I didn't expect much due to the cheap price and some other reviews that I read before I got there. The motel was better than i had thought, big room that didn't smell and lots of tv channels. They also cleaned my room every day, even though I left at 2pm two of the days I was there.

Vår vistelse på Hilton Portland & Executive Tower var mycket bra. Perfekt läge mitt i centrala Portland (där allt i centrum ligger inom gångavstånd), trevlig hotellpersonal och god mat i hotellbaren. Rummet skulle må bra av en liten uppdatering men i övrigt har jag ingenting att klaga på hos detta hotell. Jag kommer förmodligen bo där igen vid nästa vistelse i Portland.

Mycket trevligt hotell med trevlig personal. Gav oss råd om billig parkering när deras var full (den var till och med billigare än deras egna). Dock dåligt att disk inte var diskad när man använt ett glas eller så. Fanns inga disktillbehör för att göra detta själv.

A freshly remodeled small hotel in downtown Camas was a bargain and more. A quiet little hotel had such charm and hospitality it is on our to do list anytime we get near southern Washington State. Hotel is in the middle of the cute little town, there is only street parking so you may have to park a block away. Railroad tracks one block away, the train went by at 8-10 times in the night with the train horn blowing waking us. "Bait and Switch"
I think I got the bait and switch routine. Signed up for one room type private room with private bath and when I got to the hotel I was given a European room instead. I was told I could have a private room for more money. I refused and cancelled my reservation. "Awesome Hotel within awesome downtown area"
The Owner was at the front desk, she was super helpful and amazing. This hotel is fabulously decorated and situated perfectly in the downtown area. Great hotel! Enjoyed our stay in this quaint little town. The only problem is that the hotel is NOT 2 miles from McMenimans Edgefield in Troutdale as stated. Maybe as the crow flies! The hotel is small but beautiful, it is very well kept and has a lot of character. The girls at the front desk were very friendly. When we checked in the girl was very nice and carried my mom's suitcase up the stairs. That would be the only negative is that there is no elevator, if anyone is not able bodied they would have difficulty with the stairs. Perfect small town location within easy drive to Portland without the traffic and expense of the big city. Great neighborhood for walking to restaurants, movie theatre, coffee, and exercise. "Cute and homey Hotel"
We enjoyed staying at the Camas hotel.. The rooms had a lot of character. The only thing I didn't like was that you could hear and smell the paper mill at night. There were complimentary ear plugs in the hotel. The air conditioner was really loud too. The continental breakfast was decent - in a really neat "balcony" room. Service was very nice and friendly. "Cute Little Hotel"
The reviews of this hotel made me select it as our choice when going to Portland. We wanted to stay outside of Portland to save a bit of money, we didn't think we loved the hotel and the town as much as we did. It's a little one street town but super cute... the hotel could be charging double what it does .. it's as nice, if not nicer than any Fairmount […] , or Marriot I've stayed at. Actually, we stayed in a Marriot hotel in Seattle two nights over paid double what we did at the Camas hotel and hated every minute of the experince.. hhahahah... Yes say here. She provided a review of the surrounding resturants, as the hotel's resturant was closed on Monday night, to assist us in deciding if we should stop on the way for dinner or wait till we got to Camas to eat. "Our spur of the moment get away!"
On a spur of the moment, let's get away sort of thing, we booked a room at our current favorite place, Camas Hotel. We can always count on a wonderful stay with no surprises! This hotel is very sweet. Only 20 minutes from the Portland Airport and yet tucked into a small atmospheric old town in Southern Washington on the Columbia Gorge.
