We are a family with three kids (3,6,9). We liked the hotel since it was located close to what we wanted to see (stanley park, down town etc). Good parking close to the hotel and friendly staff

Our stay was good- hotel is in a location that one can walk everywhere. Clean, stylish. One suggestion-our windows faced the busy street sound muffling windows would help prevent the noise.

Very nice hotel--fantastic location within walking distance of most of the sights of downtown Vancouver, very helpful & friendly reception-desk staff, clean rooms and quirky ambiance, and I loved the Nespresso machines in each room. The minor downside--there's a high-rise construction site right next door to the hotel. There's decent sound-proofing […] in the rooms, so it wasn't a big issue, though it was a bit of an adventure to see which areas of the street and sidewalk would be blocked off each day. However the hotel's location can't be beaten--the hop-on, hop-off trolley stops within a block of the hotel, as do several city buses, including the one out to Univ. of BC, and I was able to walk to the restaurants on Robson St. and down to Canada Place. Everything you need in a hotel. Just the right spot in town to get to lots of neat places. Just the right combo of comfortable and clean. Not just a hotel but a fun traveling experience. Some nice amenities, bikes are fun, coffee is yummy, tv is big.

This was a great little hotel, very clean and tidy. The staff were most helpful even allowed us to store our suitcases when we travelled on for a week until our return. The location was good and very handy to transport. Would definately stay there again and would recommend it. Well priced for downtown.

The Burrard was great, room was good, wifi was great. Location is close to Davie St shops and Granville St shops so plenty of restaurants to choose from. Elevator was really slow so ended up taking the stairs most of the time ( only 4 floors so not a drama)

Great clean reno of an old stalwart - excellent location in a very walkable city - close to downtown core (art gallery, major shopping), close to Robson Street, close to Skytrain and other transit. Staff friendly and helpful, room was clean (and cosy ) and efficiently laid out. Coffee maker was great, 2nd floor boasts immediate access to the lovely […] garden and inner courtyard. A great value for the downtown Vancouver market. Thanks to the new owners for making it happen (and love the in-room postcards!) Next time I hope to use the bikes for a ride 'round Stanley Park! Well this hotel was a great find. Very nice rooms, great front desk help. Walking distance to all types of restaurants and stores made our stay in Vancouver even better. A nice coffee shop right on the premiss, two fresh bottles of complimentary water in our room each day and Free easy to use wifi that worked even in the very nice courtyard. Dont let […] the outside view alarm you and anyday now the sidewalk construction out front should be completed which will make this gem of a hotel even brighter. Läs mer

The hotel was fine for my purpose. I just needed a place to stay overnight between landing at YVR and catching a ferry in the morning. I had no need of any hotel services; I was just there to sleep. The hotel is across the road from St. Paul's Hospital, so it has the potential for a lot of ambulance sirens during the night, but I didn't notice any. […] I did notice that someone had left a dirty plate and cutlery outside a room when I checked in around 10 PM, and it was still there when I left in the morning. I have spent decades staying in Vancouver, and there is no better hotel than this for affordability, hipness, location, and benefits. Everything works here. Cafe in the bottom of the hotel is earnest and good. People are so friendly and helpful. And the use of the FREE cruiser bikes is such a good deal. We really enjoyed our stay at The Burrard, which was youthful and fun, while having all the necessary comforts, at a great price. (Nespresso coffee!) The hotel was very nice with a fun sort of Jetson theme. The service was wonderful, some humor in the surroundings, and very clean and updated.

The hotel was a good price, and located very centrally for touring around Vancouver. Although the man on the desk when I checked in wasn't very helpful and kind of smarmy. Over all tho good clean rooms and a comfy bed. In walking distance of Stanley Park and Rogers Arena plus just off the downtown core.

This hotel is close to everything you could want downtown, restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. The parking lot is a little bit tight and is $20.00 + taxes / night. The wifi wasn't really working in our room. Overall the room and hotel was very nice and affordable.

Had a great stay at the Burrard. Fantastic staff and service. Very convenient to all downtown attractions. Beautiful, stylish room. High end bedding was great but the saggy mattress was slightly disappointing and was the only thing keeping us from rating our stay 5 stars across the board.

