Great hotel and service. Unfourtanely there was a problem with the shower and the water would not fall thorugh so that the whole bathroom floor was full of it. The problem was quickly solved. Very nice rooms and great breakfast.

Från Hotell Domus tar du tar dig gåendes ner till Kudamm på cirka 10 minuter. Där går bussar och U-bahn till resten av staden. Går du ytterligare 10 minuter så hamnar du vid S-bahn och snabbtågen till flygplatsen Schönefeldt. Helt OK. Omgivningarna runt Ludvigskirch platz är också mycket trevliga med flera bra restauranger. Hotellet ser bättre ut i […] receptionen än vad det gör när du kommit till ditt rum. Lite 70-talskänsla. Gammeldags med fysiska nycklar. Heltäckningsmattor. Inget kylskåp och har du otur så får du nöja dig med en tjock-tv på 17 tum. Men sängarna är sköna, badrummet rent och en flaska vatten bjuder man på. Ett stort frågetecken för ventilationen. Luften är dålig på rummet och jag är glad att det inte var varmt ute när jag bodde där. Den fläkt som sitter i taket hade inte klarat av att hålla rummet svalt. Och trots att badrummet är rent så finns det en liten unken lukt som troligtvis beror på att det inte ventileras ordentligt. Det är lyhört. Ljud från andra rum hörs och trafiken från Uhland strasse kan nog av många uppfattas som störande. Och "fri WiFi" visade sig vara tidsbegränsat till en timme per dygn. Det är lite väl snålt i dessa uppkopplade tider. Men priset jag betalade förlåter en del av dessa "frågetecken". Godkänt blir det. Men du får inte ha för höga krav. Läs mer

Mkt fint men äldre hotell, det ända minuset är att madrasserna är klädda i galon och lakan på det vilket gör det väldigt svettigt att sova på.

Vi möttes av trevlig personal i receptionen, som hjälpte oss att låsa in väskorna tills incheckningstiden eftersom vi kom lite för tidigt (incheckning först vid kl 15.00). Rummet var ganska litet men fräscht, och ordentligt uppvärmt trots att det var -15 grader ute. Receptionen och lobbyn var nyrenoverade och superfina, över förväntan för ett trestjärnigt […] hotell! Vi provade inte hotellfrukosten som kostade nästan 10 euro per person och dag, utan gick istället ut och åt på något av de massvis caféer som fanns i området. Kan verkligen rekommendera Ottenthal cafe och Hamlet, vilka båda låg ca 2 min gångväg från hotellet! Det finns också massor av bra och prisvärda restauranger i närheten, t.ex. italienska mizzio's och kinarestaurangen Tian Fu. Hotellet ligger även på gångavstånd från Kudamm (ca 10 min) och U-bahnhållplatsen Spichernstrasse (ca 5 min). Under vår vistelse behövde vi skriva ut ett dokument från datorn. Vi fick använda datorn och skrivaren i hotell-lobbyn men bläcket var slut och mannen i receptionen visste inte hur man skulle fixa det. Vi fick dock maila dokumentet så att de skrev ut det i receptionen, så det löste sig ju till slut. Eftersom vi pratar hyfsad tyska gick det bra att kommunicera med personalen och de var trevliga och hjälpsamma! Det är dock lite tveksamt om det hade gått lika bra att prata engelska, då vissa inte verkade ha så bra engelskkunskaper. En fint och fräscht hotell. Nära till många bra resturanger. Gångavstånd till U-bhan, som kan ta en till vilken ände du vill i Berlin.

Valde detta hotell eftersom de hade boka-tidigtrabatt och att det enligt beskrivningen ska ligga centralt vid Kurfürstendamm. Detta visade sig dock inte stämma, utan hotellet ligger ca 10-15 minuters promenad in på Uhlandstrasse, en tvärgata till Kurfürstendamm. I övrigt motsvarade hotellet mina förväntningar, frukostbuffén var bra men ingick inte i […] rumspriset, vilket inte är ovanligt i Berlin. Läs mer

I stayed here because it was somewhere my friends were staying. I would probably stay there again if I needed a place in Berlin to stay. The location is fair far from the the various attractions but you can get over that way with a 10 minute walk to the U stations.

This hotel had a very nice staff, we even got to check in earlier which was a big plus for us! The lobby is beautiful (like a 4 star hotel) but the rooms are more of a 3 star hotel. Overall the neighborhood was really nice, alot of cafes, shops grocery and only a couple of blocks from the main street which takes you everywhere, all the hop ons and offs, […] a big shopping mall. Been at hotel before, good location in pleasant neighborhood. This time total indifference when reporting soiled toilet in room when moving in, staff indifferent in general. Rooms are comfortable, though, modern bathroom, breakfast buffet.

This is a budget priced hotel that is clean, well maintained and professionally operated. I would recommend it to anyone. It is however, without airconditioning which most North Americans do not want to live without. This is my second stay and I would return again without hesitation.

I booked a double room for single occupancy, but was given a very small single room with only a fan but no air-conditioning. It was clean but not comfortable bed, and very poor pillow! Breakfast was nice.

