"Kort visit"
Vi hade en kort vistelse på hotellet, men angenäm. Hotellet var modernt och välskött, trevlig personal. Fina och rymliga rum. Vi gillade speciellt dusch utrymmet som såg alldeles nytt ut. The hotel was easily accessible from the 635 bus from the airport. As the reviews said the bus stop was two stops and let the passengers off in front of the hotel for 1.30 Euro each way. It was a clean, quiet hotel. There was free coffee and croissants for a continental breakfast early in the morning. Have used the Holiday Inn Express near Munich Airport on 4 previous occasions. This was 1st stay at Novotel which is similar price but far superior. Hotel location is very much far from the city center but there is bus stop in front of the hotel. There is bus every hour to the airport. From the airport there is train to anywhere in Munich. Great location for a short stopover. Exit the airport to the right and catch the #15 bus to the Novotel. Cost is Euro 1.30. 10 minute ride with stops clearly indicated in the bus. This hotel was very modern, clean and carefully thought out. Our room was really spacious, even a couch as well as a desk. Our only criticisms would be that the lift was a long way from our room (which isn't a huge deal except if you have heaps of bags like we did) and the food in the restaurant was expensive and not good quality or variety. Stayed one night before returning to the U.S. next morning.This hotel easily beats majority of much more expensive places in terms of efficiency, cleanliness and comfort. Great breakfast. Tremendous staff, all eager to help, smiling and pleasant. "Great hotel for comfortable layover"
We chose this hotel for the proximity to the airport as we had a 1 night layover before continuing our trip. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. The building is only 2 years old as of Dec. 2012 so it is still in extremely good condition. The location is close to the airport, but in a quiet neighborhood and there is no sound from the take […] offs and landings at all. The train station for the S8 and the S1 line is a 7 mknute walk makingit possible to takethe train into the city very convenient. We were only able to stay overnight because we had a connecting flight early the next day. We didn't know that there was a bus stop right outside the hotel so could have taken a bus from the airport, but it was easy to catch a bus to the airport the next day.
