Stayed one night at this new, smartly designed -- and differently designed -- hotel. Rooms extremely comfortable and stylish. Very attentive staff, good snacks and breakfast -- hotel has been thoughtful about many details of traveller comfort. Would go out of my way to stay here again.

Casa Camper exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, we felt very welcome and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive; they went above and beyond to help and serve us during our stay (namely, Georgina, Wim, and Alessandro) from offering suggestions on restaraunts, helping us with our football game plans, to […] printing our boarding passes for us. Rooms at Casa Camper are well thought out and practical (hooks all across the room, robes and slippers, large and plush towels, huge shower with 3 shower head options- handheld, overhead shower, & bidet-, large bottles of quality shampoo, conditioner, and soap.) The beds are very comfortable and when they advertise king beds, they are actually king beds!-- not 2 twins pushed together. The mini-lounge across the hall was a nice touch and great for extra space, especially if anyone wakes up earlier than the others and doesn't want to wake them. Our teenage sons (who had their own room) thought the hammock in their mini-lounge was very cool. The 24-7 drinks and snacks were definitely a plus. Breakfast was comprehensive: made to order eggs or omelets or pancakes or french toast; pastries; croissants; dry cereals; fruit, yogurt; cheeses; meats; and the wonderful freshly squeezed orange juice. My daughter and I stayed one night, on our way back through Barcelona. The hotel's rooms are all arranged with a small room on one side of the corridor with a window to the street, and the bedroom on the other with a view of a vertical wall, with potted greenery on a sort of scaffolding against the wall. The furniture is IKEA style and while this might […] appeal to someone's idea of hip, it certainly did not justify the high price. Although breakfast is included, which most hotels in the area charge clients an exhorbitant price. Staff is friendly, maybe more than most Barcelonans; perhaps they are trying to see if a smile and a breakfast will make up for rather Spartan (and cheap) furnishings. Location is great, but the area is absolutely packed with hotels. Also, after booking 3 hotels for this vacation alone online, I am convinced that these bookings receive the hotel's least desirable rooms, i.e. lower floor, close the the elevator, poor lighting (in the case of Casa Camper, a room on a lower floor will get less light through the back). Casa Camper Barcelona is certainly different to the normal 4 - 5 star hotel and that’s what makes it special. It’s very casual and relaxed and we felt at home there. We liked the fact that there was no mini-bar but rather a communal kitchen full of healthy food and drinks which we could access at any time. We traveled on a Tauck Tour thru Portugal and Spain staying at 4 and 5 star hotels. We booked Casa Camper for our stay in Barcelona after our tour was over and it was our favorite hotel, The staff were so friendly and helpful, the location was excellent and it was so nice to have food available all the time. Loved Casa Camper. It was our first time in a 'boutique' style hotel and what a refreshing change from the overly formal rather obsequious set up in traditional high star-rated hotels. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. They accepted delivery of tickets to a football match before we arrived (a secret present for my husband's birthday), […] and were incredibly helpful when our return flight was cancelled due to French air traffic control strike. The rooms were really funky and the idea of a 24/7 free snack area was inspired, making it so easy to grab a bite to eat without having to order room service or visit a cafe. I found the bedrooms a bit dark - but probably because we were on the ground floor. Great to chill out in our sitting room in the hammock or even enjoy a drink on the terrace on the roof. The location is great, so close to La Rambla, but quiet and with much more character than hotels in the L'Eixample area. Läs mer

Var spent ut i fra tidligere anmeldelser, men ble svært positivt overrasket. Betjeningen er veldig høflige og serviceinnstilte, og det var veldig hyggelig å bo der for et par netter. Svært sentralt, ca tre minutters gange fra flybussen. Det som var den største bonusen ved dette hotellet, er tilgangen til noe lett å spise døgnet rundt. Praktisk når en […] bare ønske å slappe av litt på hotellet, eller sitte litt i resepsjonsområdet og lese aviser, etc. Kan virkelig anbefales til alle kategorier reisende. Läs mer
