat spotty at times), and a computer room where you can print out your boarding pass for free. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place […] to someone coming in for a conference or vacation who doesn't want to break the bank, but wants to be central. The only drawback was that I had a room looking out onto the courtyard, and the echo from that thing is crazy! I could hear a little girl's voice five floors below like she had a mic and amp! Luckily, it rained the entire time I was there, so people didn't hang out there. But if you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend asking for a room on the outside. Läs mer

I loved staying at the Belltown Inn! It was very close to all the big things to see and do in downtown Seattle. Everyone at the front desk was super helpful and went out of their way to help me with anything I needed. They were a joy to talk to and had great suggestions on local places to eat and things to see/do. I stayed in a small room, which was […] perfect because it was just me. My room and bathroom were amazingly clean - and I'm super picky about the cleanliness of my room! Kitchenette was a nice touch. Everything was in great condition. The hotel has a great "free loaner bike" program - I took one for a ride around the bay. Helmet, lock, and everything I needed was included - no charge! I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown Seattle. And if I go to Seattle again, I will stay here again for sure. Läs mer

Good stay... a bit of a hike from my daily destination (Safeco Field) though. Subway/train doesn't go all the way to the hotel unfortunately. Some shady characters in the local vicinity. We had a wonderful stay at the Belltown Inn. The staff was friendly and able to get us in a room even though we were early. The location was close to the waterfront, shopping, bars, and Pike's PlaceMarket. Affordable and great location.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We would most certainly recommend staying here to anyone who needs a clean place to sleep in Belltown. There's nothing fancy about the rooms, but they were clean and secure. Good value for the price.

The rooms are clean and the location is great. For the price you can't find something downtown like it. The one thing that was a negative was that, no where on the website said you had to reserve a parking space. We checked in at 5 o'clock and there was no parking available. So we had to park on the street. It's $2.50 in a hour and free after 8pm-8am. […] On Sunday it's free all day. Anyways when we checked in the front desk said to stop by when we went to move our car in the morning and they world have a parking pass. Once again there was no parking passes. The front desk in the morning said they were all reserved? Why hadn't the front desk guy from the night before told us about reserving or just simply reserved one for us. Well I moved the car to a parking lot a half block away. It was $7 weekend rate till 5. Then had to move it back to the street and pay $2.50 a hour again till 8pm. It wasn't a huge deal just something I wish someone would have told me. Overall I would stay here again. Läs mer

Smooth sailing! Not the fanciest hotel in the world, but for a great price was above and beyond what I expected. Quick booking and check in, room was clean, bikes for loan (free), and the location is really what nailed it for me. So close to everything I was in town for, and then just a quick walk to lots of sights. Will be back.

It was great except for that ONE thing. They're apparently changing door locks, and I had a problem both days with several key cards not working. Staff were untrained on the new system, requiring several trips back and forth to my fifth floor room. The first night I waited outside my second room that day for over a half hour while they fiddled. The […] second day, staff wouldn't listen to the knowledge on door opening I had gained the night before, so my departure for the airport was delayed. Everyone was pleasant and apologetic but the implied accommodation on my bill didn't happen and being late, I had no time to pursue it.
