Hotell Holiday Inn San Antonio NW-SeaWorld Area - San Antonio

Just spent one night - chose it because of its proximity to Sea World. Worked out very well for us. Free breakfast buffet was wonderful and had super service from our waiter, Chuck! Thank you!

Overall, thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The only complaint was the floor in the indoor pool area is very slippery when wet. My granddaughter slipped and fell and I almost did so. Other than that, everything was great.

My vehicle was broken into on the first night, the lighting of the parking lot was horrible, I filed a report with hotel, I was very dissapointed!!!!

My husband, myself and 2 boys (5 and 10) stayed here after a day trip to SeaWorld. The pool area outside was great, with tables, umbrellas and chairs for us to relax and soak up the sun. We were impressed with the Sports News restaraunt as well. The service was great and we all four loved the pool tables and dartboard. Our stay at this hotel was very nice & clean. If your goin to sea world i recommend this hotel! The girls at the front desk was very helpful & polite. Restaurants not to far from this hotel.

Nice hotel. Stayed here for 1 night. The only issues was the breakfast is at the adjacent restaurant and on weekdays they do not have a buffet.

The hotel in general is pretty good, the only problem and it is major is that the walls are really thin, not that my neighbors were screaming but you can hear taking from both sides and even in the hallway, in short we woke up sever times every single night we spent over there and I'm sure I will not stay in this hotel again.

I check in with my wife and 2 children and we only got 1 set of towels and when we asked them for towels, they never arrived. We called again and they said, they are in the dryer .... so we ended up havinf a shower with the same towel. Also the breakfast sucks, cold oatmeal, not even a spoon for brown sugar and raison, service is very average. It was […] not a good experience at all. Läs mer

This is a great place to stay if you're going to SeaWorld. There is a large retail area with Target and restaurants nearby, too. Our only complaint was the relatively cramped room with two queen beds.

The hotel was fine but I requested a rollaway bed before and it seemed no problem. But when we got there they said no because it would be over the limit per room. We had 3 adults and a child. There was no room for one anyway. The shuttle also took 40 min. from the time we called to pick us up at seaworld. The breakfast was great and the service at desk […] and restaurant very good. We went to San Antonio for a Boy Scout merit badge clinic at the college. My boys really enjoyed the indoor pool and the gentleman at the front desk was so good with them. They had packed their bags the night before and was going to put their toothbrushes and deoderant in the next morning, well of course early and before school they forgot. So, at bedtime […] i said go down to the front desk and ask the gentleman for a toothbrush. They went down and he teased them and said all he had was pink, he was just teasing. Hen they had to go ask for deoderant from the same gentleman. He was very friendly and im glad he made my boys laugh. Very pleased with our stay and we definately will stay there again. Läs mer

I was fairly pleased with the hotel itself in regards to location and cleanliness. Multiple things have continued to occur that have given me an overall negative feeling about my experience with Holiday Inn. At three in the morning I called the front desk for some medication needs and no one answered. I went down to the front desk and there wasn't anyone […] there. I looked all around and couldn't find anyone or any signs about what to do after hours. After trying to go back to sleep the amount of light coming in from the hall into the room made it difficult to fall back to sleep. The person in the room next to us had their TV on loud. There was nothing I could do about it though since no one was at the front desk. I walked back down to the front desk around 5:00 and there was a guy there. I ask him about available medication and he stated that they did not have it at the hotel. I was needing children's Tylenol. I asked him where I should go to get some and all he could suggest was a gas station on the corner. I would have been nice if he would have offered to help me find a drug store so I wasn't wondering around in the middle of the night in a very unfamiliar area. As of today we noticed that our credit card was charged $40 by the hotel. We paid for our room in full and after talking to two different employees at the hotel today I have still yet to heard back on what it is. The only other thing we can think of is it is related to our bill at the sports bar. Our bill was $39 Including tax. The charge was for $40 Though so we want to know if we are being charged forty bucks for something else or if they added another dollar to their tip. Which if that is the case we have some major concerns with that. All things were small, but added up would probably stear me away from staying at the hotel again. Läs mer

Our 2nd visit at this Holiday Inn, located ~10 minutes from 6 Flags. Very clean hotel, with helpful staff. Has an indoor swiming pool which the kids loved.

The hotel was great. Nice pool. Nice restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Provided shuttle to Sea World. Great room with comfortable beds.

I have no complaints about this place! Great location, friendly staff, VERY CLEAN and best of all they have a shuttle to & from Seaworld! The bar & grill there has an excellent bloody mary also. Kinda pricy though for it but it was good! Overall it was a great place to stay. I will stay here again the next time i come to SA to go to Seaworld!

