Spännande och samtidigt overkligt. Efter miltals körning genom en öken kommer man då fram till något helt osannolikt som heter Las Vegas. Detta var något helt fantastiskt. Det var skönt att komma in till ett tyst och ljudisolerat rum.

Bor du här mitt i veckan får du en bra standard för en billig peng. Stora rum och skön säng. Billig frukostbuffé (ät två för priset för en). Taxi till "the strip" kostade 25 dollar (dricks inräknat). Hotellet ligger på gatan freemont street med den välkända bioduken som täcker en stor del av gatan. En upplevelse att gå där på kvällen och se alla artister spela och den show de körde en gång i timmen på bioduken.

Är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på Vdara. Det var nära till strippen och från hotellrummet hade vi utsikt över Bellagios fontän. Nya, fräscha rum och trevlig hotellpersonal. "Bekvämt och fräscht"
Vi hade en fantastisk "panoramic suite" på 35:e våningen med utsikt mot både the strip och öknen i fyra nätter. Rumet var rent och fräscht, men vi var inte så nöjda med städservicen. Det fanns tex kaffe för en person i en svit där fyra personer kan bo. Det var dåligt med påfyllningen av hygienartiklar. Vid ett tillfälle hade en av morgonrockarna försvunnit. […] Ett par glödlampor var trasiga. ALLT detta åtgärdades snabbt och effektivt av personalen när man påtalade det, men man blir ändå lite störd av att allt inte är tipp-topp när hotellet har så höga anspråk i övrigt. Det värsta som hände under de fyra dagar vi var där var att hotellets pool stängdes pga blåst en dag. En sak är besvikelsen över att inte kunna ligga vid poolen i solen när man planerat för det (finns dessutom ingen annanstans att sitta utomhus i solen). Men det riktigt dåliga var att hotellet för några gäster ordnade så att de fick gå till angränsande Aria och Bellagios pooler, medan vi fick beskedet att "de också ska stänga snart och tar inte emot fler nu". Från vår svit hade vi utsikt över tre andra hotells pooler, bl.a. Arias. Samtliga var öppna hela dagen. Efter att ha undersökt också med Bellagio visade det sig att inte heller de hade stängt. Managern för concierge-servicen på Vdara ljög helt enkelt för oss när han sa att "alla andra också ska stänga", enbart för att komma ur problemet. Illa! I övrigt ett fantastiskt hotell. Läs mer
Som sagt inget casino på hotellet. Fri parkering är bra. 25$ i resortfee/ natt. Dåligt fungerande WiFi. Det tar 1. Min att gå till Aria som har casino. Och Bellagio max 5 min.

