Det var ett bra hotell. Vi bodde i ett trippel rum 21 kvm. Det var precis lagom stort. Allt som man ville se låg på bekvämt avstånd. Mindre en 2 km bort. Vatikanstaten var det enda som vi inte kände för att gå till, (ca 3,5 km) en taxi kostade för oss tre 8 euro. Helt ok.

"A casa di mei, Rom"
Bed and breakfast i Roms värsta och kriminellaste kvarter. Stenhårda sängar och frukosten var endast skorpa med sylt. Gick inte heller att betala med kort. Trots detta var iallafall personalen trevlig och rummet och toaletten var rena. Har man inte så höga krav och vill ha ett billigt boende så fungerar detta.Verifierad gästrecension

The B&B?? No way, its a poor hostel! Far too much money for what you actually get. Unconfortable and hard bed, breakfest its 1 prepacked old croisant, 1 slice Of prepacked hard toast and disgusting jam! "long weekend"
Close to the centre and within walking distance of everywhere.Man at the hotel was very nice. Gave us extra pillows. Nice fluffy towels. Very safe could walk back late at night.. Everything was great would stay there againVerifierad gästrecension
"Excellent Value but Payment was a Hassle"
This hotel is in a convenient (though not exactly fancy) location. The proprietor was friendly, spoke several languages, and did everything he could to make our stay comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. The wifi was a bit spotty, but was included gratis, as was breakfast each day (typical continental breakfast of toast, jam, coffee, and […] croissants). We did have an issue with the credit card machine being broken. It was never mentioned during the booking process. We were told about it at check-in but were under the impression it would be fixed during our stay. For whatever reason, that never happened. The last night, we found a note on our bed saying we had to pay in cash the next morning. "Nice B&B next to City Center"
I booked my stay at this B&B (A Casa de Mei) online days in advance, and sent them my flight information as they requested. When I arrived around 3 PM there was no answer to my knocking or door bell ringing. Two hours later I was greeted by the “owner” that told me that he came to see the property by chance and that he tried to reach me at the number […] I listed with hotels.com (my Phoenix number). I must note that another couple from Greece waited with me for about an hour and then left to find another location to stay. I stayed for three days at “A Casa De Mei” and my overall stay was OK. The room was clean; they setup the bed each day. The in suite bathroom was clean and new. The shower enclosure was cramped and had “half door” covering only the shower head area keeping the rest open. The breakfast was a small roll with jam and a cup of coffee/tea. The attendance was very pleasant and always smiled. When I offered to pay the bill the credit card machine had some problem and cash was a preferred option but when I told him that I needed the cash and credit card is the only option the machine magically was fixed. The facility is a short walk from the Termini (Rome train station) and a 15-20 gentle walk to the coliseum and other city center attraction. I it is also very close to the subway. I found walking early in the morning having breakfast near the train station then walking to my destination until late in the evening and then just take the subway if I am too far to the “Termini” (everyone know how to direct you to the “Termini”). If I had to “label” the area I would call it Chinatown with a strong immigrant influence. It is safe as long as you keep your eyes open and keep out of the local’s way. So, if you have a local phone (so they can call you) or arrive before 1:30 PM (end of the attendance shift) and do not mind the “industrial Chinatown area” then this location is a good choice. Throughout our stay the owner was happy to help and easy to talk to which made the stay more enjoyable. We were in a room which had a bathroom located outside but this turned out to be no problem and the bathroom was very clean. "Limpio, centrico y correcto"
Cerca de la estacion de termini, 400 mts de la entrada aprox., y cerca del Coliseo, en un edificio de la Plaza Victorio Emanuelle, el personal habla español, correcto, la habitacion muy limpia y el baño (q en nuestro caso fue exterior) tambien muy limpio y todas las instalaciones a nuevo. "Friendly owner"
Our flight was late and after arriving to A Casa Di Mei it was already really late night, still there was someone waiting for us as they promised. Room was clean, bathroom did smell a bit funny, breakfast didn't include anything fresh except for the coffee, the credit card machine was still broken (I quess they will never fix it beacause it has been […] broken so long), wi-fi worked great, metro was near by. We arrived by a taxi but when we leaved we wanted to take a cheaper ride and the owner told us about the airport bus that leaves from Termini every 20 min and goes to the airport. "Billigt og rent og pænt uden den store luksus."
Den lille Bed& Breakfast ligger bekvemt tæt på Metroen og når man lige får øje på det lille skilt på døren er det let at finde. Man skal ringe på mobilnummeret på skiltet for at blive lukket ind, men en flink og engelsktalende mand nåede frem på under 10 minutter.Stedet er ikke superflot, men der er pænt og rent. Vi havde værelset med bad på gangen […] og det lå lidt langt fra værelset, men var privat. Så det fungerede OK. Der var venlig betening til den simple morgenmad - og god kaffe! Hotel bardzo fajny, czysty, a Pan podajacy rano sniadanie jest przekomiczny. ;) Polozenie umozliwiajace szybkie znalezienie sie w prawie wszystkich "historycznych" miejscach, nawet na piechote. Sprzatanie co 2 dzien, internet 6M, wskazowki dojazdu do roznych miejsc wiszace na tablicy korkowej w korytarzu, klima, czysta lazienka, TV ale bez kanalow miedzynarodowych. "安くて便利で結構キレイなホテル"
安くて地下鉄の駅が徒歩1分くらいで、なかなか部屋もキレイです。簡単な朝食もでましたし、フリーのWi-Fiも使えるのがいい。ただ入口が見つけにくいです。いわゆる普通のホテルっぽい入口だと思ったら普通の古くてすごく趣のあるマンション？のワンフロワーがホテルというか、民宿みたいになってます。なので入口は大きなドアになっていで、1階がホテルなのでインターフォンで呼び出してドアを開けてもらう必要があります。そこがちょっと手間取りますね。けどなかなかいいホテルです。エレベーターとかすごく古くてなかなか日本じゃおめにかかれない代物なのでそれも面白いかとおもいます。Verifierad gästrecension
"Meget fint hotel"
Hotellet er helt fint :) Det ligger tæt på metro , hvilket virkelig er fedt for det gør det så nemt og hurtigt at komme rundt. Og så ligger det meget tæt på Hovedbanegården og der fra kan man komme hurtigt og billigt til lufthavnen ! Og så er hotel virkelig fint i forhold til prisen .Verifierad gästrecension

