The ouitside of the building seemed run down which made us wonder about our selection. However the inside was nicely renovated. I imagine the older furniture will soon be updated as well. We slept well. The location was convenient and the price was good.

I choose The Acadia Inn because of the good reviews I had read. The price I got was very reasonable but the room was not as clean as everyone stated it would be. They are renovating all the rooms so they have fresh paint but the room we had was already looking worn out. Just a little more effort put into cleaning and this would be a great little motel. […] Hair in the bathroom, dusty alarm clock with paint splatters on it, stained rug by the door and some one else's socks in the corner, that is not clean to me. I stayed with my son during a BMX bike race. This hotel is not much to look at from the outside, but what really counts is what's inside. We were greeted by two very kind and helpful front desk staffers (they seemed like owners). The room was spotless with an extremely clean bathroom and nicely groomed beds, etc. A basket of personal care products in […] the bathroom was a nice touch, plus new looking towels carefully folded. The beds were comfortable with new sheets and three pillows on each bed. Coffee maker was very handy, as was the fridge. Great location slightly out of the core, but if you're driving, it's just 3 minutes to the city centre. I recently stayed at the Sheraton Seattle and this was cleaner! Very disorganized at office. They sent us to 2 occupied rooms before getting us a vacant room. They also charged us $20. more than the Hotel.com total. Room however was clean and the office staff friendly. Appeared a whole section was under renovations but it was not noisy.

A very short drive to the hospital. Clean. Bathroom looking recently done. Best Value in town. Not fancy but clean and functional.

The check in process is easy, the rooms are tidy..but worn and not as clean in the bathroom as one would expect. Ive stayed in different rooms, and the clock radios have been old and worn out (paint splatters on one). Not a big deal, but visually a bit dated. Nice to have flat screen (perhaps hiding the wiring is a good measure to take) No extra blanket, […] but room has ample heating. Linens are worn and thin - towels could be upgraded. Getting to this place is a little confusing but then there's not a lot of room for proper cloverleaf ramps in Kamloops. Lots of recent renovations and very clean. Will definitely stay here again.

The young fella on check-in was increadibly polite but I asked for a wake up call (actually reminded a second time as I did not want to be late for work) and it never happened. Luckily I woke up. We really enjoyed our stay and will most definately stay here again. My family travels to Kamloops several times a year and they were delighted to find this place and will be staying here on their trips. It was a simple, practical room that was extremely clean!

We were very pleasantly surprised by the Acadian. We normally stay at the Best Western but will be staying at the Acadian in future visits. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. The rooms have all the amenities a traveler could need. Flat screen tv, blow dryer, fridge, coffee maker, microwave. The Adacian also provides mouthwash, and great Neutrgena […] shampoos, conditioners, and lotions. The staff is very friendly. Lots of fastfood type restaurants nearby. Located just off the highway. This motor inn is economical, no frills, and comfortable. They are undergoing renovations which is always a good sign. There is a restaurant connected to the motel.

My initial expectations of the hotel were lower, and I was not only surprised at the cleanliness, and condition of the hotel, but it surpassed a much higher priced hotel that I'd stayed at a few weeks earlier. I would definitely stay there again.

It was great place to stay. This is an example how it's supposed to be. Location is convenient, personel is polite, attentive, and very helpful. Rooms are clean, nothing special, but absolutely great to stay for one or few nights. We have traveld in Canada for 2 weeks, but that was the only motel which had loundry. We got good impression.

We spent one night at this motel near the downtown area and enjoyed the spacious room with 2 Queen beds. The room had older fixtures and was void of decoration. A diner on site provided a good breakfast at cost and friendly service. Wireless internet service was a little slow but functional.

It was a decent hotel. Right in the downtown. Very reasonable price...beds were comfortable. Overall would definitely stay again.

The staff were pleasant, but the office to check in was strong with spices, and it was hard t get to hotel as the streets were only one way and ended up on a street that turned into a freeway and couldn't turn around until five minutes later in order to get the other direction. Upon arriving to room which was on lower level and was convenient for a […] disabled person like me, the sound from the room above me was so loud, i could hear the person going to the washroom above me, and it constantly sounded like a heard of elephants walking on my head. I had to sleep with headphones on to drown out the sound, and when i went to complain, i was told sorry, but wasn't offered a solution. I rolled down the sheet to one of the beds in the room, and it was filled with chips and cookie crumbs, so obviously the bed was not changed. I was so grossed out by this I chose to sleep on top of the covers with my own blanket. Läs mer

While looking average from the outside, the room we had at the Arcadian was clean with new carpets, and was very comfortable.

The place was very clean and I thought it was close to downtown. The noise from sirens on the street was a bit disruptive but not enough for me not to stay there again.

The staff are lovely and were very knowledgable about the area. our room seemed to have been recently updated. It was so clean and new with a flatscreen tv and great bathroom. Even had fancy brand name soaps/shampoos! It is just a roadside motel but for the price it's very good quality. Also carpark felt safe.

It was affordable, the room was old and run down, cigaratte burns all over the carpet, no bedside tables or clock radio, and the chairs were filthy and stained. The over all room was as clean as it could be, being as old as it was. The management was great and very friendly.

This was our second stay at the Arcadian. They have comfortable clean rooms at a good price. The front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful.

ROOM BIG DOWNGRADE DUE TO THE FACT WE HAD A MINI POODLE. ROOM WENT FROM A 5 RATING TO A 2.5 RATING. SO IF YOU HAVE A PET BEWARE.

Booked this place because it is advertised as Pet Friendly and I was traveling with a dog. At first I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was for the price and allowing pets, until I saw the sign "NO PETS ALLOWED" Wow, what part of pet friendly did these guys miss? I checked at the desk and they had not read the notes I provided when I booked […] on line, so they had put me in a non-pet room. They move us to another room and I won't say it is the worst room I have ever been in, but it was a close second. I was in a word, "NASTY". So, I can recommend this place if you don't have a pet. The non-pet rooms are more that you should be expecting for the rate they are asking. Just don't expect great service for the price. Besides putting me in the wrong room, they told me their restaurant opens at 07:00 for breakfast, but when I went down in the morning it turned out it opens a 09:00 on weekends. So I had to go find another restaurant for breakfast, but after see the condition of the room I was in, that is probably just as well. Läs mer

Given the room cost, I was pleasantly surprised with the accomodations. The motel is centrally located with main access roads close by and a 10 minute drive to the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a wall mounted big screen. The bathroom was recently renovated. There was a small fridge and microwave […] provided. Door parking was readily available. There is a great little restaurant on site that is famous for its all day breakfasts and lunches. Their prices were very reasonable as well. The staff were very friendly.The atmosphere there was homey. If my experience was typical, it will be a very affordable and enjoyable stay for pleasure or business.