Overall, the hotel is good. Only wish it had a microwave and fridge in the room. The toilet also backed up twice. Had to call maintenance to fix it. The hotel had a shuttle ride to sea world, so that was a plus. Apart from the flaws listed above, the hotel is good.

Location was great. Our family lived close by and we were close to many attractions. But the management took good care of us.

The hotel shuttle service alone, make this hotel worth the stay. Drop-off at Seaworld every 20 minutes and pick-up after 1PM from Seaworld every hour on the hour. That alone saved us $60 in parking fees! The hotel lobby and pool are very nice. My wife and I slept horribly on their pillows! Next time we'll bring our own. The maid service left something […] to be desired. They neglected to empty 2 full trash cans in the room, wet towels left on the floor were not replaced with new ones. But these minor issues will not deter us from recommending and using the hotel ourselves in the future. Läs mer

This is the ONLY hotel my family will stay at when we go to Sea World. This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. We love EVERYTHING about it.

Well it was a hassle to check in early and when we finally did get checked in early 1 hour before regular check in time our room wasn't clean but dirty. Then we had to change rooms amd that took another 15 minutes. Our room had no refrigerator amd we not got fresh towels even when we called for them. The room service never answered the phone and I couldn't […] even get service when I went in person to the sporting News restaurant. Not happy with the service. Läs mer

Nice hotel. Good value. Free shuttle to Sea World is a great bonus.

Rooms were not very sound proof. Heard everything from the room next door. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Great room service, food and service was great.

Hotel was excellent. Friendly staff and hotel transportation was fabulous!

The coffe pot was missing the strainer. Thus the coffee pot was unuseable. It was approximately 6pm when we checked in on 7/15 I notified the front desk. I never received the parts for the coffeepot. So the next morning I was forced to buy coffee from the downstairs counter.

I'm still amazed on the shuttle servie provided , the gentleman Jeff was the most helpful and kindfull driver.

We had requested via telephone message twice and hotels .com requested a rollaway bed when we made the reservation. When we arrived all the beds were taken and no one listened to the telephone message. When we asked for extra blankets and sheets for my grandson the man told us they found an extra bed so we were very happy. When the bed arrived my allergys […] and my grandsons became so bad that I needed to give him a breathing treatment that night and the following morning. The only reason we had the breathing machine with us is because I refuse to take him without having it because of unforeseen occurrence. I think either animals have slept on them, because this is animal friendly hotel, and they never clean it properly and they surely didn't clean the blankets and mattress protector. The Hotel was clean, however the breakfast was terrible, powdered eggs and all. Would recommend to eat somewhere else. Seaworld Shuttle was a disaster. Was to be a t Seaworld every Hour, spend time sitting and waiting and calling twice before the shuttle showed. Seams to me they are having problems organizing drivers. The food not good its horrible.

The hotel fit our needs perfectly, it was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle to SeaWorld was great. The drivers were promptly available to us when we were ready to leave and return. The hotel restaurant staff were excellent as was the food. We would stay here again.

Booked this hotel because it was close to Seaworld. Got into bed and noticed mouse droppings in linens...both beds. Checked out of hotel.

This hotel only has 2 elevators and if it is busy you do not have the option to take the outside stairs as these are for emergency only. The restaurant service was horrible. Go somewhere else and eat.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! It is way over priced for a hotel I would consider a 2 star....not 3. The beds were totally uncomfortable and when I asked the front desk for extra shampoo and conditioner, they gave me a bar of soap and said that's all they had. Really? For paying as much as we did I should be able to get another tiny bottle […] of shampoo and conditioner. I have a family of 4 and one little bottle of each (with 2 girls) is ridiculous for the amount of money we paid. We attempted to order room service and the food was horrible. They charged us extra for french fries and didn't give us my daughter's veggies. On the menu it specifically stated that it came with a side and veggies but for some reason none of the employees knew what was stated on the menu...not even the manager. My husband had to argue with 2 different people before they took the charges off for the crappy french fries. On top of that there isn't even a free breakfast. We could have stayed somewhere much nicer with a free breakfast for way less. My advice...DON'T STAY HERE! Drive a few extra min away from Sea World and stay somewhere else. Läs mer

It took over two hours for the sports grill to prepare s total of 3 appetizers!!!!! That was my husband going downstairs to pick it up, it would have been another 30-45 minutes if we would have had it delivered to out room!!! Very disappointed!!!!

great hotel. only one thing that disapointed us was the slow room service from the restaurant. we ordered our food at 9 pm. we got it at 10:00pm. Also we went to the restaurant around 4pm and we had to wait almost 40mins to get our food. good food, breakfast buffet was very good. overall a great hotel. restaurant needs to be quicker with their orde […] rs.
