Cons: People probably have their shoes on 24/7 in these hotel rooms. I think this is stupid since you will be black under your feet even directly after taking a shower. Surely you can bring socks and shoes into the bath room and put it on there. (Why not sleep with your shoes on and you'll never have to touch the dirty carpet. I struggled to know how to entitle this review because the examples given- "Comfy beds", "Great location" and "Fantastic service" all apply to this hotel. In the end I went with "Great location" because it's ideally placed, on a quiet side street within easy walking distance of Nice's main station, the town centre, and the sea front. The service was […] indeed fantastic; a team of reception staff ensured someone was available 24 hours per day and they were always friendly and helpful, and as happy to speak in English if required as to allow me to practise my French. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the beds very comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights and would have gladly stayed longer. The only slightly negative point is the breakfast; as with most smaller French hotels it isn't included, and for 8E you may feel there should be a bit more on offer-it's a bit basic, so you might think, as others have suggested, that it's worth going out for breakfast- and there are plenty of cafes between the hotel and the station. Prime location in the heart of Nice. Rooms are ok - why would you go to Nice to spend time in the rooms anyway? Parking near the hotel is abundant. But most important is the hotel staff - very friendly, pleasant, helpful and nice. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating in holding luagage after check-out time. Location is good - near station, near shopping area, near promonade des A. We had a room for 4 - not overly spacious accommodation and it is basic enough but quiet, clean and perfectly fine for one night. I would be happy to stay there again.

Correctly described as cosy, the hotel was welcoming and the staff very helpful. The location between the station and the sea was good. The only criticism is that the hotel was overheated and there seemed to be no way of regulating that. Neertheless I would go back

This hotel is spot on if maybe a wee bit expensive. Avoid the breakfast it's not worth 8 euros. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to all amenities. Cle4an and comfortable.

A just nice place to stay, but do not expect a lot from the receptionist. Not the most warm type of welcoming you would expect. And there is not hot water service available in the room, nor from the kitchen. The only way you can try to get a few cups of hot water (I did not book breakfast with them), is in the morning where you can ask from the lady […] working in the kitchen. Location wise, its pretty convenient to walk to bus station, train station, sea front, cafes around corners and carrefour is within the area. buses to Monte-Carlo etc is just about 30min walk away (we walk at leisure), so its really good. Located in walking distance to most of the sightseeings in Nice, this small hotel offers you a quite nice experience to a fair price. Cleanliness, very kind, helpful and informative hotel staff members, a good and comfortable double bed. Minusses are the quite thin walls. The first night we were disturbed easily by noise from the neighbours. Luckily […] the neighbours the other nights of our stay in Little Palace were quiet. I chose this hotel for one night last minute, because it is close to the train station, and low cost. you get what you pay for in terms of the room, but the hotel staff are lovely and helpful.

The hotel is a good basic 2*. The road outside is noisy, so it was disappointing to find the aircon didn't work and we had to keep the window open all night.

Hotel was lovely, very good value for money. We hired a car and parked in Mozart car park around the corner. Room was good for value, shower was a bit odd as no light directly over the shower so when showering at night with the curtain closed, was a bit dark but bearable. Shower curtain isnt good length, so floor got a bit wet. Shower handle is the […] type that you hold (personally i dont like this) so found annoying. Stayed in 1st room in hotel (101 or 111?). We had to leave our keys with reception before leaving the hotel which we thought was strange. Upon returning there was a different receptionist, but he didn't challenge/question is when we said our room number, and we didn't say our surname - just gave us the key. Bit worrying in terms of security. Overall nice overnight stay - would recommend for short stays in Nice. Läs mer

A lovely little find A small but conveniently located hotel just a few blocks from the train station. From the main exit from the platforms, just walk straight down the street in front of station towards the beach. The staff was friendly and don't be shy to ask for "must see" things to do in Nice and neighboring towns. The room was small but comfortable […] with a clean bathroom, AC, satellite tv (limited channels), and free wi-fi. You'll also find a small food market just left of the hotel; convenient for getting a bottle of water, baguette, cold meats, cheese and snacks (if you want to make your own little lunch). The hotel was very convenient for it's surroundings as it had so many shops, even a park and only five minutes away from the main train station. The hotel was very clean and the receptionist was very helpfull. She gave us maps and told us how to get around. The hotel was also very close to the beach and restaurants and it's very safe!

Comfortable room, no noise at all, half way between the station and the sea - useful for us as we were on a short stop off on a train trip. Didn't have the hotel breakfast as there are cafes offering the same for half the price on the way to the station.

The Little Palace is perfectly located...10 min walk to the train station and 10 min to the beach and Prominade. Lots of great shopping and restaurants closely as well. The hotel is clean, reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Nothing in Nice is cheap, but this hotel is reasonable value for such a central location. The room was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit shabby (broken shower head, that sort of thing). The staff were always friendly and polite. I would be very happy to stay here again.

A short walk from the sea, train station, bus/tram links and centre of shopping/night life yet in a quiet area. Staff very helpful and polite. Bed room and en suite very clean and comfortable. Hair dryer available, also shower fitting over bath but no shower. Stayed for 7 nights and would use this hotel again.

It was nice and acceptable for one night. Room was a bit small, but for the price I can't complain. Night staff gave me a kettle of hot water to make a cup of tea which was nice.

If I went to Nice again I would try and stay between Victor Hugo and the beach. It was just a little to far. But the hotel is between the train station and the beach which is good. The Hotel was clean but it had the cheapest pink toilet paper that disintergrates on contact and is sure to give any woman thrush. Ew.

This hotel is the place to stay at when you want an affordable but yet very clean and easily accessible hotel.We stayed at this place this week for two days.And found it much nicer than another hotel on the same street that we also stayed two weeks ago and payed nearly 30 Euros higher per night.

We stayed here after staying 3 nights at the Nice Fleurs hotel (supposedly a 3 star hotel in Nice) and were pleasantly surprised to arrive at the Little Palace. True to its name it is a little palace of sorts. Staff are great. When we checked in I was quite sick with the flu and the lovely lady on reception allowed us to check in early which was very […] kind of her. The rooms are immaculately clean, nice bath, comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel highly to others. The first sight of Little Paradise disappointed me of the uncomfortable smell in room so I reduced my stay from 3 nights to only one night, However, I've found the room was not that bad. We stayed in triple room for only double room's price. It's quite clean, and there's a hub in the bath room. The hotel is located perfect in 3 minutes from the sea and 10 minutes from the bus station. Was very nice. We took without breakfast. no parking for car so good for those without car.
