Hotell Torre Venezia Suites - Quezon City

Torre Venezia is an excellent deal if you are traveling with family. We booked a 2-bedroom loft which suited our family of 3 adults and 2 children. This room also has a kitchen so it's great if you're planning on staying in the city for a long time.

This hotel was a total hit and miss. If you just want a place to sleep, Torre Venezia might be good for you. If you expect more from your hotel, then read on. Stayed at a 2-bedroom loft suite. Pros: Comfy beds and linens; cleaners next door who pick up and deliver to your room; large fridge; microwave; eating utensils; currency exchange at front desk; […] great location with eateries nearby. Cons: Only one really old, small, bulky TV in a 2-bedroom suite (most hotels for the price I paid have at least a flat-screen TV in the room and in the living area); smell coming from downstairs bathroom; temperature controls were broken in upstairs bathroom (the shower was either too hot or too cold, so we had to take cold showers since that was better than the weird smell downstairs); horrible check out procedure (hotel policy is to check guest room before check out -- we were detained for 30+ minutes because whoever checked the room said the towel count was off, so we would need to be charged for missing towels. We said we didn't take towels, so double check. After about more than 10 minutes, we were told the towels were found -- really bad experience -- checkout should be fast!) Also, while waiting for check out, there was a promotional video in the lobby showing that the hotel had rooms with contemporary design, and flat screen TVs. We DID NOT get that. Elevators are noted for breaking down regularly and are small, poorly airconditioned and slow. In addition, there are no back of house elevators so all housekeeping services aldso use the same facilities as guests. This means that you will spend a considerable amount of time waiting in the hot, stuffy corridors waiting for the elevators. It can take […] up to 10 minutes to get out of the hotel, or you could jog down 20 flights of stairs, your choice. The Hotel is in a good location. The restaurant is now open for lunch and dinner. The elevators break down often and there is no AC in the hallways or elevator.

Our room was freshened up from a year ago when we stayed here. but of course the price had gone up as well. The breakfast was not what I was hoping for. They should just bring what they have rather than ask what you want. Most of the things on the limited menu they did not have. The pool was under renovation, and it wasn't easy to get a straight answer […] as to when in would be back in service. My experience with Torre Venezia Suites was place was clean. However their breakfast they serve are very small portion I don’t why? Foods are cheaper in the Philippines’s. If you are a big eater that will not work. The amenities in the building open late, so if you a morning person this will not work for you. Supplies for your room are hard to get everything […] extra charges. We are party of five and they are only giving us 2 set of towels, maybe they wants us to share? And even thou you have a request for extra bed and leave mgs to arrange ahead of time, it will not happen. We still have to wait in the lobby for haft hour to set the room, do you believe that. Convenient location to areas we needed, but very poor housekeeping service. Refrigerator was off and smelled so awful, had to call housekeeping to have it clean and disinfected when we checked in. Rooms should be checked for cleanliness prior to guest checking in and we even had a late checked in and room was not properly clean including the non running […] refrigerator. Very poor housekeeping service. Mostly amateur housekeepers. I was in the room while one housekeeper was cleaning bathroom and I saw her use the toilet brush used also for the sink, I corrected her and she said it was rinsed anyway. Good to have a place to spend the night. Housekeeping service need proper training how to do professional cleaning. The refrigerator turned off and smells very bad. The hotel was nice and a good value for the price. Only a few negative points during my stay. The Front Desk checked us into an unfurnished room on a floor that was under remodeling. Once we were settled I would say the staff was adequate and the room was nice.

It's the worst hotel that I stayed in, the check in process was fast but suddenly the front desk agent asked me to pay the parking of P150 a night, for me parking should be complimentary to the guest, then we went inside the room and no hot water, a guy came and fixed, the parking was soooo steep that u would think its the road to hell! The basement […] parking sucks big time, so we ended up parking at the side of the road hoping no drunk driver would bang the car, this hotel doesn't have an outside call! They can't even connect the call to ur room which is ridiculous!!! The beds slide on the floor bec it's not even carpeted, the cushions on the couch slides down, the bathroom floor gets very wet bec they did not made a division on the shower and toilet bowl only a curtain that doesn't even meet the floor so the water ends up crossing the toilet bowl side and the vanity, they don't even have a magnetic card for the room, it's just an ordinary door knob and key, that makes me worried every time I leave..the only thing I like was the wifi, at least it worked. But I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will not come back even if it's the only hotel available in Manila! No freakin way! Läs mer

First the good: Room was well stocked with a flat panel TV, fridge, microwave, basic dishes. The staff is plentiful and friendly. The location is near to the areas I needed to get to. Breakfast was decent and delivered promptly. Now the bad, and why I would discourage staying here: I requested a queen or double bed at booking - request was not met. […] Oh well, maybe it wasn't available. Anyway, upon arrival, I noted the room to be modern with the conveniences mentioned above Good! I take off my shoes only to slip and hurt myself on the tile floor. My bad. I take my socks off to improve traction, and on climbing into the admittedly well made and clean bed, I note that the floor is FAR from clean as I have to wipe my feet off to avoid tracking someone else's short and curlies into bed with me. Later, I try to order a pizza. Can't call out. Call the front desk? "We'll call the pizza place for you and connect the call through to your room. Only 15 pesos for 3 minutes." Whatever, no problem, right? Well, they apparently couldn't figure out how, so I can't call out. Fine. So I order online, and arrange for the pizza company to call the front desk to confirm the order. Pizza company emails me to tell me that the front desk is not answering the phone. Fine. I walk down to the shop and get my pizza in person. Then the phone calls. Endless. "Hello sir, are you in your room." Why yes, I am, being that you called my room and I am talking to you. Calls for this, calls for that. Just leave me alone please! Things are broken in the room. The lamp is physically broken, the shower handle is busted. Nothing big, I guess. My laptop's battery is bad, so I have to leave it plugged in. Well, the cleaning staff has some OCD compulsion to unplug EVERYTHING in the room EVERY day. Lamps. Fridge. Microwave.
