Hotell Hotel Gat Folies - Paris

The hotel was quite newly renovated. The rooms are quite small but very fresh and clean. The location of the hotel was great for our purpose; close distance to Montmartre and also walking distance to the Seine. I would go there again.

En hel del bra japanska restauranger finns i kvarteret och för den som gillar shopping är det inte särskilt långt till galerie lafayette och le printemps samt fina butiker […] kring operan. Våran vistelse på hotel gat folies var över all förväntan! Mycket trevlig personal som var engelskspråkig och gav mycket bra service. Både hotellets läge och standard var super! Mycket prisvärt! Vi skulle absolut boka detta hotell igen!

Väldigt rent och fräscht hotell i bra läge, ganska lugn trafikerad gata utanför. Testa gärna och hyr cyklarna som finns precis utanför hotellet. Det är underbart och enkelt att cykla i Paris

This hotel seemed to be the perfect place to stay for a couple of nights in Paris, but it turned out to be a bit too cramped to feel comfortable. The room was literally the size of a double bed. Admittedly we had the smallest room on the floor (the fire warning plan showed the exact size and layout of each room), but it had little room to put any luggage […] (luckily we only had travel bags as anything larger would not have fit in the room). The bathroom was just as small. You could only stand in two spots, one of which was the shower. The shower had no curtain or door and so the bathroom floor (what there was of it) got wet every time you showered. Luckily there was a radiator in the room (which was controlled by a knob on the top to turn up/down) to dry a towel on (although if you both had a shower in one night, you would struggle to find somewhere to hang your towels). Finally, there were a lot of things missing from our room. There was no desk or "ergonomic" chair, the bed was definitely not memory foam (it was so solid I got a headache and I usually like more firm beds). Finally there wasn't a iPod dock anywhere to be found. Having said all this, the place was quite nicely decorated and not too far from the Gare du Nord station (we walked it in about 10 minutes). It has a Metro station 2 minutes walk away and is quite a stylish place (considering the size they have fitted it out with a lot of thought to try and provide space in something you won't complain about as you leave). It does show you get what you pay for and so I can't complain too much more as we didn't really use it for much other than sleeping. I would say if you want a cheap place then this works, but if you want comfort, then it really doesn't. Läs mer

I spent three days at Hotel Gat Folies, and the hotel exactly matched my expectations. This being Paris, I understand small hotel rooms, and Hotel Gat Folies was nothing unexpected. A comfortable queen sized bed was somehow shoehorned into a small room, but aside from that there were absolutely no frills. Don't expect room to spread out, but for basic […] comfort and value, this is a fine hotel. That said, the room was clean and tidy. I was especially impressed with the attentiveness and service of every employee I encountered. They were incredibly helpful. The downside: it's a noisy neighborhood, and the walls are thin. Also, my room had a green neon light that the blackout curtain didn't completely filter out. Very annoying. Upside: one of the better values near city center. If you just need a place to stow your gear while you head out sightseeing, it's a fine choice. Läs mer

This hotel is close to 2 metro stations and if you get the breakfast included in your hotel -it's def worth it! The service was average- not very helpful running out of patience, one girl couldn't speak english so well. The room was ok, budget room which isn't bad, one of the lights wasn't working ... otherwse average overall

This hotel was excellent value for money, with clean modern rooms, great view from the balcony (although you cannot actually sit out as no furniture), friendly staff and great location with the metro a 5 minute walk away but also possible to walk to many of the main sights. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel is clean, contemporary and centrally located near Hard Rock Cafe and Musee Grevin. Though the standard double room is really small and barely enough space to walk. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, top notch. The location is on a side street a long walk from the attractions but it is walkable. The closest attraction is the Hard Rock (If you call it an attraction) where you can get the open bus tour. The Hard Rock is a 10 minute walk. I would stay there again in a pinch, but would look for something closer to the action and a bit larger rooms and more standard air conditioning or cooling system. We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of June 2011. The room we got was modern, a bit small, but included everything we needed: clean sheets and a clean bathroom. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful and the hotel is very well located. There's a metro station a few blocks away. Positif: personnel accueillant, chambre propre, Wi Fi gratuit. Négatif: chambre minuscule, seulement 2 cintres ! Petit déjeuner un peu cher pour la prestation. Au global, bien poiur une seule nuit, surtout si on va voir un spectacle aux Folies bergères.

hotel trés agréable , moderne, trés propre, personnel jeune, sympathique et professionnel. L'hotel est trés bien situé pour les visites et le shopping.

We hebben een super weekend in Parijs gehad en de uitvalsbasis "Gat Folies" heeft daartoe bijgedragen. Dit hotel is netjes, verzorgd en modern ingericht. er is aan vele praktische dingen gedacht en uitermate geschikt voor een kort verblijf. Meestal betaal je hiervoor meer in Parijs en Frankrijk. Aangeneem verrast en zeker aan te bevelen!

Pas d'eau chaude pendant plus de 12 heures ! Pas de climatisation dans les chambres et lorsqu'il fait chaud et que l'on a une chambre sous les combles c'est intenable. Les chambres sont minuscules. Dommage car l'hôtel est bien situé et propre.

l'hotel è spartano ma appena ristrutturato e complessivamente confortevole. Nel quartiere circostante vi sono molti ristoranti di buona qualità e non eccessivamente cari. L'hotel è vicino a tre fermate di metropolitsana e ad alcuni passages.

Det værelse vi fik var med deledyne, altså én stor dyne der dækker hele sengen, ikke et koncept jeg er stor fan af, og så var sengen for hård til min smag.

Hotel Gat Folies on loistavalla paikalla, kun ottaa huomioon Pariisissa kulkemisen kannalta elintärkeän metron. Korttelin päässä on 3 tärkeää metrolinjaa, joista etenkin 7. linjan Cadet-asema on superkätevä. Huone oli perussiisti, sänky hieman epämukava (jos ei ole tottunut jousipatjoihin ja toisen ihmisen kanssa samalla patjalla nukkumiseen... joka […] kerta kylkeä kääntäessä koko sänky tärisi). Ilmainen langaton netti pelasi hyvin. Respasta yritettiin aina auttaa, välillä hieman pitemmän kaavan mukaan kielitaidon pettäessä. Kaiken kaikkiaan siisti, kätevä hotelli. Läs mer

Fantastisk hotel, virkelig hjælpsom personale - super beliggenhed - og gratis trådløst net, der virker. I gåafstand til det meste, men ligger seriøst tæt på metrostationerne Cadet og Grand Boulevard. Supermarked længere oppe ad gaden, bager lige nede på hjørnet, men hotellets slik- og sodavandsautomat er jo til at komme til døgnet rundt. Eneste minusser, […] der nu ikke skal skræmme folk væk, er, at der ikke er aircondition på værelserne - selv om vi var på besøg i juli, var der varmt på værelset, så jeg er glad for, at der ikke var hedebølge. Gat Folies is a very comfortable hotel in walking distance from several well-known tourist attractions and close to several great, authentic French restaurants if one have time to look for them. MUITO BEM LOCALIZADO, PRÓXIMO DO METRÔ, SUPERMERCADO, BONS RESTAURANTES E LOJAS.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr nettes Personal, die Zimmer sind klein aber ausreichend und sauber. Überrascht hat mich das Frühstück für 12 Euro. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!