I waw charmed by the hotel. It's a neat little place with a cute theme. I only wish the weather had been warmer so I could enjoy the garden more. Go queen plus at minimum as the rooms are small (even the plus seemed sort of small. The location was great... A little noisy being down town but it didn't keep me up.

It was very nice but dont be deceive by the pictures of the hotel you see online is not as beautiful as it was shown onthe internet.But their service is ok but you have to pay for parking in the hotel lot which i thought suppose to be free andtheir parking fee is so expensive than parking in a public parking.They will not tell you to pay for parking […] when you check in but when you checked out. Family stayed in 3 other locations and out of those... Ours was the best! Cleanest, quietest, friendliest, most comfortable feeling... And on and on. Staff was great and accommodating. Has a blenz cafe on main floor which comes in very handy. Overal 10/10

My teenager stayed at the Burrard for two nights. The room was comfortable and and suited all our needs. Loved the bikes and the coffee maker. The location is great too. The hotel has a real hip vibe to it. The courtyard is really lovely too. We loved the bikes. It made getting around downtown so easy and fun. My only complaints would be that the bikes […] could use a hose down station & a little maintainance between users (Vancouver rain can get streets and paths muddy). The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean with great soaps & stuff. I wish when they'd renovated they'd sound proofed a little. If you've having an early night to get up for an early departure it can be a little noisy when the guests that came to party arrive. This place has charm and its hip. Our stay at the Burrard was excellent! The hotel was affordable, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. I only have a few minor complaints: 1. A fan would have made the room more comfortable. Without a fan, the room got a bit warm and we had to open the windows out to the noisy street. 2. The breakfast could have included more choices, it was […] rather sparse. 3. We were pleased with our stay,The only complaint was that there was no counter space in the bathroom for make up or a curling iron. Maybe they could put a mirror over the desk instead of a picture so make up and hair could be done there in comfort. Other wise, we were happy with the maid service and every thing else. Great location to explore Vancouver and all the city has to offer. Easy to find lots of restaurants,shops or the waterfront. Central to all facilities. Room was very quiet and clean, would recommend and use again.

This place was fantastic! Loved the retro boutique vibe- they obviously invested a lot in the update. The rooms were definitely small, but we came expecting that. Ours had a view out into the center courtyard, and it was nice and quiet. Inside the rooms are beautiful, just like the pictures. The thing that really sells this place though, is the location- […] right on Burrard, just a quick walk to Kitsilano and even Stanley Park. Well worth the money! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Our only complaint was that there was no fan in the bathroom, which made the room steam up after showering. Friendly concierge, very nice room, comfortable bed. The only issue is he noise level of the construction site right next door, the ambulance sirens at the emergency hospital across the road, and the traffic of Burrard street. The hotel is only 4 levels, so even while my room was on the higher level and positioned at the back, the noise was almost constant. […] If this isn't a problem for you, then the rooms are fantastic. We wanted a hotel where we could park the car and just walk everywhere. The Burrard was perfect for that. Went to lunch and dinner at "Best of 2012" restaurants. Saw a movie 3 blocks away. Shopping and night clubbing was also nearby although we just window shopped. This place is clean and efficient and much nicer inside than the exterior of the building […] on a dirty January day would suggest. Plenty of parking too, especially on the lower level. Only caveat: don't buy breakfast because the cafe adjoining the restaurant serves 2 day old pastries; just walk a couple blocks and get it all more cheaply at Cafe Artigiano. Läs mer

Stayed here for 4 nights, pleased with the clean room, there's no air con which didn't affect us as it didn't get really hot while we were there but might be an issue in Summer. In a good location, able to walk to lots of places - or walk to transport. Thought the pricing was good. Would recommend hotel to travellers during the cooler months.

Nicely decorated hotel, the rooms are all stylishly refurbished albeit not large. Our shower didn't drain well and you could see the traces of the cleaning problem that created. There was construction going on outside our room which started around 8 am-we weren't sleeping in so not a problem for us.
