This is a quite new B&B which lays in the mountian by La Spezia. The host family is very friendly and helpful, it feels like you are visiting old friends! They help you with restaurants nearby and also information how to get to Cinque terre and so on. Very nice rooms, clean and modern. A nice view over the sea from the outside terrace. The breakfast […] is very good and every day you get a weather forecast form the owner. You can park your car right outside the house. But be aware that if you use an GPS in your car to find the address you might get lost. The numbering of the street is not consecutive, so as soon as you are on the "mountain road" look ot for the B&B sign to Araianna Hill house. I truly recommend this place! Läs mer

Although a little way from the main drag (2k's) we found this place to be perfect. Great terrace for an evening vino and a perfect place to explore cinque terra. Owners were extremely helpful - we'd stay again.

Superb in all respects. Very friendly and helpful owner/staff, went above and beyond in making sure we had a pleasant stay. Best part of our 9 day trip was the time we spent at this B&B. Would highly recommend it.

Finding the hotel is a real pain without a car. We were backpacking and came to the hotel after a long day of hiking in CInque Terre, and it took 40-50 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel, when google maps said it should've only taken 20-30 minutes to walk. Google maps led us to an unknown road with steepest steps. So if you have heavy […] luggage, we highly highly highly recommend getting a taxi or taking the bus. Fernando was a big help - he recommended going to Portovenere (which is now one of our favorite places) for our second day and drove us down to the bus stop and gave us directions on how to get there. We chose the Shelley room because of the outdoor patio and it was absolutely worth it. The views of the city are astounding from the patio. We would sit outside on the patio and read after a long day of sightseeing; we never actually used the tv! The rooms were very clean and modern. We noticed in several of the other hotels we've been to in Europe, the showers would be standing showers, but with a glass door that only extended halfway, so water would always spray out. In this hotel, they added a shower curtain to prevent that, so that was very thoughtful. Breakfast was delicious - fresh croissant, cantaloupe, biscuits, coffee. We will definitely return! Läs mer

We stayed 3 nights in the Shelley room, which was absolutely fantastic, spotless clean, spacious and furnished with a lot of taste. Great views over La Spezia. The hotel is family owned and they really put a great effort into making you enjoy your self. The hosts were very helpful with recommendations, suggestions for routes, restaurants, train times. […] The breakfast was delicious. High up on the hill overlooking the sea and La Spezia, wonderful view. Host couldn't have been more gracious. Only challenge was the drive up and the steep driveway.. a trade-off for the view! Recommended restaruants were excellent. Would come again.

Arianna Hill House is a beautiful place, with great views of the harbor. The hosts were so helpful and friendly and gracious. Fernando spent a lot of time answering our many questions about bus and trains schedules, what paths to hike in Cinque Terre, etc. The house was spotlessly clean, furnishings were modern and comfortable, and free Wi-Fi was a […] bonus. Arianna Hill House had clean, spacious rooms (ours had a great view where we could see the harbor and snow capped mountains). We also had a lovely patio. Our hosts were wonderful ~ providing us with the information we needed to visit Cinque Terre and the surrounding areas. He also recommended several restaurants which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had a wonderful time at Ariana. Fernando was extremely helpful to book fantastic restaurants, recommend local points of interest (and we are so glad we followed his advice) and help us to get back to the train station. Probably our nicest stay in Italy!

Remote location, beautiful view, friendly staff. With a car it is very convenient. Fun, twisty road to get there and it is well worth it for the view. Highly recommend it.

The hotel is very nice and easy to reach if you have a rental car. Otherwise I'm not sure how you'd get there. There is a nice view from up in the hills and the mornings are filled with bird songs. Free wireless and a LAN connection in the room is great too. It is only a short drive back down the hill to the La Spezia train station. There is free parking […] a few blocks away and train tickets to Cinque Terre are only a few euros. The couple that owns/runs the B&B, Fernando and Alessia were extremely nice and very helpful with information about the area. They recommended that we go to Porto Venere which was better than any of the towns in Cinque Terre. They also gave us an amazing recommendation for dinner about 1/2 mile up the road. The restaurant was called Ca de Leo where we enjoyed a 9 course meal for $25 euros each. It was so good we went there two nights in a row. Breakfast was great too. L'hotel è nuovo e in ottime condizioni.Le camere sono ben arredate confortevoli e dotate di ogni confort.La colazione è abbondante e di qualità.Ma dove la struttura emerge sono la pulizia e l'eleganza l'educazione e la simpatia dei titolari Fernando e Alessia, sempre disponibili e pronti a dare ottimo consigli per il soggiorno.

We had a great two night stay at this nice 6 room B&B while exploring the Cinque Terre. There is a great view of La Specia from the large terasse, which is a great place to enjoy a light meal or a bottle of wine. The owner/host is very hospitable and service minded. Loistava + ystävällinen. Cinqueterraan pääsi kätevästi junalla, mutta itse talolle pääsy vaatii oman auton tai sitten taksin. Kävelymatkan päässä oli viehättävä, hyvin paikallinen ravintola, jonka 10:n ruokalajin dinneri maksoi vain kaksikymppiä - kysy ehdottomasti Fernandolta tästä.

Ich fand hier die absolute Entspannung. Die Gastleute waren jederzeit hilfsbereit. Kann die Anlage nur weiterempfehlen. Kleines Manko: das Frühstück war etwas spärlich. Bin von Italien zwar nichts anderes gewöhnt, allerdings könnte man sich als Privatunterkunft mehr Gedanken über diese Mahlzeit machen.

Arianna Hill House is erg goed met bordjes aangegeven, dus toen de navigatie even het spoor bijster was, konden we het toch snel vinden. De weg naar Arianna HH is wel heel steil, dus je auto moet wel genoeg vermogen hebben indien volbepakt (hadden we gelukkig, maar we kunnen ons voorstellen dat niet elke auto dat heeft) Het ontvangst is zeer hartelijk […] en we hebben erg genoten van de charmes van de gastvrouw, -heer en Antonella. Ze spreken alleen weinig Engels, dus dat is wel iets om rekening te houden. Het ontbijt is wel okay verzorgd, maar ik vond de paar sneetjes brood die we kregen elke dag ietwat aan de oude kant; ze zouden dit veel beter kunnen maken door even wat verse broodjes te kunnen regelen (wel krijg je gelijk bij aankomst in ontbijtruimte een warm gevuld croissantje) Dat is het enige commentaartje. De gastvrouw maakt overigens fantastische cappuccino! Zeker een aanrader! Läs mer

In effetti non ci sarebbe molto da dire se non che il soggiorno è stato molto gradevole soprattutto per l'ospitalità e la simpatia di Alessia e Fernando, per non parlare dei preziosi consigli sui luoghi da visitare e sui posti dove andare a mangiare...... per non dilungarmi troppo dico solo che lo consiglierò senza tentennamenti agli  […] amici. Difficile de dire autre chose que du bien d'Arianna Hill House : chambre nickel et tout confort, grande maison parfaitement bien entretenue avec vue magnifique, excursions dans les Cinque Terre ou a Porto Venere à proximité en voiture... Mais ce qui fait le vrai plus c'est le service de Fernando et Alessia : toujours présents (mais jamais trop intrusifs […] !), adorables, leur "guest book" parle de lui-même. Attention : le petit déjeuner servi de 8h à 9h, dur dur pour les grasses matinées... A réserver les yeux fermés !! Läs mer
