Hotellets läge med egen liten, välskött strand och utsikt över sjön från terrassen där vi intog vår frukost och middag var underbart, dock tyckte vi att trafikljudet från den näraliggande vägen störde idyllen något. Vi hade gärna bott med lite kortare gångavstånd till andra trevliga restauranger.

The hotel offers an extremely relaxing environment and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The hotel is clean, the staff is helpful and friendly and not extravagant in any way. It is suitable for both lovers and families. For the price you pay i have a hard time seeing you can get anything better. The hotel did not have internet connection which […] for me was great, then i could definitely relax and have a real vacation. I have nothing bad to say about this place other, it offers exactly what i want from a vacation by the Garda lake, relaxation, quiet, beautiful environment and amazing surroundings and good food. Two recommendations is "Il Cortiletto" a nice restaurant in Maderno, a 20 minute walk from the hotel with great classic food better than on most places around. In the nearby town of Saló you have a restaurant by the waterfront called La Sirena, amazingly good food and very affordable. Enjoy your stay by this microclimate that the Garda Lake offers. Läs mer

We had a wonderful stay at this beuatiful hotel. The settings are lovely and the staff was realy helpful. Breakfast on the terass was one of the highlights during the day. We can strongly recomend!!

Trevligt hotell med trevlig personal. Läget utmärkt vid vattnet och med härlig trädgård. Lägg gärna till lite pengar och ta ett rum med balkong mot vattnet. Det är en bit att gå, ca 2 km utan trottoar, in till Madernos centrum med restaurangen. Det finns dock en pizzeria tvärsöver gatan som är en starkt trafikerad genomfartsväg.

The hotel was all that I had imagined; it had one of the most comfortable beds we encountered on our 17day trip around Northern IT. The pillows were the MOST comfortable. The view of the mountains and lake are breathtaking; we enjoyed breakfast outdoors on the terrace overlooking the lake: "Priceless". A lovely hotel, right on the lake! A beautiful patio to sit and have breakfast or drinks, overlooking the stunning scenery. The road was quite busy & noisy sometimes, but that didn't effect you, once inside. You need a car really, as the buses were a bit hit & miss. Taxi to Salo was 15 euro each way & great to hear all the live music in the streets […] in August, certain days. The hotel staff were very helpful with working out transport for us & where to go. I'd like to give the hotel a 4.5 rating (4 I think is a bit mean, but not quite a 5) We stayed for one week in mid June 2012 and throughly enjoyed it - very relaxing atmosphere, pleasant staff, relatively quiet location. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone just wanting to chill out & relax - if you want a lively nightlife etc look elsewhere. It's […] hard not to like the place & people, but just a couple of things that could be improved:- 1. The shower flooded the bathroom floor on pretty much every occasion. 2. There was no 'daytime' food or snack menu - so if you want to eat then it's a 20/30 minute walk to the nearest cafe/bar. 3. The hotel has an exceptional location, and is close to a small town with most necessary conveniences, including restaurants, supermarkets, gelateria and a cross-lake ferry. Staff were really helpful, they offered us extra eggs when we were late for breakfast and printed us a map when we took a day trip to Milan. Dinner at the hotel was convinient on our first night and the food was alright. Private beach was small but sweet.

The hotel is right on the lake and has a beautiful view of nearby Tolscano, i would recommend this hotel to couples over 40& not for single girls or guys holiday, the hotel was extremely quiet during the day& evening, the hotel did not provide a lunch service which meant you had to go to the nearby town 10-15 minutes walk for food and there was no vegetarian […] option on their evening menu. We stayed for a week in June and had a lake-view double room. The room was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view over the lake. The breakfast buffet was very nice being served on the terrace by the lake. As it was served from 7.30 - 10.30am there was no rush to get down to breakfast and meant that it wasn't too busy. We stayed on a B&B basis […] but ate dinner in the restaurant a few times. The food was excellent but the menu was a bit limited. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The town is about 15 mins walk and is also pretty quiet. It probably would not appeal to anyone looking for a more activity-packed holiday. We would definitely recommend this hotel. If booking through expedia beware that transfers from the airport are not included and it's pretty expensive to book a transfer separately. We did an extensive search and the cheapest transfer we found from VRN airport to the hotel was 180 euros (return). Läs mer

