Hotell TIMBERS MOTEL - Eugene

The comfort and convenience of this hotel were worth the rate. It is located right downtown near anything you could want. Overall, it was a good stay. The people upstairs enjoyed themselves on the town, and were therefore a little noisy going up and down the stairs and moving around the room. But other than that, all was good.

For the price and location, it can't be beat. Comfortable, friendly staff, close to everything. Will definitely be back during my next stay in Eugene.

Rooms were clean, adequately furnished, and pleasant surroundings particularly appreciated the many flower baskets. Adequate as a base for other ac tivities, not a "dedtination" resort.

Very centrally located in downtown Eugene. Good value . Clean and quiet.

I chose The Timbers Motel because it was the only place available near the U of O on the nights I needed without spending a fortune. After the first night, I understood why the price was so reasonable. It was very noisy and there were questionable looking people walking around. The back of my room was up against an alley and my door was around the corner […] from the alley and tucked back into a hallway. My door lock was cheap. I didn't sleep well since I didn't feel safe. I tried to find another place to stay the second night, but had no luck. The room looked clean, but didn't feel clean. The curtains, carpet, and bedspread were old, and the room had a bad smell. Clean room at a good value. We only used it to sleep , we wewre gone all day, but the wireless internet worked fine. Heating was good and bath were fine. I would recommend a second floor location with vaulted ceilings and away from lights and noise from cars parking at ground level.

I was pleasantly surprised that the room was well-maintained and clean. The hotel is in prime location, in the middle of downtown, right next to the bus station. The price is unbeatable. All the hotel staff that I interacted was nice and courteous. It is true that the carpet was a bit worn, but it seemed on its way to renovating to wood floor. Overall, […] I am very satisfied. Clean rooms; comfortable beds; convenient to the locations I needed to have access to. The customer service was good and polite. They had lovely flowers growing every where. And you can't beat the price for a room.
