Great location, friendly staff, but hard bed.

Check in was quick. Front desk was very helpful. Room was big for my family of four. Deck was nice overlooking mountain resort. My only complaint was one bed was broken (mine) and I felt like I would roll off at any moment during the night. Thankfully only one night otherwise I would've asked to switch rooms.

Older hotel but maintained nicely. My wife and I both thought the beds were horrible. Other that a bad nights sleep due to the mattress, not a bad place. Basic continental breakfast was included but the coffee was gross. Great location just off the main square in Jackson. Just a few steps to all of the shops/bars.

Location was great but, room was old, floor squeaking with every step. Can hear everything through the walls. Every shower being taken in surrounding rooms and every toilet flush. Car doors slamming in the parking lot. Don't try to sleep in here. TV did not work at all no stations came in.

I had actually stayed in this hotel about 7 years ago, but I had forgotten how rundown it was. The room was adequate, the breakfast was good. We had a nice room with a balcony and additional views of the mountains. However, we saw two ants on the floor, the plastic flowers were dusty, and the decor is more old, than rustic. Although we checked in real late (9:30 p.m.) the girl said that our room wasn't clean yet. However she said she was going to upgrade us to a king bed (from 2 queens) I mentioned on Hotel.com they were the same price and I couldn't believe room wasn't clean by now? It was fearly ok, the room was always well keep in that aspect it was good, very nice front desk personal, hotel was missing couple of anmenities like tooth paste, razors, sometimes are very convinience when you forget your personal items :( location very convinient because it is just a block away from downtown plaza.

I was satisfied with my stay at the Ranch Inn. We had some plumbing issues but the hotel resolved the problem quickly by getting us to a different room. The room was comfortable and clean and the neighborhood was safe and pleasant.

The hotel was very old but very clean. It was very convenient to the downtown area. The bedding and beds have not been updated in many years, so I was unable to have a good nights sleep.

Our stay at the Ranch Inn in Rapid City was wonderful. First, the reservation with hotels.com had not requested that we have two twin beds and tafter the clerk had helped us upstirs with our bag and we discovered the room was with one queen, she didn't have a two queen room at the price we paid but she upgraded us to the tower where there was an elevator. […] This she did with no cost for the upgrade to us. She was very helpful to tell us about the town and the best places to eat. The room was quaint and very comfortable with a little balcony. The second sink was wonderful for getting ready the next norning, It was the best area to see your hair from every angle because of the three mirrors on th wall. The first impressions usually come from the staff at the outlook of the place we going to stay at and the staff that greets us. I must say that the exterior is not great but the rooms are clean and cozy. More importantly, the staff on duty, Heather if I remember correctly, made us feel very welcome. The ranch inn was a great place to stay for the price. The continental breakfast consisted of toast/bagels/english muffins, cereal, and yogurt. The staff was great in helping us locate snowmobile maps and helping with other questions. There is no parking for snowmobile trailers at the hotel.

My wife and I stayed over after skiing in Jackson hole. Great hotel and front desk staff. Breakfast in the morning and coffee/ tea anytime. Room was clean and hotel is well maintained. Would stay again.

For the location and price this place is great! Clean, large, comfortable rooms. Typical continental breakfast. Only issue is that the room was freezing when we got there and took a long time to warm up. No thermostat, just high and low heat.

I chose this hotel because it was affordable and right in town and ended up booking another room upon leaving because I loved it so much! There was a mix up with our rooms when we got there so we were upgraded to a "Tower Room" which had an incredible view of Snow King. My stay was great and the staff was wonderful. The room was large and quiet. There was a nice covered porch with a table and chairs. Parking was on site inside a fenced lot. I would stay there again and in fact I plan to again in March 2013.

We were amazed to find a motel in Jackson at this price at the last minute. The location could not be beaten - walking distance to the town square, restaurants, shopping. The motel is "old guard;" spacious but no frills. The weather was -1 F the morning we left; the room was cold, as was the lobby and restaurant. We could get our room warm but no luck […] with the public spaces! "Continental breakfast" left much to be desired, even for continental breakfast! I shared one of the balcony rooms with my parents while they were out visiting. I've been to this hotel before and been very happy with the standard double room. But the balcony room blew me away! It was huge! There was plenty of space for all of our luggage on the built in rack/closet, the beds had more than enough space for all of us to move around, […] the second sink outside the bathroom was extremely helpful, and the private balcony was a lovely bonus when we just needed a little bit of privacy. And the location, just a block off the main square of Jackson, couldn't be more perfect for my aging parents. I'll definitely be staying here again! Läs mer

arrived early before check-in and was immediately accomodated allowing us to settle in early and have lunch with all our bags secure in the room. Great location close to many shops and restaurants. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nice hotel, big rooms, beds were okay, breakfast was quite sparse so we just ate someplace else. We had a room with a balcony over Pearl, a quieter street than Broadway. All in all, a great place to stay and we would stay there again.

The wing we stayed in is a bit on the old side. The floor above us creaked quite badly when the occupants were walking around. The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The breakfast bar was just o.k. Jackson Hole as a whole is very expensive. Food everywhere is $$$.

Of the five nights that our family stayed around the National Park, the Ranch Inn was our favorite by far. The room was very spacious and very attractive. The location was ideal for visiting the local shops.

Room was spacious. Had a balcony overlooking the slopes. Was above bar/restaurant so a little noisy early, but quieted down. Nice walking distance to shops and restaurants in town. Great rates compared to other available hotels.

We loved it! Great location and a great view too! We just stayed one night on our way home. We wanted to stay in Jackson Hole to see if it was a place we would like to visit in the future. We walked around town that night and the person who checked us in suggested we eat at Snake River Brew House. The food was excellent and so was the beer. I ordered […] the brisket and my boyfriend had peanut chicken. We are definitely going to stay at this hotel again for a few days next time to check out all that Jackson Hole has to offer.
