As an owner, i chose to stay at South Beach Resort because of many reasons. First one being that I'm an owner, secondly, the customer service is awesome! The resort has so many amenities, so many features that once you arrive you feel like you're at home on vacation! This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very well kept and when we went they were remodeling all the rooms. Our room had already been done and looked really good. There is plenty of room and you definitely feel more at home than you would at a regular hotel. The only issue I have is they do try to get you to tour this facility and other facilities […] they own to try and get you to buy a time share. We were only there for two nights and didn't want to use the little time we had touring. The guy seemed kinda shocked by the fact we didn't want to do it and acted as if we were an inconvenience. I was soooo excited to get this booking for our family Fall break vacation - my husband was in from Afghanistan, and this was the first of a two week trip. He and I went on to Florida for our own trip the next week. At first, he was upset that I didn't book "on" the ocean...but the he realized that the hotels on the ocean were pretty unkept overall....and […] our Club House was great! There are a lot of pools, a pool bar, lazy river and nicely outfitted rooms with a small refrigerator, kitchen sink & basic kitchen amenities, lovely screened in patio and a comfortable sitting area. I was told that this hotel was ocean front hotel. It's not. It has shuttle that takes us to ocean front but little hassle. Also, the hotel is very comfortable. Only thing is that a maintenance knocked on my door 5AM TO FIX MY AC THAT WAS WORKING. No one followed up to see what's happening so I called they said they went to wrong room AT 5 IN THE MORNING. The beds were very uncomfortable to sleep, I did not rest very good. There were several pools, but the pool water was hot, pointless for trying to cool off. They charge for movies, in which I thought should have been free with you stay. I wouldn't recommend this resort.

The only thing that I didnt like was they didnt clean the rooms daily for you. Other than that it was perfect...

This was my first trip to Myrtle Beach so I wasn't sure about the location when I booked it. When we got there I was a little disappointed because it far from Down Town myrtle beach but after being there for 1 day, I realized that this was actually a great location. You have to drive just about everywhere anyway in Myrtle Beach so being away from the […] noise downtown was worth it. The rooms were very nice and clean. My family of 5 stayed in a 1-bedroom suite which was a stretch for us but the 2-bedroom was not available. The sofabed was very uncomfortable but what hotel has comfortable sofabeds? The main pool area was awesome and only a 1 minute walk from our room. They had activities throughout the week for adults and kids. It is really a great place to stay. Our deluxe king suite was about 1/2 the size of a regular hotel room. All one room. Pictures from website were very misleading. With that said, the room was extremely clean and to me, this outweighs everything

Took my 11 and 15 yr old to get away for a few days and from the time we arrived the staff was wonderful and helpful. We never had an issue checking in/out and the villa was clean, updated and fully stocked with towels and supplies. All we had to bring was our clothes and groceries. The rooms were very nice. The housekeeping staff needs some training. Our floors were filthy. We had them come and scrub the kitchen and bathrooms. The carpet had many stains, and needed cleaned and the screened in porch needed cleaned! To stay here again I would have to be guaranteed this improvments had been made.

Very good location, near beach, ocean side club/ pool/lounge. Only dislike was the studio we had didn't have a king size bed. (had a queen bed and sofa sleeper) for two, we would prefer a king. Nothing was be changed to acommodate, even when we tried to up grade.

You may want to call the resort before booking any suite, you may be surprised at what you will and will not be getting. We assumed that all resorts and hotels would at least give you room service and fresh towels during your stay. Wrong, instead they give you access to a washer and dryer for you to wash your intial set of towels.You'll have to ask […] for washing powder so they say. Didn't enjoy this stay at all. If we could have gotten a refund we would have stayed any place else. Worst part of our stay, no hot tub in our room and we had to go to another building to get ICE. Go figure! Läs mer

Was located in a great area and easy to find. The rooms very great. Whenever I go on vaction this is where I would love to stay.

My brother-in-law passed away quite unexpectedly and we needed places for the family to stay. We had several rooms and they were quite comfortable. Maintenance was wonderful with quick to fixes to a running toilet and a late night smoke alarm battery. Thank you. The desk staff was helpful also. The only minus was in the two bedroom suite, the bed in […] the extra bedroom was two twins pushed together and not comfortable at all. I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was very clean, up to date and very comfortable. The location of this hotel is great because it is very peaceful and away from everything but still close enough to enjoy activities. I was very pleased with the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. I will definately plan on staying there again

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Club Vacation Resort -South Beach (Myrtle Beach). Our villa was very nice and clean and we had a great view overlooking the 40 person Hot tub. The resort itself was nice and had a large waterfall pool near the hot tub as well as a clubhouse indoor/outdoor pool with a hot tub and lazy river. it also offered a work […] out room, sauna, and game room on site. The hotel was very nicely furnished. Everything was clean and comfortable. There was nothing that we could have asked for as everything was available including beach towels. we were looking for something nice reasonable with two bed rooms and the place was beautiful very clean.

The hotel looks more like a resort destination, as we drove up to it we were amazed at the appearance of the hotel and the landscaping. The room we had was a suite, beds were very comfortable, everything worked(we did have a problem with the dishwasher disposal and it was fixed within a half hour),the kitchen,appliances and bathroom were immaculate. We found a good deal on this hotel and decided it was best for the money (full kitchen, all the amenities). The room was great, staff was very courteous, close proximity to beach (we drove when we went), grocery store nearby. Overall, we were very satisfied. This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The shuttle service to the beach was great and never had to wait going to and from the beach. The front desk was most helpful and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to my friends.

We were thrilled with everything concerning our stay. It was wonderful!
