Hotell Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites NEAR SEAWORLD - San Antonio

One night stay was a wonderful. We were visiting family in San Antonio for Easter Day. We wanted to be rested after a 4 hr drive. Wonderful staff, room and location. Thank you so much! The only down side...would be the thin walls. You can hear someone yelling in the other room at the kids...LOL.

Solid room, great location near Seaworld, plenty of eating options nearby. Extremely adequate complimentary breakfast. Parking on site is a little limited, worked with me on early check in. Very solid four star for the value conscious.

First family vacation to San Antonio and sea world. The hotel was clean. The front staff was very pleasant. There are 2 things they need to change. One, the time of day house keeping comes to your room. They waited till 5:30 (both days) and They need a better breakfast .

I took my family to San Antonio for vacation and chose this hotel because it was close to Sea World and Fiesta Texas. The hotel staff is fantastic and will attend to any need you have immediately. The bed was soooo comfy that I didn't want to get up in the morning. There are plenty of places nearby to eat and the location is convenient to the area attractions. […] The only drawback was the pool and jacuzzi needed to be cleaned, but that is a minor issue in my book. The hotel was very nice and clean, my family and myself enjoyed the saty. The only thing I would say I did not like was the shower, the water presure was very low, but I still managed to shower in the morning, otherwise I would stay here again.

It was a relief to walk into a room and not feel disappointed from the appearance. Everyone in my party enjoyed the stay.

We stayed nearly a week and we really enjoyed our stay. All the front desk staff were very nice, the maids did a great job replacing our towels daily, the pool was clean, and the breakfast was amazing! This newly built hotel has a few problems that need to be worked out. The TV in our room did not have sound. Maintenance responded quickly to our complaint but was only able to restore the sound to a few channels. The A/C in our room was very noisy. It sounded like a bicycle wheel with a baseball card stuck in the spokes. The handles to the dresser/cabinet […] was broken. The refrigerator was also located in this cabinet. The seal on the refrigerator door is so tight that when you pull on the door to open it the entire refrigerator slides out of the cabinet. The hotel was difficult to find using our GPS because the hotel and the road it is on is so new. The staff was very professional and nice. They responded well to our complaints. I'm sure much of problems we experienced were because the hotel was so new that the staff has not had a chance to work out the bugs. We recently stayed at this hotel the first part of August. The hotel was nice, clean, and in a safe area. There were some great eating places close by and the hotel had a great breakfast in the mornings!! We would definitely stay at this location again!!

The hotel was very easy to find (right off the interstate) and very easy to get to. The surrounding area is newer and a mixture of business and residential. Right in front of the hotel is a Sonic and a Walgreens is within eyeshot. Other major grocery stores, Walmart, and plenty of causual dining & fast food restaraunts are within a five minute drive […] (both directions). The staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel is very new and thus the design and decor are very contemporary. Everything looks new and clean. The beds are soft and the pillow cases are labeled "firm" or "soft" (first time I've seen that). The wireless internet connection is fast and they have free coffee downstairs in the late afternoon/evening. They also have a 'suite shop' with basic items, drinks, and snacks for sale. The room had a decent amount of towels (3 washcloths, 3 hand towels, and 4 bath towels). The pool was an ok size. The in-room coffee was pretty strong and breakfast, which opens at 6:30am, was standing room only by 9am. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan, which isn't a huge negative but is inconvienant. And they didn't put trash bags in the trash cans. Again that is probably minor but not a very clean practice (even though they looked spotless). Seaworld was only a 15 minute drive away. All in all we had a great time and I would stay here again no question about it. Läs mer

Hotel was nice. Could tell that it was newly remodeled. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast could have been a little more variety and kept replenished. Had to usually wait to be able to get any food. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable!

We checked in about 7PM after touring the Alamo and the River Walk. The receptionist was expecting us and was very friendly and helpful. Although they hadn't yet started using the Priorty Club "Welcome Bags", she told us to pick a bottled water and a snack from the small convience store right in the lobby. The room was clean and everything was in place, […] AND the air conditioning was already set to a confortable cool temperature. The outside air temp. was 105 degrees that afternoon. The swimming pool was convienient and well kept although the pool water was not as clear as I'm used to, it could be they use bromine instead of chlorine to disinfect the water, in which case the water would not be as clear. Hotel.com indicated that the check out time was noon, but the posted check out time was 11AM. However, when I brought this up to the desk person, she told me to take until noon, if I wanted to. Check out went as smooth as could be desired. The free breakfast buffet left a little to be desired. The orange juice was watered down, the breakfast tacos were limp and unappitising. The room, although large, was very crowded at 9AM. Whole milk and 2% were available, I would have prefered having skim as a choice. All things considered, I would definatly stay at this Inn again. This hotel is brand new! Only a couple months old! I loved the room and service! Location is perfect for Seaworld visit. Will definitely stay again!!!

My husband and I had a great time while we visited San Antonio. We went to Sea World for our anniversary. The hotel staff was very nice and they had a Hot/cold Continental Breakfast which was good. This location is about 15 minutes from Sea World so for us it was great. Our only concern was that the speed limit is 55mph before you have to make a sharp […] turn to enter the street for the hotel. The other cars seem to speed by so it was a little hard to slow down to make that turn. My husband said that all the streets are like that in San Antonio. So if your a native your probably use to it but it was a little scary for me. Overall the hotel itself was great! Also, there are alot of family's with children so it's not the best for a romantic getaway. Läs mer

We stayed here while visiting SeaWorld and the National Shooting Complex, VERY convienient to both. The room was okay, beds were very comfortable and the pillows were great. The only recommendation I have for the room concerns the bathroom. There was one small robe hook on the back of the door, NOT enough to hang 2 towels on! A towel bar on the wall […] and next to the sink would be great. There was no vent, fan, or heater in the bathroom at all making it damp, cold and humid. We like to shower before bed and hang our towel to dry for the morning shower; however since the only place to hang a towel or the bath mat was over the side of the tub, we all had damp towels the next morning....not fun. I had to ask for shampoo every day, as they only left conditioner and lotion. The lighting was dim in the bathroom too. On the up side, breakfast was great and always seemed fresh. The staff was very busy making sure it was fresh for everyone, even the late eaters. Coffee was hot and fresh as well. The pool was a bit small and was overcrowded most of the time. We tried to remember to take our room towels because there was never any pool towels left. I used the laundry facility and it was clean and enjoyable, with one washer and dryer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, it was convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful. Just remember to ask for extra towels and shampoo, and swim in the afternoon, it wasn't crowded then! Läs mer

This hotel is very new and very attractive. The location to Seaworld is very close and it is also easy to get back to the hotel. They also serve a good complimentary breakfast with a lot of great options!

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express near Sea World was great. The staff was very friendly and the room was so comfortable. My son was very comfortable and slept like an angel thanks to the comfortable bed. In the future we will definately be back.
