Very quiet rooms were super clean. Good free breakfast, but everyone showed up at 9am and it got crowded. Helpful and friendly staff. I would love to stay again!!

We arrived thinking we would have 2 beds for 3 people. Evidently we were wrong, though our hotels.com reservation specified 2 beds. They gave us 1 king and we were "given" a rollaway. The look in my eye probably helped them decide that charging me for that would have been a mistake. Hotel was full. Called hotels.com and they called the hotel and confirmed […] everything I had already told them. Gave me a $100 coupon for another hotels.com stay. Asked later at front desk how the mixup could have happened. Clerk said it was a Holiday Inn corporate policy not to guarantee #of beds, only a room. Won't be picking HI again. Asked for xtra blankets and was told the key for that storage area was locked in the mgr's office. Said they would call back with an update. Called back at 10:05 p.m. after we were already asleep and said again that the key was locked away, blankets still not available, but they could provide us with extra sheets. Ummm, no thanks. This hotel was awesome. The indoor pool was the best and warmest pool I have ever been to. Everything in the hotel was clean. The breakfast was wonderful. There was a staff member there cleaning up and refilling everything. We will definately stay here again.

Location is extremely difficult to get to and around from, maybe that will change with time. Breakfast was not worth the extra money. The coffee was bad and the juices were watered down beyond recognition. Room was clean and nice, nearly new and very comfortable.

Nice location. Pool was just rite. Friendly service. Just would have been nice that I could have been told housekeeping was off on Christmas Day but it all worked out just fine

We had a grandparents overnight party with our grandchildren - we swam in the pool, we were close to the downtown where they could see all the Christmas lights and they even had a movie showing downtown for the kids. Great place to stay and great area overalll!

The room was in good condition and clean, indoor pool was a plus, and staff was courteous. The complimentary breakfast was a good value and the hotel's proximity to downtown, shopping areas and restaurants was convenient.

Overall my experience was very good. The location to Downtown Austin was only 20 minutes. The hotel was VERY clean. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was better than I ever expected. The only issue with breakfast - they ran out of milk on our first morning and hadn't replaced it by the next day. I had my 2 yr old grandaughter with me, she wants cereal, they say they have ran out. Next morning still out will be back in 5 minutes with some, 30 minutes go by and no milk. Your kidding right? No milk when there is kids. This part was so unacceptable. Rest of the stay was great.

we enjoyed our stay. much of our trip was planned in Round Rock and Austin. the location is not too far from anything we planned to do. There are all of the basic shopping needs within a few miles. Also a big plus was being so close to the outlets. There were alot of complaints about the inconvenience of getting back to the hotel from the South. Stayed overnight for a wedding. Everything about hotel was satisfactory. Location a little inconvenient as on Southbound access road of 35 but North of the exit. So you have to go about 3 miles north to come south to get to hotel. Breakfast was good and staff were all pleasant. Room large and comfortable.

The hotel was in the right location for my needs. Since I left by the side street, the one-way in front of the hotel was not that much of a problem. I have been traveling for business for over 30 years and have stayed in almost every level of hotel there is. The Holiday Inn Express in Georgetown is exactly what you would expect of this level hotel. Although the room was reasonably priced, clean and for the most part comfortable there were several drawbacks. The first problem was that the hotel is […] located on the service road of Interstate 35 and even though the desk clerk assured us that the rooms were well insulated the roar of the big trucks made sleeping difficult. Also because the service road is "one way" unless you are arriving from the north getting to the hotel requires traveling past the hotel on the interstate and making a U-turn or winding through dark residential neighborhood to come up on the back side of the hotel. My last comment would be about the "free breakfast". The only good part was that it was located in the hotel so you did not need to leave for breakfast. On all three mornings that we were there we arrived around 7:30am for breakfast. The eggs were the powered variety and all of the food was either luke warm or cold, including the coffee. If you are traveling south through the Georgetown area and just need a place to catch a quick nap and clean up this hotel works fine. If you are planning to stay a while I would recommend looking at other alternatives. Läs mer
