This was such a last minute stop for us. But the hotel is very cute and the rooms are so comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and gave you the feel of a small cottage. We would gladly go back for another visit.

The 2 staff people I met were very helpful. The hotel is well laid out, beautifully landscaped, and located perfectly. Close to Solvang, Santa Ynez and Ballard, but not smack dab in the middle of crowds & traffic. Very safe. Very easy to find.

My fiancée and I normally head up to Ojai to escape our crazy lives. We decided to head to Santa Ynez and we found this little gem by chance. We will be back had a great time. Ask for the room with the hot tub!

Absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious and the surroundings gorgeous. The grounds were maintained with excellence and the added touch of a fountain right outside of our room was an added treat. Great place to relax in the countryside close to Solvang and on the doorstep of the Central Coast's vineyards. Really great location and nice almost Bed and Breakfast feel to this Hotel. Very reasonably priced for the location. Perfect location for both wine tasting or downtown Solvang.

It was a wonderful place to stay, and I would go back. My complaint was the heater was too hot on it's lowest settings, but it was too cold without any heat.

Very friendly staff. I stayed there to do a century bike ride. When I told the hostess that I needed to leave in the morning before breakfast, she put together a basket of treats and left them for me. She also made sure I had extra coffee packets in my room.

Was very pleasantly surprised - was even nicer than we expected. The grounds were lovely - the area was beautiful and it only took a few minutes to get to Solvang. It was quiet and relaxing. Room was spotless. Breakfast was included. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The young man and woman that work in the front desk are very nice and thoughtful. On the first evening of our two-day stay, they brought cookies and a vase with locally grown lavender to our room. I've stayed at the Meadowlark Inn several times over the years, and this is the second time I've left a review. Forgive me, if I repeat myself. It's always a pleasure. I'm a low maintenance guy, but I find the accommodations to be quaint, quiet, convenient and reasonably priced. I believe there's a small pool available, tho' I've never used it, as well […] as hot tubs adjacent to certain rooms. You can also check-out VHS videos and DVDs, possibly books and games, too. Most, if not all the rooms have a small, stocked kitchenette. The rooms may include Wi-Fi, too. There is also a fire pit and a grill available in the center courtyard. Finally, you can enjoy a free, continental breakfast in the morning. It's close to the casino, Solvang, wineries and tasting rooms in Santa Ynez and Los Olivos. More like quaint cottages along the wine valley tour rather than a hotel. Very romantic and perfect for a couple wanting to run away to the Santa Ynez Valley for a wine valley getaway. The rooms actually have keys rather than a swipe card!! How's that for a blast from the past!!

This is a great B&B. Absolutely ideal for a nice getaway. It's conveniently located and accessible from Santa Barbara. The complimentary breakfast is served in a cozy nook and was very gratifying. The room is well kept and clean. I look forward to visiting here again.

really nice motel with very helpful staff. We neede to modify a booking in another hotel and they made the call for us and sorted it out with no charge. Breakfast was very well done, lots of fresh fruit, freshly baked waffles available too. An all round very pleasant stay

Located outside of "downtown" Solvang by less than two miles it has a delightfully remote feel. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. While it's not a show stopper, it was an excellent place and much cheaper than most in the area. It's a quiet place for those that are going to be noisy, ala a bachelorette party etc. Family friendly and will be staying here next time.

The Meadowlark Inn is a late 60's ranch style property that has been carefully maintained. The grounds are inviting and the location, about half way between Solvang and Highway 156, is very convenient for Solvang and the Santa Ynez Valley wineries. Our unit had a small kitchen and refrigerator, which would have helpful for a longer stay.
