The room was fine and adequate for our stay. I had signed up for breakfast in AM which I paid an additional amount when I made the reservation through Hotels.com. When we went down to have breakfast around 9:20am all the lights were off and the restaurant was empty except a young women that worked there. We then noticed that the buffet had been cleared […] already even though it was supposed to be open until 10:00am. The waitress? said we could order off the menu so we decided to do that since we had already paid. We gave her our order and then sat for 15 minutes. We didn't see her again. We received no napkins, silverware, water, not even the coffee we ordered. Several people came in for the buffet, but were wise enough to leave while we sat there When I told the front desk about what had happened I was told he could not reimburse us since we had ordered food and that I had made the arrangements through Hotels.com. He wasn't rude, but he wasn't at all sympathetic as to what happened. I called customer relations for Holiday Inn. They said they would contact the management of the hotel and reimburse my breakfast money. We should see it in about 4-6 weeks. It would have been so much easier to just give me my breakfast amount back since that is all I wanted. Läs mer

The only negatives I have was the heater was extremely loud and we had to shut it off and the pressure in shower was unable to be adjusted and it was very uncomfortable.

Hotel is very clean and very well-run. We enjoyed our stay even though it was a short one. Enjoyed hotel was so close to casino which is a state-of-the-art facility. I would recommend staying here

Nice hotel in a very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and helfpful. The jacuzzi tub in the middle of the room was a bit odd for us, but I suppose if you like to roll out of bed and into a tub full of water...then go for it.

Breakfast needs to start at 6:00am , need to eat and get on the road, Coffee tasted like mule urine. Breakfast was included in room price had to ask for coupon, Coupon should of been given at check in, Had to give a credit for file because we didn't book with Holiday in , had booked with Expedia.

This was family reunion. They gave us a meeting room to celebrate. We even adopted our waitress/bartender. The manager was great, housekeeping was excellent, and just an overall great experience!

We enjoyed it! Unfortunately the pool was shutdown which was the main reason for picking hotel. My 5 year old son was not happy!

There were a couple of pros and cons to staying at this hotel.. Pros: I thought that the room was very clean and well kept. We stayed for 2 days and after the first day, our room was cleaned and well restocked. The beds were also very comfortable. Also, the hotel is located very close to many different restaurants and stores, which to me is a plus. Cons: […] There was no complimentary breakfast, which with two young kids, was definitely a downfall for me. The first morning we stayed, we did eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant but the food wasn't worth the money that we spent on it. My husband, who will eat just about anything, barely could tolerate his omelet and my breakfast sandwich wasn't much better. We also decided to take my two young kids swimming, something that they were excited about, but we got in and the water was freezing AND their were no towels available. Overall: I would rate this hotel average. I thought all hotels, now days, offered a complimentary breakfast and was really surprised when we went down and noticed that is was not. A friend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Hilliard for 3 nights. We were very pleased from the moment we walked in the door. The hotel was very clean and looked very updated. Our room was also very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again myself.

This hotel was a very nice stopping point on our trip west. I really liked the fact that coffee was available in the lobby at all hours. The room was nice and overall a good value for the money.

We stayed in a room with one King bed, and the room was so large, we couldn't believe it! We really enjoyed our stay, and we would recommend this hotel to anyone who is needing accommodations in Columbus, OH!

It was a great hotel, the staff was very friendly/nice/accomodating, and the ammenities were great. B/c of staying there new years eve, there were deals in the dining room, too. And we happened to have the pool to ourselves that night. :) Great time, great facility, right off the highway. I'd stay there again, in a heartbeat. :)

I checked out many reviews on surrounding hotels and chose this hotel because of the convienance of an onsite restaurant and comforting rooms. I traveled 11 hrs and couldn't wait to get a good night's sleep before heading out in the morning to join family and friends at an outdoor birthday party. The night was to say the least, exhausting. The air contioner […] was loud, so loud, it woke me everytime it kicked on. I tried to turn it down to ease the frequency of the noise, but that made the room too stuffy. I visited the restaurant to grab a quick bite to eat, but although the staff waiter was quick to greet me, take my order and bring my food, he was nowhere to be found to request any refills. I had to actually flag him down from his social conversation with the only other customer in ther restaurant. Guess I wasn't a priority. I new of the nearby construction but the hotel staff wsa not what you would say "receptive" to my inquiries. They were more busy with mulitasking than in providing any real warm welcome or eye contact to say the least. For the money, this was very disappointing. I would have been better off at a cheaper hotel down the street. Will not return, EVER.... Läs mer

I travel weekly for work and therefore stay in hotels fairly frequently. The cost to stay at Holiday Inn was 3x as much as the hotel I initially price shopped (they were booked up). Although the hotel was beautiful, I was very disappointed with the stay at the Holiday Inn. Within 10 minutes of checking in I had to call the front desk because the ironing […] board in the room was broken (one of the legs fell off) and the air conditioning unit was making a hissing sound (accompanied by a burning smell). I advised the front desk that the unit was making a weird noise and smoking and that someone should probably check on it. The ironing board was more of a concern for her as she asked me if I needed a replacement that night or could it wait for the morning. I said we were getting dressed to head out so we needed the ironing board that night. She assured me we would have a replacement board that night and made no further mention of the air conditioning unit. My other issue with the stay was the fact that there was no free wireless connection without a wireless card. It took over an hour to get an ethernet cord and the internet connected with the technical support. Not only was the 2 front desk representatives I spoke to a little short with me, but the technical support representative was just short of blatantly rude. My last issue with my stay is the fact that there was no free breakfast. I will say that housekeeping was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. I stay at hotels that are not of the same ilk and are quite a bit cheaper and although not as nice as the Holiday Inn aesthetics-wise they have offered 1)friendly and courteous customer service 2)free breakfast 3)free no hassle wireless internet Läs mer

I have stayed here many times because this hotel is a great value for your money. I usually only stay at 4 or 5 star hotels but keep coming back to this Holiday Inn when I travel through Columbus because it is very clean with comfortable beds and pillows, nice big flat screen TV, FREE internet (which I never get at the more expensive hotels) and an […] upscale feel. Location is great as there are many dining options to choose from in the immediate vicinity, a movie theatre 2 blocks away and you are only 10 minutes from downtown Columbus. The only downside is Rome-Hilliard road (the exit off I-70) is currently under construction which can make it difficult to get around this area; however, it is still well worth this temporary hassle. The hotel was very new, clean, and comfortable. We only stayed one night, so I can't really speak to much about the Hotel service. Nothing wrong with this place! All was as anticipated plus a nice bar and dining area. Had a great steak as we got in late and didn't want to move another step. Wait staff was very nice, and food was great! Recommended to both families and road warriors!