I loved this hotel and didn't even want to leave! A beautiful location right by the lake with a magnificent view. I was especially impressed that our room had two floors - on the first floor was the living room, the bathroom and the balcony, while on the second was the bedroom. There is a magnificent public terrace on the second floor and a wonderful […] restaurant onthe ground floor overlooking the lake. The waiters and hotel staff were brilliant! hotel was great, really clean, beautiful terrace for breakfast overlooking the lake (great views), helpful staff. We ate at the hotel one night and they had no vegetarian main course (lots of choice for fish and meat) but they made one especially for me which was great. not far to walk into tolscalno moderno and as per previous reviews, there is a walkway […] all the way there. we got the ferry across from here to malcesine for the cable cars up the mountain. The hotel and staff were really excellent. We were quickly made to feel at home. The evening mean was a little expensive for what it was. My friend and I tried out the public transport and enjoyed a day at a town which was an hour away by bus. The staff were willing to help with the times of transport if you asked the right questions. This is a beautifully well kept hotel with welcoming, helpful staff. The views are absolutely stunning from the room windows and each room has it's own sun loungers and access to the garden for those staying on the ground floor. Stunning location, right on the edge of the lake. The view from our room was amazing from the snow capped mountains to the lake lapping on the shore just below the balcony. Our first morning we were able to breakfast on the terrace in glorious sushine. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located around 15 minutes walk out of sleepy Maderno. Maderno has a lovely long promenade which you can stroll along and take in the views and atmosphere. Gardone Riviera is only 30 minutes down the road and has more up market restaurants and shops. You would really benefit from having a car as buses, ferry's, trains do not link up with […] each other i.e. you can reach Riva by bus but would have to return by ferry. Timetables reduce from 1st October 2011. It is motorbike and bicycle heaven. Saying that; Lake Garda is a beautiful place and well worth a visit, but to really appreciate its beauty you need at least 2 weeks and more. I loved it and look forward to returning again. Läs mer

The hotel staff have to be the friendliest I have ever met. When we arrived late at night the hotel kitchen was closed and we wanted to get dinner. As we didnt have a car, the hotel manager put us into his car and drove us into town. all the restaurants were closing so he brought us back to the hotel and opened the kitchen and fed us. For this alone […] I would have to reccomend it as a fantastic hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. it is within ten miutes walk of the town. The hotel probably could not be in a better position, right on the lake shore with fantastic views across the lake. The night life is not amazing, but for a quiet break in the sun it is fantastic. This small hotel delivered good value for money. We stayed in a standard room and when we arrived I felt it was rather basic for a 4 star hotel being of the quality and finish of a good Premier In from the UK. Tiled floor, shower Plane wooden furniture but of a clean and tidy finish also including a sky tv and mini bar. However opening the patio doors […] we were on the garden with private sun loungers 10 meters from the lake beach with stunning views over the bay this was the best bit. Staff were friendly and the position and views were great. Breakfast was average , again clean but basic for a 4 star hotel. The terrace was fantastic and staff always available to serve drinks but no menu or price lists provided. The hotel did a dinner menu but really was not geared up as a restaurant. so few people used it. We did not. In summary this hotel is not a high luxury venue but is in a good location with good staff and is clean and tidy. Being a small hotel and not promoting the hotel as a restaurant the hotel was not inviting people to eat in. However its price was such that it was on the cheaper end of 4 star so I would say its good value , in great location and clean and tidy with a great garden and beach location. Läs mer

Have just returned from a week stay. Small friendly hotel with nice rooms, good location and own small beach. Breakfast was good though with a repetitive menu. Staff very helpful. Worth paying extra for lake view room as view is stunning and inland view rooms subject to road noise from close by busy road. Would stay again if returning to area.

