This was a very last minute trip. It was not the best but still good. I would stay there again.

Great Hotel if you're a college kid who wants to party. Music blared, kids screamed and jumped around till 5:00 am. After contacting the hotel staff at 1:00 am, no attempt was made to quite the kids. The place was totally wrecked the next morning with trash and beer cans all over the place. We even had to call the hotel staff to have the hot water turned […] on. The breakfast was a joke. It consisted of coffee, loaf bread in Tupper ware containers and stale cereal. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone (unless you're a college kid unconcerned about getting sleep). The Mountain View Inn is not the Four Seasons but is comfortable enough for the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, with a refrigerator and microwave. There are lots of little things that this hotel lacks, but it is a warm bed to sleep in for a very reasonable price. Next time I'm in Dillard, I'll be sure […] to stay here again. Läs mer

I liked the motel very much. The only thing that I had with the room, was the toliet did not work like it should. Something that maintance could fix with ease. Other than that I was very much pleased.

The Mountain Valley Inn meant all of our expectations very friendly staff, hotel room was clean and very close to stores if you do not have transportation you will still be able to get around to buy things the stay was very pleasant and would definitly go back again.

Rooms were big and parking was very good. Staff is responsive. For the price and location, a good value. Don't expect too much from the breakfast, but the Dillard House has a wonderful brunch.

We wanted a cheap, cute, hotel on the way to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Nothing fancy, just a nice place to sleep with some local character. And that's exactly what we got. Sure, the room was a little old, but it had a great view, was right off the highway, and right next to a great Mexican place. Just what we were looking for.

Pretty setting, clean rooms, friendly staff and ice cold a/c - we will be staying there again.

Shortly after checking in, we tried to use our room telephone and it was broken. We called front desk and the lady there assured us that someone would be down soon to fix it or replace it. NO ONE EVER CAME!!!!! We were blessed to have cell phones for local calls. This hotel room was ok; I don't think you'll really find anything that any nicer in the area. It was really hard to find a comfortable setting on the A/C for the room - it was either too hot or too cold. The room had kind of a musty smell to it, and I had problems getting the one light over the sink to turn on while trying to do my makeup in the morning. […] The sheets were really low thread count and the blankets looked a little worn, but everything was clean. Not a bad hotel, just definitely not a great one either. Oh, and there is a $15 fee per pet!!!!! We checked in thinking we were paid in full, then the guy saw our dogs and told us about the fee, so be prepared to either pay or be sneaky about your pets! Läs mer

I have been to many cities and stayed in different Hotels, but the one which I stayed this weekend was a nightmare. There was no security, the service was not good. No Iron Board in the room, I had to collect it myself from the Lobby. Overall complete lose of my money for a night stay.

Stayed here for a quick one night getaway. Perfect for what we needed. Staff was friendly, check-in was easy, and room was very clean. We had a kind size bed, table with 2 chairs and also an additional chair, fridge and microwave. Excellent for the price!!

The Hotel was in a very quiet location. The only problem we had was that after checking in the front desk called to say there was no water, but they had called for repair. The front desk called in less than an hour to say the water problem had been resolved. Good place for a one or two night stay.

A friend and I went trout stream fly fishing on a branch of the Chatooga river. We needed a reasonably priced hotel in Dillard, GA. The Mountain Valley Inn was just that. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The price was right. I would definitely stay there again and will recommend the hotel to my friends.

Great stay....very nice rooms for the age of the motel. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel is quite old in comparison to the other hotels in the area - but I would choses this hotel again in the future if I were to stay in that area. My only criticism is the "continental breakfast" is very minimal.

My college daughter and I went to view the waterfalls in Highlands for her Spring Break. We brought our dog so the hotel was a good place to stay because we could bring him with us. Also it was close to the main road so we felt safe and did not get lost. The antique malls and shops close by were great to do on a rainy day. It was an overall great one […] night stay. Läs mer

Way over priced. Dump.

Management was friendly, the room was clean and the heater worked but that is about all I can say in the pro column. Everything was unplugged and we had to coax the mini refrigerator to come on once it was plugged in. I also had to take a cold shower because I couldn't get the water temp. regulated the next morning. My husband said there was a trick […] to it. Also, the continental breakfast was very minimal. Great location for getting around the North Georgia mountains. We had a large comfortable room and the front desk was very pleasant and helpful people. The breakfast was nothing special. We would stay here again but pay more for the larger room.

a somewhat older motel which on first glance looked a little rough because of some wood which needed painting and repair. the room however was large, clean and comfortable. a nice back balcony which looked out onto a neat yard and shrubs. although we had neighbors in the adjoining room, there was almost no noise. nice pool and children's play area. […] would recommend the motel and will definately stay there again.
