We stayed here for two weeks. We fell in love with the area and the staff was so kind. A park close to the hotel where you can work out, lay in the sun or just walk around. Plenty of shopping can be made because there is a nice outdoor "mall" (The Grove) close to the hotel. A beutiful place. I recommend this hotel.

ett bra hotell mitt i Fremont down town men långt borta från The Strip. Det tar minst en halv timme färd med buss till The strip.

Mycket trevligt hotell i ett bra område med liten pool och med närhet till The Grove, la Brea Tar Pits, Beverly center, Hollywood, Melrose ave etc. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Sköna sängar. Rena rum. Stort badrum med dusch. The Fiddler vägg i vägg som är en liten trevlig restaurang med god mat o trevlig personal. Saknar tavlor samt stor spegel […] i rummet ser lite kalt ut på väggarna. Hotellet ligger perfekt i West Hollywood med gångavstånd !! (vilket aldrig händer) till The Groove och till Whoolefoods (världens bästa matvarubutik). Perfekt hotell för häng i LA. Parkering och gratis wifi.

Ett ok mellanklass hotell vid 3rd st. Det ligger hyfsat centralt.Här gäller frukost på stan. Luftkond. skrammlade. Sov med öronproppar. Enda större nackdelen. Kan uppfattas som slitet i behov av rep.

The Grove, Farmer's Market and Whole Food market just two blocks away. Great location. For a 2-star hotel this is very good. The room and bathroom was clean and huge compared to other LA hotels. The housekeeping only gave us towels for two persons for our whole stay so we had to ask for an extra set every night but that was not a problem. Uppfyllde förväntningarna i tidigare recensioner. Perfekt läge till halva priset mot andra hotell i området. Rekommenderas om du bara ska någon stans att bo. Rummen var rena och ok. Inget hotell att rekommendera om gillar det lilla extra eller vill hänga lite på hotellet. Man hör en del av trafiken men som sagt, för att bara bo och bo i West Hollywood […] är det ok. This hotel is just as described--great price for the area. Plain but very clean. No extras, not even a drink machine, but adjoins a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Comfortable beds, updated bathroom, AC, refrigerator. Convenience store and coffee shop within a block. Walking distance to The Grove and Farmer's Market and almost adjacent […] to Pan Pacific Park with walking trails and sports fields. Also only two long blocks to Beverly Blvd with lots of fun stores. This motor lodge is exactly that - a motor lodge. No frills, nothing fancy. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. That was what we were looking for in this one-night stay before moving on with our trip. Stayed for 1 night and was satisfied. Although the room itself wasn't very updated (although very clean), the bathroom was and very nice. Close to all sights in the area (The Grove, Farmers Market, Beverly Center, Beverly Connection and restaurants on 3rd Street as well as Beverly). The staff was very nice and accommodating. Could use a little updating. Direct TV did not have all the channels, including CBS. No pictures on the wall. Everything worked and was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.

Hotel was good for a 2 night stay where the main focus was the location and nearby activities. It was quiet...no elevator...room very ordinary but bed was comfortable. Coffee shop right across the street which was great. Coffee in room bad...none in lobby and no breakfast. Check-in difficult but that was not the hotel's fault. We were visiting L.A. for the first time on vacation. This hotel was great for the price. It is very close to The Grove (a retail shopping center similar to a mall but the entrances are all outdoors), the Farmer's Market, and CBS Studios where they currently tape American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, and the Price Is Right, among other shows. The parking […] is free, although the spaces are a bit tight. We never were without a space though. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were no decorations at all. Just the essentials. The bathroom and the TV were both up to date and decent in size. There were three of us in the room, but room service never gave us more than 2 towel sets. However, when we asked at the front desk, they always provided. The hotel front desk was courteous. I felt safe in the neighborhood. Another reviewer commented that the alley where you park felt unsafe, but I thought it was fine. The back door from the alley was always locked at night(Someone had commented that this was unsecured during their stay.). Because of the price, I would definitely stay again if I returned to the area. The only other area that I may have liked better would be Santa Monica, but I think I would have had to spend a lot more money. Läs mer

fine basic hotel with free parking. walls very thin; awakened by other guests having cell phone calls on stairway outside of room. Management ran 2 separate credit card charges of $100 to cover incidentals on check in, including an imprint, but on checkout only gave back evidence of a credit back on the electronic one; claimed the imprint had been destroyed; […] did not feel comfortable with this from an identity theft perspective but manager did not care. We stayed two nights in this small hotel and were most comfortable. The personnel were great; they stored our five bags for seven hours after our check out so that we could continue sight-seeing before our evening flight out. They are delightful, helpful people. We used LA's excellent bus service and saw a great deal in three days with no need for a […] car. The cost for all seniors between rush hours in only 25 cents. You can't beat that. This hotel is an easy walk to the Miracle Mile which is wall-to-wall excellent museums. Läs mer

Overall this was a great value considering the price. I was a bit concerned about the unsecured parking, but there were no problems during the one night stay. It is no frills, but the price and location made up for it. Could use some better furniture in the room because the table was tiny and the chairs were not comfortable. This was a one night stay to attend a relatives birthday gathering. Based on the area (an older part of west LA), we really weren't expecting much. When we arrived, we found a clean, comfortable, well appointed room. This is a nice hotel. The bathroom could have been cleaner, but it was acceptable. It was apparent that there has been a recent room renovation, […] that was well done. The only real problem was limited, unsecured parking. We ended up parking on the street after arriving back at the hotel in the late evening. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property again. I thought the bathroom/vanity area upgrades were very good. The bed was very comfortable. I liked the amenities provided, except a real coffee mug and more than one packet of sweetener would be better. My only real complaint was the lack of soundproofing-I could hear street noise and other guests. I would definitely stay here again-a good value.

clean hotel that's stuck in the 70's. Exceptionally pleasant staff (why can't all hotels have such nice people?). Old hotel. Barebones amenities. Noisy (even though I was on the back side of the building away from the road). Parking...a definite plus. If I was on my own dime, I'd stay again. If I'm on the company card... I'd stay elsewhere.

Stayed at crowne plaza bev hills last time and decided it try this as its walking distance to office. Great location for me, spacious rooms, large bathrooms and friendly staff at half cost of crowne plaza. Plus, free parking and The Grove is just a few blocks away. Thumbs up.