Nice lake view hotel with private beach. Good price and good location in Moderna Tascolano. The breakfast was excellent, the room is smaller than it looks in the pictures they provide. Two story rooms. The "master" is upstairs. Downstairs there is a sofa bed which is good for the kids. Overall, it was a positive experience, though there was no wireless […] and the "USB internet cables" were few and far in between. I personally liked limono betetr than Maderno which is on the other side of the lake, but is probably pricier than Moderna. Läs mer

This hotel is fantastic! the view of the lake from the terrace bar is breath taking! the staff are wonderful and so helpful. Just a short walk along the beautiful lake side into Maderno where you will find shops bars and restaurants amidst beautiful architecture. the ferry port is only a few minutes walk from the hotel where you can visit everywhere […] else around the lake, gardone riviera, a short walk from the hotel is stunning and a ferry is available to Sirmione. The hotel has a small private beach and an area to sunbathe in the garden, no need for a pool as the lake is clear and beautiful for swimming, if a little stoney, reccomend to take jelly shoes! The rooms were light airy and spacious with a gorgeous view from the balcony. Possibly the best trip we've ever had, and was mainly due to the excellent and accomodating staff who still served us at 3am on the terrace whilst we were star gazing and watching a distant thunder storm! we end of june and the hotel was quiet and peaceful and weather was hot! We definately would reccomend this hotel to anyone and will be going back very soon! Läs mer

Gut gelegen direkt am See. Zimmer zum See sehr schoen, grosszuegig, gut ausgestattet. Ansgenehme Fruehstuecksteraslse, Strasse stört nicht. Nur das Restaurant bzw. Den Speisesaal haben wir als sehr kuehl empfunden.

Hotel insgesamt nett gelegen, unser Zimmer war renoviert, wenn auch mit nur sehr mäßigem Erfolg: Die Dusche war so konstruiert, dass nach dem Waschvorgang das gesamte Bad unter Wasser stand. Glücklicherweise gab es jeden Tag genug Handtücher um diese zum Aufsaugen der Fluten zu verwenden. Die ebenerdigen Zimmer liessen sich nur über die Terrassentür […] lüften (nur Auf/Zu Funktion, Klappmöglichkeit bestand nicht...zu unsicher, um nachts in Italien bei offener Terrassentür zu schlafen, also Tür zu und stickige Luft bis zum Morgen ertragen). Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war laut und brachte eher wenig. Das Frühstück war an Eintönigkeit und fehlender Auswahl für ein immerhin 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht zu übertreffen. Frisches Rührei z.B. wurde nur nach beharrlichem Nachfragen nachgereicht...schliesslich war noch altes vom frühen Morgen im Warmhaltegerät. Abendessen ist nicht zu empfehlen, die Küche ist eben nicht die Stärke dieses Hotels. Ich wills hierbei belassen. Das Hotel war ok, wenn man ein Bett direkt am Gardasee sucht...mehr aber definitiv nicht...das Hotel können wir also nicht weiterempfehlen. Einziger echter Lichtblick war die gegenüberliegende Pizzeria (nicht zum Hotel gehörend...erste Sahne!), wir haben dort mehrfach richtig gut gegessen. Läs mer

Hotellet, som er en lille perle, ligger helt nede ved søens bred og fremstår som et rent, pænt og meget hyggeligt sted. Altid pænt og rent samt velholdt. Ligger få minutters kørsel fra byens centrum. Kan varmt anbefales!

Alles in Allem ein super Hotel. Am besten ist natürlich die hervorragende Lage direkt am Ufer des Gardasees, sodass man zu jeder Tageszeit schnell im See baden kann. Im angrenzenden Park und von der hoteleigenen Terasse, auf der man auch prima frühstücken kann, hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick. Da kommt Urlaubsstimmung auf. Es waren immer genügend […] Liege- und Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Das Frühstücksbufet war lecker und reichhaltig. Zu den anderen Mahlzeiten kann ich nichts sagen, da wir nur Frühstück gebucht hatten. Aber direkt gegenüber befindet sich, ein bisschen unscheinbar, eine gute Pizzeria in der man preiswert essen kann. Durch die Lage an der Hauptstraße um den See ist immer ein gewisser Geräuschpegel vorhanden, wer aber nicht allzu sensibel ist sollte damit klar kommen. Von den Zimmern sollte man nicht zu viel erwarten (kein Luxus), aber sie sind ordentlich und funktional ausgestattet. Das Hotel kann ich auf jeden fall weiterempfehlen wenn man gerne viel Baden will und eine ansprechende Umgebung sucht. Läs mer