Their people are very helpful. The location is good. The only thing is that the single room is kinda small. Also, the internet speed is way too slow, you can barely watch a youtube video. They change internet password everyday so don't forget to ask for update. If you're simply staying for a bed (like me), then Domus is a fine place.

Overall, the hotel was comfortable, but was very small and had no conveniences. It was very much like a school dorm room. The internet was poor, but everything else was ok.

Very nice hotel. Perhaps a little far out from the centre of the city for some tastes but with the excellent public transport system just yards away, it was no problem for us. A super range of restaurants within a very short walk of the front door is also a plus point.

Public transport is close and a Taxi rank just outside. The breakfast is pretty average, but there are loads of lovely cafes around. Laundry charges in the hotel are steep, but there is a laundromat a block away. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent 3 star. Expect German style bed. No coffee making but bottled water on tray provided. English language television restrcted to CNN, BBC World America and Russia Today. Strong hot shower.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room clean with everything I needed. HOWEVER pillows are VERY soft, so don't be shy about asking for an extra. Great location. 5 minutes walk from Ku'damm, U-bahn station right on the corner as is the bus stop for the 109 to the airport. Rooms are very small but that is by far outweighed by the price. Very clean and fresh feeling from the time you enter the hotel, right through your stay in the room. Perfect breakfast. Nothing extravagant but everything I could wish for. Location is very good even if it is a 15 min walk to Kurfurstendam. Friendly staff and good Internet connection […] throughout (but the story with getting a new password every day is ridiculous). Also, if you are in a double room an have 2 devices, you can't use the code at the same time (but since the htl was not full at the time, they gave me a second code but only because they weren't fully booked). The hotel was quite clean. However there were two days during which my room has not being cleaned, for no particular reason. The staff was nice. The biggest flaw was that I was promised free Wi-fi, and I did not have it for technical reason. I told the staff I did not have Wi-fi and they didn't know what to do during the whole 7 days I've spent there. […] None of them. Are time in Berlin was a short one, And it was really nice that it was so close to Kurfürstendamm strasse. Location is really great, Hotel room was clean and nice but not a good view of the city, just a back ally. We had a little accident where a glass got destroyed, but the personal was really nice and say that it was okay. A other thing that I think […] was bad was the toilet in our room did not flush that well and they could not do anything about it they said. That make it unhealthy to live in that room, in my opinion. So we did not use the toilet that much in the room, we went down stairs. All in all it was a nice stay at Domus and if was not for the toilet I would give it 4 stars for the interior design, location and 24 hour staff. Läs mer

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and I would definitely recommend it. It is quiet, clean, comfortable, with free internet and it is situated in a lovely leafy area in the former west side of Berlin. Very friendly, helpful staff, very keen to help out with an enquiries! Free Wifi too. However, it certainly doesn't brush up to the photos shown here, and having stayed in the similarly priced Leonardo Berlin (Bismarchstrasse) I was very disappointed at the quality of room. One of the worst pillows I've ever encountered (a sack of post-it notes would […] have been more comfortable) coupled with a bizarrely inadequate shower curtain and lack of proper bathroom drainage added to what was an *almost* unpleasant stay. The hotel's plus points: the friendly reception staff + modern and clean reception, masked the poor room quality. The quiet, central location partly made up for the experience, but I can't help but feel I'd paid substantially over the odds especially when so many hostels are so so much cheaper and provide amenities on par with this place. The hotel had a very inviting reception area and public areas. However, soon as you get out of the lift and onto the corridors it goes from 2010 to 1960. The corridor I was on (floor 2) felt very old and tired. I got to the room and found that the room wasn’t quite what I thought it would be. There was a bottle of water in the room which was a welcome […] sight, but I feel a kettle would have been more beneficial but heh. The bed was comfortable but the pillows (I asked for a second you only get one on arrival) felt like they were made of meringue and was hopeless. The hotel says it has soundproof windows which is true I didn’t hear any noise from OUTSIDE the hotel but heard plenty on the INSIDE. I’m not sure what the walls are made of but for soundproofing they're as useful as the pillows. The room was cleaned everyday and the staffs were always very friendly. The easy way to get to the hotel is using the underground. If you're traveling from Schoenfeld go to Alexanderplatz then take U Bahn 2 to Wittenberg platz then U Bahn 1 to Uhlandstrabe then follow road with casino on your right hand side all the way down then its on your right. The hotel on its website says that all guest rooms offer an advanced level of comfort and technology, I wouldn’t agree with that statement to be honest. The hotel is basic but clean and modern. Which was excellent given the very low price. The hotel is also in a handy location; surrounded by restaurants and near to a U-bahn station and bus stop. The staff where extremely helpful and made my stay easy a comfortable. Overall, I was very impressed, excellent value for money.

The Hotel is perfect for those seeking a clean hotel near the city centre as the hotel is two minutes from a U-Bahn station which takes you in the centre of Berlin at Potsdamer Platz in no time. The room was short on luxury but was a clean pleasant place to spend at the end of an exhausting day.
