My wife and I live in the area and stayed here for a night out. We loved it! It is super modern and chic. My only 2 small complaints are the desk chair in my room had crumbs in the cracks of the seat and the bar is WAY over priced, even for a hotel(my redbull and well vodka as well as a soda was $20) Otherwise, great. Really neat concept of exposed concrete. Rooms are clean. However, the AC in our room did not work at all. We were quickly moved to an adjacent room. This room must have also had HVAC issues. The manager ensured the AC was working prior to him leaving us. However, it only operated for a short period of time.. We tried to get it restarted. Overall, I had a great stay, but I did have a few qualms: 1. Man working desk upon arrival was very rude. The gentleman after him was very pleasant, but I encountered the rude one again in the morning, to my dismay. 2. The kitchen staff was also unfriendly; I called to ask when the kitchen closed and they said 9:00, then when I tried to place an order […] at 8:30 they huffed at me for ordering so late. When I went down to get my food there were still tons of people sitting and eating, so I'm not sure what the deal was. 3. The soundproofing is minimal at best. All Good but training issue as front desk told me when I called in advance that they'd pick me up at DFW but when I landed and called they said they don't do pick ups at DFW. It was determined that the misinformation was provided by a new employee. Aside from that was a good stay.

Room was a bit small but otherwise perfect. The bed and shower head are amazing!! I wanted the mattress for myself but it wouldn't fit in the trunk :( and I didn't have a wrench for the shower head. Off to Walmart I go!

I took my husband on a daycation and we fell in love with this hotel! From the fragrance in the lobby, to the beautiful decked out pool with an outside bar, everything looked great! The room was very lofty, and the lighting was very sensual. The bathroom was very bright, but nice. We even had dinner and drinks at The Loft. Food was delicious with a […] nice presentation, but of course a bit pricey. The library and lounge area was nicely decorated, they even had a free billiards table. My only disappointment was that the sushi bar was closed, which was one of the reasons I purchsed the room. The NYLO is a really cool, hip, and trendy hotel. The service was okay--nothing special, but the look of the place is certainly great.

Very comfortable bed. Loft room is large, cool contemporary design. Breakfast poor quality and choice. Toilet reported as faulty on first day but no action taken. Aircon unit behind headboard and noisy. Light pulls not reachable from bed though there is a motion sensor nightlight.

Had a quick stay this time but as always the room was clean & comfy, the design of the hotel is always hip & trendy, and the staff was helpful. The price was awesome for the quality of the room/hotel. Haven't been able to utilize the beautiful pool area yet but we definitely will be enjoying it on our next visit in May.

No one at front when we got there, the lobby was cold and dark. We would not stay here again. Our room was like a jail cell. Concrete walls and ceilings. Our bathroom at home was bigger. No stars!

Loved the hotel! Very urban and unique- my 11 year old daughter had never experienced such a cool Hotel before- she LOVED the pool area with the outdoor beds and heated water. Great showers as well- strong water pressure. Beds are cozy. Sofa was extremely firm- comically so, but it was fine. This was an amazing hotel. The staff seemed a little distracted but eventually were able to help. The room was beautiful and very modern. Pool was great with bar side serve. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a nice stay at this unique hotel. I wanted to try something different for an in-town getaway and it was a fun experience. Could hear a lot of talking from the room next door. I guess due to the type of construction in the loft-type building. Overall, it was fun and I would do it again for a change of pace.

