"Amelia Island experience next to downtown"
Great location, bathroom in double room is not setup for 4 adults to share a room with toilet in with the shower. Parking situation is poor with not enough parking available and forced to use public parking or muddy lot. "Great Experience"

"Beautiful Hotel in a Perfect Location"
We had a wonderful weekend in Fernadino Beach. The historic aspects of the hotel were beautiful and the town in delightful. Comfortable room which was very, very clean. We had a one bedroom suite so had a kitchenette. The train outside the window can be a bother especially when the horn blows at 3 am. This is a great hotel. The breakfast was nice, the hotel was clean and everyone was very nice. It would have been a perfect stay had it not been for the train that ran several times a day and night. "Perfect weekend"

Perfect in every way. Great location as well. Fun boutique shops and great restaurants and bars all within a very short walking distance. Couldn't ask for more. "5 Star experience at this Hampton Inn and Suites"
This hotel was perfect for our 29th wedding anniversary trip. Our room, a king suite, was overlooking the Marina. The bed linens were so clean and fresh, and the bed itself was so comfortable. The kitchen area was very convenient, although we chose not to cook. The living room was comfy. The hotel itself had good parking, a nice pool, a guest laundry […] room, a fantastic breakfast buffet, very friendly and helpful staff, and the decor was so enchanting. Our biggest surprise upon arrival was finding a bottle of champagne and chocolate in our room and an anniversary card from the hotel itself. Their extra special touches made this hotel a 5 star in my book. While not located "On" the beach, this hotel is just a quick four mile drive to the lovely Fernandina Beach, which was family friendly and not overly crowded. The hotel is located in the downtown historic district which offers quaint shops and fabulous restaurants within easy walking distance. the hotel was very pretty. It was located in the beautiful historic area of Amelia island. Unfortuanately for the hotel, we were there during tripical storm Debby and the hotel had leaks in some of the rooms. The staff at the front desk was not very helpful. There were no brochures about things to do on the island in the lobby. The hotel advertises […] having a rooftop pool; that is deceiving.
