Good location, clean big and quiet room, OK breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Location OK, close to airport and OK to Portland. Extreme value for money - unless you expect 5-star luxary for budget money

Vi stannade två nätter och är jättenöjda, mycket prisvärt. Tryggt gratis garage, varm frukost, pool, fräsha rum,ca 20-30 min med bil från Boston. Personalen var trevlig och korrekt. Rummet vi fick först hade lite dålig intenetteckning vilket jag påpekade varpå vi erbjöds ett annat utan några som helst probem. För priset som vi betalad per natt så är detta hotell det absolut bästa och mest prisvärda boendet vi haft under våran kust til kust resa.

"Good Room"
Great hotel, however there is no site for onsite parking. You have to park at an adjacent parking garage with an extra fee. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were very nice. It is a bit of a walk to the center of town, but worth the stay.Verifierad gästrecension

"Nice hotel - skip the water view"
We had a very nice room with a great kitchen. The hotel pool and whirlpool were really nice. This hotel is not in the middle of the main shopping/dining area. It would be an easy walk in the summer, but a bit too long and cold in early spring. I would definitely skip the water view - it is not at all scenic.Verifierad gästrecension
My Wife and I loved the size of the room and the cleanliness of it. Two issues though, one the heating system was so load, it kept me awake. The other issue was the bread spread / comforter was very, very thin.Verifierad gästrecension
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very well maintained. My 3 year old enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately we had an incident outside the hotel. We found a parking spot the first night right in front of the entrance to the hotel and when we returned to our car the next morning the whole driver's side of the car was keyed. "overpriced"
for what they charge, room service would be nice. Maid kicked us out of our room to clean cause her shift was ending.... seriously???? "Quick escape"
My wife and I enjoyed a quick overnight break during our recent Christmas visit to Maine, We loved our studio room and the general amenities of the inn. Even though there were many families staying due to the Christmas break, our room was still quiet. There was a snow storm overnight so the food delivery truck was late to show so the morning buffet […] was limited to those who showed close to the cut off. "This hotel has a serious problem..."
Although the location and the condition of the hotel is adequate, the overall quality of hotel service is very poor. The quality of service was so bad that the front desk officers were not trained enough to process check ins and check out properly, with lack of understanding of guests. "Great home base for exploring Maine"
Very helpful staff. Room was attractive and roomy. View of roof on next building over was disappointing and air exchange was noticeable but not annoying. Really liked the kitchen and cooked a few meals there. Breakfast menu changed slightly everyday and had nice variety. "Almost like a B&B"
All around excellent hotel.....a great location, staff were friendly and pleasant, free shuttle back and forth to airport---we checked out, stored our bags at front desk, and came back at 6:30 that evening for the shuttle......the complimentary breakfast is a real breakfast, with something for everyone--including eggs, bacon, good coffee--what bonus […] this all was. The best part of our experience here was the room...not your typical hotel room. It was comfortable, interestingly laid out, totally clean, an excellent bed, and a terrific water view out to Peaks Island. We'll definitely come back to this hotel next time we get to Portland. This hotel was awesome. It had some bad reviews and I don't know what those people were talking about. The rooms were huge and extremely clean... They had Paul Mitchell products for you to use. Everything worked as expected. The bed was clean and comfortable, which was the most important factor for us. Surrounding area was quiet. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning system worked quietly. Breakfast was free but limited choices. We arrived at 7:00 PM, tired and didn't want to go out for dinner. The hotel hosted an evening social with enough […] snacks that we skipped dinner. "Overall Great Stay"
We typically stay at the Hilton but it was booked. We stayed here and it was to our benefit. Our room was bigger, breakfast was great with enough variety to please my whole party. We were still in walking distance from the Old Port. We will definitely stay again!Verifierad gästrecension
"Nice hotel"
I am extremely picky about hotel rooms and usually try to stay in only 5 star places but that was not an option in Portland. However, this hotel was great. Clean, plenty of room, kitchen space was nice, and amenities were fine. It was a bit off the area where the shopping, sight-seeing and restaurants were but still within walking distance for most. My husband and I stayed at this hotel as a little getaway...fist night away from three kids in over 4 years! It was clean, and although our room had a faint wet dog smell when we first entered, we were willing to overlook that. The overall feel of the room was great; however, we ended up getting maybe 2 hours of sleep that night due to a loud whistling […] sound that frequently occurred, as well as a loud rumbling/banging in the walls (a/c system?? pipes??). We debating changing rooms, but by the time it was unbearable, it was 2am and we were tired and didn't feel like getting up, getting dressed, moving bags, etc. We kept thinking "this has to stop". It didn't. All that said, the reason I give this hotel a 4 was because once we discussed this with the manager the following morning, he was very sincerely apologetic and took 1/2 off of our bill. Although it was a tad big annoying that when we said we had some loud noises during the night, he said, "Oh, the whistling??" so obviously it's a problem they've had before. He also suggested not to stay on the 1st floor next time we come, as that is where the whistling occurs (randomly, every few months??). Even after that horrific night of sleeping, we would stay again because we were well taken care of when we voiced our issues, all of the staff were exceptionally nice and it was in a great location for our needs.