My only complaint is that the attendant wasn't at the desk when I arrived and I had to wait for about 10 minutes or so but once he arrived he did apologize and offered me a free appetizer on him for being patient. Other than that hotel was great, comfortable bed, love the shower but the sliding doors to the restroom is a little noisy and annoying because […] you can her the neighbors as well. I also love they way NYLO has an restaurant and bar area so you really do not have to leave. Can't wait to visit this summer had room view over the pool area. Great night out overall!!!!! Läs mer

My husband and I needed a little Spring Break getaway and decided our 18lb terrier could come along. Pros: great restaurant/bar, convenient location, comfy bed, spacious room, pet friendly, clean rooms-concrete floors and walls Cons: sliding bathroom door was EXTREMELY hard to move, glass loft overlooked the parking lot-not the pool or courtyard area […] as mentioned on website.....There was a wedding party during the weekend we stayed. I stayed a couple of nights for work and overall it was a pleasant and modern 'New York loft' experience with a few minor glitches. Most of the staff, especially in the bar, were extremely helpful and nice. The room layout is cramped, especially at the door, which btw, is VERY heavy and slams shut when you let it go even for a second - tough to get […] out if you have multiple bags to get in/out of the room. The walls and floor are concrete - part of the loft experience - which made the room seem really chilly when we walked in from a cold day. We didn't hear noise from the other rooms but the heavy door doesn't shut out hallway chatter. During the night, we did hear odd plumbing and duct noises coming from the ceiling, must be the hollow concrete design. The most disturbing design glitch is in the bathroom. The glass shower wall (at least in the king room) doesn't extend to the ceiling so noises and 'scents' coming from the bathroom drift into the entire room. Be sure you are staying with someone who doesn't mind hearing/smelling such things coming from that room. Overall, I'm glad I tried this place out. Decor is a little over the top but part of the experience. The pool area is beautiful and the staff helpful. There are plenty of decent restaurants in the area but it does seem removed from the rest of Dallas life. Would I stay again? Probably. The price is good for a comfortable, more stylish hotel stay than normal. Läs mer

The hotel was beautiful and we loved our room! The only issue we had was with the cable. The front desk clerk was rude when we called down but I'll just assume that was to make it feel like a real NYC experience. If I'm in an area with a NYLO hotel again, that would be my first choice to stay.

I enjoyed my stay here and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely come again and refer it to others. I felt that the price I got it at, was indeed a steal. The front desk was super nice, the rooms were amazing, beds very comfortable, and the shower was too relaxing. The only thing was when running the A/C it was leaking the […] water in the room. I was not prepared for that so I sort of got my belongings wet. Since my stay was so pleasant, it was of my least concern. So for those who are looking for a great hotel with nice staff and cleanliness this is the place. I know the reviews can be tricky sometimes but I have no negativity for this place. This hotel was completely amazing. very friendly staff and the room was the nicest room i have ever stayed in. it was perfect for our valentines getaway weekend! i would love to get married here, and have suggested this hotel to all my friends for a weekend getaway. i will definitly be staying there again!!!!

The hotel was nice but customer service needs to improve. Anytime we called the hotel, even before we stayed to get information on the hotel, it took a few calls to get a representative. We even called doen to front desk at hotel and no response. When having diner and drinks in the resturaunt area, my girlfriend had a martini wwith some fruit in the […] drink which the blueberries had fuzz on them. They replaced the drink but did not even have the courtesy to give us that deink for free, and waitstaff was slow and it was a very slow night. I did love location and the bed was very comfotable. This hotel is beautiful and modern, extremely comfortable in a developing area with plenty of food and shopping nearby. Service was pleasant, room was spotless and nicely decorated. Really enjoyed the romantic scenery of the entire hotel. The restuarant was even nicer. ABSOLUTELY LOVED the room: the decor, view and contemporary style. Normally my husband doesn't have much to say about hotels we stay at, but this one he complimented about it from the time of check-in until check-out. LOL Will definitely visit again.

Incredible hotel! Great atmosphere, great resturant and bar downstairs, the pool was open and heated, within walking distance of a Mexican resturant that has 2 dollar mimosas on Sundays! La Madeline, gas sation, starbucks and other great restuarants are right around the corner, the ranch steakhouse is right around the corner, very close to the galleria, […] easy to find, and great service! The hotel was clean but overall just average. My husband and I chose this hotel for an anniversary get away. The room was extremely small. The lighting was awful (making it difficult to apply my makeup). The airconditioning was not very strong so we were warm most of the stay.
