Hotellet utmärkte sig genom sin otroliga service och vänlighet. Jag, min man och vår 1-åriga dotter kan verkligen rekomendera detta hotel för denna prisklass.

This was my second stay Hotel Budapest and I have been very satisfied both times. The location 10 min on foot from the stations is perfect. The rooms are of normal size but have what you need. And the breakfast is EXCELLENT!! I will for sure stay here next time in Sofia.Verifierad gästrecension

"Fine for the price, but read the details"
Budapest Hotel is a tidy establishment on the outskirts of the city in a dingy neighborhood. It offers free on-site parking and accepts pets, two of my requirements. The room was adequate and the staff polite. In the basement is a restaurant where breakfast is served. The offerings were limited but tasty. Quite frankly, there is not that much to see […] in Sofia. But what there is requires a 15-minute walk. I walked it with the dog without problem, but some people might be disappointed with the location. It must be highlighted that the front rooms face Budapest street, which is a problem. I thought the Krakow trams were the noisiest on earth. But Sofia's are even noisier. We were very disappointed with the restaurant. We always eat at the Budapest even when not staying overnight. This time the menu has been changed - not for the better. The steak was tough, the meal cold. The wine we ordered (for 18 lev) was not available so the waiter brought another wine which he said was a very good price. It was mediocre and we presumed […] it would be 18 lev also. When my husband went to pay the wine cost 33 lev. We complained at the reception desk because we wanted to give the hotel a chance to make amends - they didn't. So, sadly we are having to air our grievence here. Very nice hotel, new, the stuff very helpfull and extremely polite. The only problem that we had was with the sofa bed which wasn't very comfortable for the kids. Perhaps they should consider a room with 4 proper beds just for families with small kids or teenagers. But otherwise everything was up to our expectations.Verifierad gästrecension

Hotel is well kept and has friendly staff. Only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. Just got done with a 2-week trip involving 7 people, so we have stayed at a lot of hotels in Macedonia and Bulgaria over this time. We recently stayed here for several nights after reading the other great reviews. They did not disappoint. My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one night. Plusses are the very helpful and kind hotel staff, a tasty and well-varied breakfast, a clean, nice interior and pretty spacious hotel room and walking distances to important sights in Sofia. Hotel Budapest was about 20 minutes from the airport. We had arranged a transfer on the way but caught a taxi on the way back which was very inexpensive. The Hotel, which was only a few years old, was excellent value for money and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was excellent. Very nice room, quite big, a delicious breakfast (buffet) and a truly designer hotel. Great place to stay if you are arriving by train and leaving by train. Gard Du Noord is 500m away. The hotel is basic and really is designed to sleep only. The room is modern, however if you prefer your sheets to be changed everyday you will pay to do this. The Wifi is only in the lobby but your room has wired internet only if LAN cables are available. I chose the Hotel Budapest because it was half way between the centre and the train station, which was really useful as we had to buy onward tickets to Istanbul and then take our luggage there the following day. Very friendly helpful staff, modern hotel convenient for access to airport (10 lv taxi), but best it is very close (400m) to the main bus and train stations. Also convenient for Sofia City Centre (10-15 mins walk, but learn how the trams work - 1 lv and just pay the driver - brilliant. Hotel map has all the tram and bus routes. "gutes Hotel in der Nähe des Zentrums"
Hotel ist zu empfehlen, da die Zimmer groß und sauber sind. Täglicher Handtuchwechsel, innerhalb von 5 Tagen 1x Bettwäschewechsel, Freundliches Personal. Frühstücksangebot ausreichend, allerdings gab es nur zwei Sorten Wurst und jede Tag die selbe. Der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet.Essen im Restaurant sehr gut und preiswert. Da der Kühlschrank warm blieb […] und sich auch nach mehreren Beschwerden nichts änderte, erfuhren wir, dass er nicht zum Kühlen da war, sondern um die Temperatur der Getränke auch bei Hitze konstant (warm) zu halten. Eine Empfehlung an den Leiter: nicht mit Kühlschrank im Zimmer werben. Umgebung des Hotels ist schrecklich, traurig, dass diese ehemals so schöne Stadt immer mehr zerfällt. Het was een lekker hotel. Ligt alleen in een wat vervallen buurt. Ligt vlakbij het centraal station van Sofia en zo'n 15 min wandelen vanaf het centrum. Op zich te doen. Was wel alleen behoorlijk heet waardoor het toch wel een flinke afstand werd. Stopt op de hoek van de straat zo'n 2 min lopen ook een tram naar het centrum. Is natuurlijk alleen wel […] even goed uitzoeken met die bulgaarse taal. Restaurant heeft goed ontbijtbuffet. Avond eten daar raad ik echter niet aan.