Otelin yeri fena değil. Tren istasyonuna çok yakın. Gezilecek yerelere ulaşım kolay ancak çevresinde çok fazla göçmen var. Rahatsız etmiyorlar ama kendinizi çok da güvende hissetmiyorsunuz. Otelin levhası sadece doğru binanın önüne geldiğinizde dikkatli bakarsanız görüyorsunuz. Biz baya dolandık, polise sorduk ancak bilmiyorlar. Odalar (banyo-WC içinde) […] düzenli, bakımlı ama daha temiz olabilirdi. Sahibi biraz agresif ama Orlando çok tatlı ve yardımcı biri. Kahvaltı çok basit. Sadece öğün geçirmek için hazırlanmış. "Pleasant and lovely stay, with a very nice manager"
The outside of the building was very deceptive, once you got inside it was shining with marble stones and clean atmosphere. The manager was a lovely and helpful man. The place was quiet so one got a full nights rest with no problems. The beds were a little hard for our taste, so if you like soft beds, bring a small inflatable madras. Bathrooms were […] clean and nice, shiny marble floors and all the facilities one would need, apart from washing clothing. The service was very good and Orlando was so nice to us. Don't expect to much of the breakfast! The bed was a little hard. The cleaning was super! "pas un hotel mais un bed&breakfast pas fameux"
pour le prix, c'est une arnaque. je suis arrivée à l'adresse indiquée à 13H, personne. j'ai réussi à faire appeler le responsable du B&B ( alors que je pensais avoir reserver une chambre d'hotel, avec quelqu'un à la reception à toutes les heures de la journée) par un voisin. il me dit au telephone que sa pause dure de 12 à 14h et que par conséquent, […] je dois attendre. je suis à la rue bloquée avec mes bagages, à attendre. Si je n'avais pas eu ce coup de main de la voisine, je serais partie et hotel.com m'aurait quand même retenu de l'argent pour la reservation. une fois à l'interieur, c'est très sommaire mais propre. par contre, je suis tombée malade à cause de la fine et unique couverture qui recouvrait le lit. la chasse d'eau avait un probleme d'ecoulement. et le petit déjeuner, 2 biscottes et un semblant de croissant dans un sachet plastique. en me baladant dans Rome ensuite, j'ai vu des hotels bien mieux pour le même prix. Chambre minuscule. Beaucoup de bruits dans le couloir qui fait office de salle à manger (portes, verrous bruyants). Terminal carte bancaire en panne. Immeuble vieux et fatigué. Quartier un rien inquiétant une fois la nuit tombée. Heureusement, les transports en commun sont tout proches. "Sauber aber zu teuer"
Das Casa di Mei liegt im chinesischen Viertel in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Die dortige Umgebung empfiehlt sich nicht für Reisende mit Kindern oder allein Reisende da sich dort nachts nur Gesindel rum treibt. Die Zimmer an sich sind sehr sauber, leider hatten wir ein Zimmer mit einem Fenster zum Innenhof das keine Sicht auf den Himmel zu lies. Aussicht […] war somit nicht gegeben dadurch jedoch sehr ruhig. Nur in der Zeit von 8.00 bis 13.00 kann eine Anreise bzw. Abreise erfolgen da sonst niemand da ist. Die Tram welche ihre Haltestelle quasi direkt vor dem Haus hat fährt alle paar Minuten zum Bahnhof was sehr praktisch ist da die Metro Linie A bis April 2012 ab 21.00 Uhr wegen Bauarbeiten geschlossen ist.
