Hotell Crimson Inn - Bridgewater

Although our room was clean in general, there were areas that needed attention such as dirty handprints on doorframes and such. Also, you evidently have to be out of your room by 11 a.m. in order to receive housekeeping services. There was also a missing towel rack (holes in walls) that was unattractive. This hotel is very nice inside. however rooms facing Maine Street is a No, Extremely noisy all night long. Rest of the rooms are awesome. I will stay here again.

Lovely hotel. We stayed in the King size suite right on Bridgewaters lovely Main Street. We showed up a little after 6 on Thursday- but check in was a breeze - even though they were already closed. We just called the number posted and they gave us our door code and in we went! The suite was lovely (full fridge, stovetop, microwave, kitchen sink, dishes, […] etc) the bed/bedding soft and comfortable. I read some other people complaining about the late night chicken truck noise - but we live right off a beltway, so we didn't even notice the occasional truck traffic. Only 1 issue - it would have been nice to have two end tables for the king size suite - I didn't have anywhere to put my glasses! Läs mer

We were very pleased with our king suite. We arrived after check in time, which wasn't a problem thanks to hotels.com. The rep contacted the front desk, who in turn called us directly to provide our room number an code key. Staff was friendly and helpful and willing to do what needed to make our stay pleasant. Our suite had recently been remodeled and […] was beautiful. Suite was exceptionally clean, bed was very comfy, and all kitchen appliances had been updated and worked perfectly. The suite, although facing the street was quiet. Did suggest that do to street/porch lighting a blackout blind be used over the front facing window, however the light did not keep us from getting a good nights sleep. All the rooms are non smoking, so no smell!!!! Would expect to pay much more for the suite we had, would highly recommend this hotel, especially for those looking for romantic getaway. Two of my daughters graduated from Bridgewater College in the last 2 years and still remain in the area. My youngest is getting married near there this fall. We traveled there to see the venue for the wedding and check out the caterers. The Crimson Inn was very convenient for us as it close to my daughters and not far from the wedding venue. We have […] always liked visiting Bridgewater, it is quaint little town (reminds me of Mayberry) with a big campus in the middle. There are some nice parks and a river near by for relaxing and fishing. You will have the opportunity to witness the Mennonites of the area riding their horse buggies around the streets. While you are there a visit to the Dayton Farmer's Market would be a a treat. The Crimson Inn itself is a fairly new building the rooms are in very good shape the bed we had was very comfortable and the bed linens were very fresh and not worn thin. The room was clean and since it was a suite had a small kitchen area and a nice bathroom. Perhaps the only donw side was there was no cold water on tap. Don't know why, turn on the cold tap, hot water, turn on the hot tap, hot water? But that was no problem. All in all it was a pleasant time. Läs mer