Tillbringade en helg i en Penthouse suite på 55 vån , En otrolig utsikt över Las Vegas , ett suveränt fint hotell som rekommenderas starkt .
"Vdara på the Strip"
Det ligger kanon i mitten av the strip. Dock är det som alltid med Las Vegas hotell så stort och det är en promenad att komma ut på gatan. Vi bokade 3 st Vdara Suites på cirka 75 kvm som verkligen hade allt. Stort fint sovrum med jätte skön säng. Vardagsrum och kök som hade kyl, frys, minibar, ugn, spis, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin och torktumlare. I badrum […] med badkar med utsikt över hela vegas och duschkabin. En extra toalett fanns också. Det var jättebra städdat varje dag och snabb och bra service över telefon när vi ringde och bad om saker. Jätte fint poolområde. Detta är ett kasino och rökfritt hotell, vilket vi tyckte var kanon. "Lyxigt och bekvämt"
Vi bodde på detta hotell i 4 nätter, vi är otroligt nöjda med allt som rör detta hotell. Vi hade bokat en panorama svit men väl där så fanns det inga lediga rum på högre plan, (som vi hade önskat) Vi blev därför uppgraderade till ett penthouse. Det var väldigt stort, lyxigt och hade två badrum. Och ett ordentligt kök. Vi stormtrivdes på detta hotell, […] personalen var proffsig och hjälpsam. Allt man kan förvänta sig av ett hotell av denna klass. Läget var perfekt, i hjärtat av stripen. Extra plus till att det gick gratis transportmedel mellan hotellen, "tram" ett tåg som för en mellan vissa hotell. Avstånden är väldigt stora så det underlättade en hel del. Läs mer
"Min vistelse på Vdara!"
Välidgt mäktigt! Bodde på den 54 våningen, hade en svit som jag bodde i tsm med mina två bröder! Hotellet var en upplevelse i sig, otrolig utsikt över hela Vegas. TV i vardagsrummet, Sovrummet OCH badrummet! Eget kök med mikro, spis, kyl - och frys. "Hotel Vdara/Spa&Suites - Best experience ever!!"
Me and my friend stayed in a panoramic suite for 4 nights and we will never forget when checked in and saw the AMAZING view from the suite. We stayed at the 52 floor. The cleaning was perfect and also the location. A very friendly staff and if you had any problems they would help you directly. The pool area was simply amazing. Nice hotel, does not have casino, which for me is an advantage, I hate going through the casinos every time I want to go to my room. Clean, modern, very good service. On the negative side: One day when I arrived to my room in the evening it was not yet cleaned. I had to pay an extra 20 dollars per day for a "Resort Fee". Hotels.com is not clear about […] it, and when I checked in, they did not inform me. "City Corner Suite is amazing"
Pull out couch was incredibly uncomfortable, but after a call they made it up with pillow tops and comforters which made a world of difference. Had to call twice for toilet paper as they only had 1 roll in the room. Kitchen didn't have any silverware or dishes which was odd, but once we called it arrived right away. Views are amazing, pool is small […] but very nice and we loved not having to walk through a smokey casino to leave the hotel. Bonus factors include walking distance to Aria, Bellagio and Cosmopolitan. Great stay! We will return to the Vdara. Läs mer
"Poor service"
We had to wait about 20 minutes to check in. They didn't make the sofa bed after we requested it. No glasses in room and nothing but bare cabinets in the kitchenette. Even in the bar/restaurant they assumed we didn't want to order food, so they never asked. Pretty good location, but a ways off the strip.
"Service could be better"
It was clean, comfortable, and close to the strip. It also had a great pool. But, our toilet was broken, and the staff took their time to bring extra blankets.
"Great place for the price"
The rooms are designed like a small studio, equipped with small kitchen and appliances. The bed was super nice. I only expect double sheets, but it had triple sheets. Bathroom was nice and big. It had a separate tub. Walls are well insulated so we didn't hear much loud noise. It wasn't stuffy like other gambling hotels, the air was fresh and easy to […] breathe. "Very disappointing"
After arriving late at night with our 2 children we just wanted to check-in and go to bed only to find the sofa bed had not been made up and no linen provided to do it. After 2 phone calls and a visit to the front desk we were told that we should have requested the sofa bed to be made prior to arrival??? I would have thought that common sense would […] be enough to know that a booking for 4 people in a room with only 1 bed would require the sofa bed to be made. Once made and ready it proves to be very uncomfortable for the kids with them able to feel the springs in the mattress. The convenience of a kitchen is made very inconvenient with not a single utensil, pot, pan or plate in the room. Then upon check out the extra $28.00 a day fee for use of the gym, pool, wi-fi and bottled water (whether you use them or not) is yet another unpleasant surprise. We did find the non smoking and no casino suited our family however next time we will look elsewhere. Läs mer
"Not as good as expected"
Considering it is a 5 star hotel, I was disappointed. It was not bad, but not amazing. Shower had no water pressure and bed, although super comfortable, was very warm with no air vent overhead. "Wonderful Experience"
We were able to check in early and were given a quiet room on a high floor, as requested. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and did an excellent job on the four days we stayed. The bed was amazingly comfortable, as were the pillows. While relatively compact, the room was very well insulated and tastefully decorated in muted browns with a splash […] of lime. The bathroom was spacious and I loved the deep bath. We were also given a complimentary late check out which was appreciated as we had a thirty hour trip ahead of us. "Very Poor Service"
Elevators were always packed. Housekeeping had to be called for service. Room did not have robes (which my girlfriend loves). I call housekeeping to request they bring up the robes...they never did. I could not get the pool/cabana reception to answer the phone. I called four times. The last two times I called I left a voicemail requesting a call back...they […] never called back. I had to go down to pool in person to make reservation. On day of service they requested a credit card to keep on file, then lost it and didn't tell me. What a mess. Beautiful hotel, but HORRIBLE experience. I stayed at mandarin oriental two weeks prior and had a 5 star experience. There are too many options in Vegas to settle for poor service. Läs mer

"Nice Hotel!"
We spent 2 nights in this nice hotel. The only negative thing is the quality of service. We had to call 2 times to have our kids sofa bed set-up and we had to call 2 times for a problem with the safe but nobody came to fix it. Room and bathroom were clean. Very good location!
"Service/Room a Disappointment"
We arrived at the Vdara at 9:30 a.m. Although check-in was not until 3:00, we hoped to get in our room earlier as we hadn't slept in more than 36 hours. No luck. We weren't given a room until 3:00. When we arrived in our room, the television set was not working, and a technician had to be called. A light was out in the shower that was never repaired […] although requested twice. The dining/living room area was a nice size, and we used the washer/dryer and extra bathroom, but the bedroom was small and dark. My trip started out rough airplane troubles , delayed flight etc. Everything went well at check in but after getting to my room and preparing to take a shower i found a dirty t shirt in between the towels in my room. I called the front desk, spoke with Derborah and explained the situation. Deborah was extremely apologetic but even more helpful she stated […] she would waive the resort fees which i did not expct and offered to switch my room. "Vegas without the constant reek of cigarettes"
Vdara is relatively small (for Vegas), but plenty luxurious. Since there's no casino, you don't have to walk though clouds of cigarette smoke wherever you go. We were always happy to get back there after being out in the casino resorts. The staff was great and the beds were super comfortable. Cool modern decorations in the lobby and rooms. A little […] bit of a walk to get LV Blvd, but worth it to have a refuge from the Vegas insanity. Went with family (2 kids, 9 and 11) and they had a good time in the pool. We did not receive a 1 bedroom suite as we had requested. In order to have a 1br we had to move and pay $40.00 per nite extra.

"Expensive and low quality food"
There is no coffee maker in the room. There is a fast food chain looking cafe. I paid $37 for a pancakes, a a mexican brakfast plate and tea, coffee. The food wasn't worth for that amount of money at all. The rice tasted like a frozen food. Pancakes were so bad that we exchanged with French toast.
